Ok so the method was to unlock bootloader, flash twrp and flash magisk zip.
The other way was using temporary cwm for intel devices using T2 option. What this does is that it gives you a temporary CWM session which can be used to flash magisk zip.
Edit: You can find most of the resources here https://forum.xda-developers.com/ze...12-1-cyanogenmod-12-1-asus-zenfone-4-t3249637

Your issue resolved? If not and you don't have recovery then get the latest TWRP recovery and rename it to recovery so the file would be "recovery.img" and put it inside the folder where you have fastboot.exe file.
Now connect your phone to Windows PC and in the same fastboot folder open command prompt (Shift + Right click > then you will see "open command window here" - click on it).
Now type : fastboot devices + enter. If you can see an entry then enter the next command as below
fastboot boot recover.img - This will format the recovery partition with the TWRP and also boot into recovery.
Now you can flash ROM as you want.
Please hit the Thanks button below, if I have helped.

http://www.mediafire.com/file/yz5o5fn7yx9zkgv/file

start by flashing fw+vendor-arm64_pine_11.0.11GLOBAL-v1.2.zip then lineage os then google apps

and move the fastboot files into the folder you copied your stock image, and click on flash_all.bat
Hope it helped! Cheers!
