Hi guys, after long time away from the "stove", I present my first rom project for mako.
I'm not a developer and I made this rom for my personal goal!

I've been running it on my Moto X 2014 as a daily driver and I have to say its a really smooth ROM.

how's battery life?

When the keyboard is open and you click on home button, the device reboots, please fix this, a stable miui for victara would be awesome

The rom is very fluid and stable taking the only bug I leave right below.
Only performance problem I noticed, is that the battery runs out really fast, something around 3 hours of screen.
BUG:
When you type something into a text box, or just leave the text box open, and then click the home button the phone restarts itself.

up to now one more bug detected.. after the google synchronization, one or more similar contacts were merged on my contact list.. but in my contact list on google, nothing has changed..

is it work all gestures ?!?

I love this ROM, only 2 things disturbs me a bit ... The navigation bar does not work very well in some games (it keeps popping up anyway, it does not go full screen). The ROM's own browser sometimes does not open properly and gets stuck on a white screen. Otherwise it works perfectly ..

Title says "For Nokia Devices". So you can flash this. Someone says voLTE not working. U can flash and check.

Does Google Pay still work on this?

Forget VoLTE, I couldn't even make calls. But after looking at the logs, it was due to some permission denials. So I disabled and enabled Telephony permission for Dialer and I was able to make and receive calls.
Coming back to VoLTE, I had to flash the VoEnabler Magisk module to enable it.
For Google Pay to work, disable phone permission for Google Play Services (and maybe flash SafetyPatch module too, it just changes the device build fingerprint to a Huawei phone).
If you miss the Nokia Camera, you can download and install it from here. ISO and shutter speed can't be changed in pro mode. OZO audio also doesn't work and audio recording is meh
Overall, I would say that this GSI is smoother compared to Stock.

TWRP is not needed. You can use fastboot.

Very smooth rom! Only bug I've encountered is that I have to reinsert my sim after every reboot. Otherwise super snappy!

YumiOS is very small in size (around 824MB). In order to take the size down to that level, I had removed/replaced many features (because YumiOS is designed for gaming and performance):

Samsung Apps (except some system apps) and some had been replaced by AOSP alternatives

Installation
ensure you have TWRP atleast version 3.2.3-0
Download and copy the ROM to your USB OTG (preferred)
Wipe everything (SYSTEM,DATA,CACHE,DALVIK and preferably Internal storage all together)
Flash the ROM.ZIP
Do not flash another kernel until a successful boot, else it will give problems
Setup your rom and READ the F.A.Q for more information.
To use another kernel (Cronos/Kraken), Flash it AFTER a successful boot

Good idea to read this F.A.Q While the rom is installing
NOTES :
Q : I get black screen on boot
A : YumiOS has no boot animation, so that it boots faster.
[is is a myth + i added custom static bootanimation so you can make it sure when rom will completely booted]
Q : Rom is laggy, optimizes dalvik cache every reboots
A : Due to a ramdisk problem on custom kernels, you have to use stock kernel on first boot and after wiping dalvik cache. You can flash other kernel/Magisk on next boots
[Using HeliosKernel so don't worry about it]
Q : Can i use front flashlight in 3rd party apps ?
A : No, Samsung restricted front Flashlight API to stock camera since Android 8.0. And since YumiOS has FootejCamera Stock AOSP Camera, front flash wont work

A : Related to CSC, it was very stripped down in this build, will be fixed later

I was using the TRR Rom and flashed kraken kernel into it and I got laggy phone and several reboot.

Best rom for battery saving as well as performance....Gives new experience by having both oneui and aosp apps...Nice work bruh

Notes before install
Make sure you installed latest TWRP/OrangeFox/SkyHawk Recovery in here. I'm using OrangeFox recovery for this guide. AND make sure you have OEM Unlock, Unlocked on Developer Options.
If you installed custom recovery for the first time, instead : Click Wipe > Format Data > Type Yes > TWRP Main Menu > Reboot > Recovery.
If you use TWRP & want to install Magisk, Reboot > Recovery first, then flash magisk as usual.
If you want to use StockOptimized 1.3 or earlier, you need to force-reboot on the first boot of the rom. then let the rom boot again as usual. Ignore this if you are using 1.4.
If you are updating/installing apps that big in size, you might gonna get kicked out from secure folder. Just wait until the installer done and everything will go back to normal.
Do not update the Clock App, Samsung Calendar and Samsung Reminder.
SamsungPass is not working on this rom. if you found the patch, tag me immediately at the group.
Magisk app says magisk not installed even tho you flashed magisk? just reboot and boom, magisk is back.
Installation
Download the rom and also magisk if you wanted to, on your PC.
Reboot the phone to recovery.
Click Wipe > Tick Dalvik, System, Data, Cache > And swipe to wipe.
Transfer the rom and also magisk if you wanted to, from your PC to the phone.
Find the rom you just transfered > click it > Swipe to confirm flash > and wait until it's done. Magisk too if you wanted to.
Go back to OrangeFox 3-stripe Menu > Reboot > System.
Let the ROM boot until SetupWizard appear.
Post-Installation
You might want to skip this, but i recommend you to do so:
Install magisk after installing the rom.
After the rom booted, skip setup wizard immediately, don't connect to the internet.
Install magisk app, Turn on Zygisk and add deny list to these apps:

Set mount namespace mode to "Isolated Namespace"
Also install safetynet-fix, Shamiko and Bluetooh Library Patcher module. LSPosed too if you wanted to.
Reboot the phone.
If you had to connect to internet to download the modules, wipe Google Play Store & Google Play Services data before rebooting.
You can also install FireFds on LSPosed to extend the customization in the ROM. You need LSPosed for that though.

I'm on the previous version currently, but I'm having some issues with certain stock apps.First of samsung clock isn't working anymore. The app opens, but as soon as I want to create an alarm it crashes. Somewhat the same with the samsung agenda. The app opens but when trying to create an appointment it crashes.
Any way I could help getting to the problem? Or am I even the only one with the issues?
Also, do you happen to know if, I can upgrade to the new version without data-loss?

well, one thing that i notice is both app is working normally again after i uninstalled the new ver.
try uninstall the update of the app.
for the dirty flash, yea ig, but for 1.3 and up recommended to clean flash since i swapped google package installer with samsung one from samsung a9 china ver.
