Here's a substratum theme for ours LG V30, it's my first theme, I make it because I don't found a theme with dark colors or accent colors that I like, so here is Zero a theme with 4 main colors Black, Dark, Light and Zero, and all with a selectable accent color.

Installation
Install LG System Resources/System Android/SystemUI separately
The others apps can be install all together

Just select the default option, and the tiles get the color of the accent

Lol nvm it's working. I forgot to select an overall theme (black, zero, dark,etc). That's why it wasn't working. Im sooo stupid lol. Sorry for wasting ur time
Hey this theme is pretty amazing.
The notification background is also tied to LG System Resources;
so OP if you want black notifications and you're having a hard time finding where the code is; theme that also.
Really appreciate the accents you've added; great job!
Message to all users - installing LG System Resources right now won't do anything as he hasn't changed anything yet.

That's because it was a message for the OP.
If he wanted to incorporate black notifications into his theme he needs to also theme LG System Resources. (At least for LG Stock ROMs)
This theme does not include black notifications at this current time.
Edited the post you quoted to avoid confusion; sorry!

This theme was for Oreo so not sure if this will work for pie.
Simply install substratum from Play store and theme apk.
Open substratum click on the theme and after that select element you to theme and enable/apply with the button in bottom right.
Also on Pie, no go.

If you want to make it into an update.zip, I think more people would be able to try it. For some reason, the new SU doesn't play nice with metamorph on our phones

I tested this on mine and worked fine and about custom icons and custom fonts those aren't included on the metamorph theme he posted is just the notification bar, notifications icons and pulldown bar btw mediaprovider.apk is just an icon that scan media is not a launchable app so don't know what you mean.

OP, I just flashed this. Looks really nice. Only thing I've noticed so far is the pop up messages haven't changed, they are still white/grey on blue.

You should include MediaProvider.apk for the media scanner icon to match, is on the flashable zip i made.

I Installed this on perception build 4 nothign happens :\
I also tried installing on build 4 to no avail. Tried installing from cwm and metamorph neither actually applied any changes. mm gave me a message saying that one of the files was corrupt or missing.

I've updated the file to change many of the colours from Blue to Red.... Some files I'm still tracking down
ah, what about the popups , the stock froyo are dark blue, and look terrible with the red. :O
Just a heads up.
I preferred the "Fly-in" transitions rather than those flipping transitions.
If I flashed DG's flyin animations though, it would over-write the red soul theme.
So I unzipped the file. unzipped framework-res.apk.
Replaced the "res/anim" folder with the "res/anim" folder of the flyin's zip.
Flashed my modded red-soul theme.
And boom, it's working.
Not sure if it messed up anything else, but so far so good. (Can anyone confirm that simply replacing "anim" folder with another is fine?)
This is a template to invert Contacts.apk in the Theme Chooser for CM10.

but i just realize that this template also turn the sender name/number in message app into white.
I guess it might be calling some similar style/color that also use by mms.apk.
I already check all this xml from this template and also tried to change the hex color start from primary_text_color to color.xml in value folder to test what causing this white sender name/color in message.
I'm stuck...

I was able to theme the sender number, albeit unintentionally since i haven't touch ed the messaging app yet. Here is how mine looks. I'll see if i can get messaging fixed/inverted.

No. With the new commit to AOKP (and hopefully CM10 soon), this will be going away, as it will all be able to be done without the global change. Which is much MUCH better!

I already tried with these commits, but without luck. some stuff is still not themeable. I miss the color for the names in the list view.
stock color should be #ff666666, but I can´t find it in these commits. any ideas about that?

B-boy posted earlier that it's in the review process at CM for Contacts, and mms is in the pipeline.
Will you be making a guide to black out contacts with the new edits? I did one for MMS but I haven't messed with contacts enough to do one.

You have to be running the custom cm10 MMS I made to test it with the engine.

Do unlock you bootloader? Maybe you have to flash to additional files to make themes work again. I believe that your problem.

Okay you probably miss to flash to essential files.

There are no files to flash. The instructions say to put the file in the HWThemes folder. No flashing necessary.
You have to flash update data full public zip and update full hw zip for your model so your theme engine work again.

Great theme! Any way to get the notification background black, with white text? All dark themes seem to sorely lack that. Thanks!

Yes, i'm aware of this, but don't know the solution. Icons are properly named, it should work - but it doesn't. As i saw, any theme suffers of this.

If you did the rooting right then you can use themes.

*Its a Samsung Theme so you will need to install the APK and then go into your Samsung Themes and select "Start Trial"
*To get it to stick past the 10min trial there are many methods here on XDA and on the web for both Non-rooted & rooted phones as im sure you know (I personally use "Theme Service Killer")
*To uninstall the theme go into Samsung Themes and select the theme and then select "Delete"
Lots more work to be made on this theme to make it perfect!

Just search Pyeongchang on the theme store.
Some might prefer them to this theme.

Do you mean the lockscreen clock or the weather widget?
I think If you change your lockscreen wallpaper from the original it disables it

1.Both, I was wondering if running Oreo would make the coloured widget not working.
2.Notification panel was not themed (stayed white)
EDIT: I tried to put the S7 olympic theme on my s8 and those coloured widget works, but the font colour is too dark and it won't change when opening samsung's apps so I went back to official Samsung PyeongChang_1 Theme.
Looking forward to see your updated version!
Is someone able to download the official themes from the Samsung Themes store ? They are not available in France and I'd like to get them.

Is there a way to extract a theme from a phone? I have the Olympic Edition note 8 and wouldn't mind helping out. It works on Oreo as well. It has the themed apps and animated lock screen, anf a different aod theme
