Hello all fans of MIUI ROMs.
I have found an interesting thread on official MIUI forum website where develepers says MIUI8 Patchrom is now released!
You can vote in a chart for device you want to get MIUI8 ROM or you can download wroten MIUI8 Patchrom from Github amd try to make a MIUI ROM on your own for your device of you think you can do it.

Mi 6x MIUI ROMs without firmware
We all know that Xiaomi added Anti roll-back to latest Stable/Beta ROMs (8.8.6 China Beta | V9.6.4.0 China stable) for (Mi 6x). Which means if you flashed an older fw/rom with a different (lower) anti version of your current one your device will be bricked!
Here I'll provide MIUI ROMs fully stock but without "firmware-update", to prevent any potential bricking while switching between Miui Based ROMs
This process is automated and provided as a part of Xiaomi Firmware Updater Project.

Notes:
After flashing any of the builds above you can't go and flash FULL Miui ROMs to downgrade, just stick to my modded versions if you want to use older MIUI builds
No matter which Anti you have, you can flash any of those ROMs with TWRP
Those ROMs doesn't affect your phone bootloader in any way, so you can roll back to your old ROM after Flashing any of the above builds
One more time, those ROMs won't remove or change your anti.
Again, if your phone is anti 4, you can't just simply go and flash FULL older ROM, even after flashing Modded builds, so stick with my builds
Anti 4 users can flash any of those builds just fine

Announcment about Firmware-less ROMsAfter providing more than 230 firmware-less packages since last August, I officially announced that XiaomiFirmwareUpdater will no longer provide firmware-less builds for whyred, wayne, nitrogen and sakura.
Meanwhile, you can still make your own builds from official miui zip files using Xiaomi Firmware Creator tool. Check more here.

I didn"t try any rom for now because i just receive the phone and i didn't get the protection.. but when i reading any post on the forum i suggest to you try MuiMix or Xiaomi.eu and leave feedback here or in the rom thread.

Hi , i not yet tested gsi rom because my phone is on warrantly and officialy support on the phone is not dead

also, any thread/info on the dragonfire kernel found in your 'another custom rom' section? shouldnt it be also included with the LOLZ kernel in the same section? i found no TLR info for it. must be a custom kernel built for our phone

What's the current status on this, what's the most stable, complete (i.e. everything works) and featureful ROM for Redmi 8?
I'm at the dawn of my phone's custrom age, and you could save me some pain if you'd tell me your opinion. What's the best one for daily use, if you like fancy things and hate things not working?

unfortunately for us the only way to know is to try them all out since theyre all still new (@skittels15 and @IAmDeadlylxrd ). download and usage stats do say hundreds, but many of users arent here. itd be much better if they were all encouraged to join the XDA and share their experiences but yeah, what else can we do?
im currently on crdroid 07-05 and honestly i find it stable enough for daily usage (i dont play games on droids). apart from 100% 'my bads' i havent noticed anything major, @mrjoker18 has tried a ton of them though.
and honestly with the current ROM devs, id suggest to not try GSIs
To answer my own question: I'm on the SakuraOS official ROM for the past few days, and it is literally flawless. Everything works down to the tiniest stuffs, no glitches despite my serious tweaking and testing, and it's super smooth, pretty and customizable. SafetyNet works too.
Frankly, it feels like a proper manufacturer OS. Better than the original MIUI.
I also tried DotOS before it for a week, which was nice, but had a few glitches. GPS didn't work, couldn't record video with the included camera app, and I had some random reboot and freezes. I also prefer SakuraOS's look TBH.

Аll @IAmDeadlylxrd's and my roms tested and not have critical bugs and recommended for daily use. Don't panic about bugs. And all roms tested by maintainers and some users from our Telegram-communities. All roms is tested before release to public.
About DotOS: this rom have bugged sourcecode. All device-specified bugs was fixed long time ago in device tree. All roms have only rom's source-specified bugs.

dont take it the wrong way guys, im very thankful to you guys for porting ROMs here. i just havent tried the other releases thats why i said us forum users have to take a test run as most people dont comment on their experiences here. itd be nice if the telegram community could also come here and say hi from time to time

Please note: I'm not a developer nor a maintainer. This ROM was built using the build guide just to have the latest security patches. I cannot fix any bugs and probably will not respond to any issues.
I haven't seen any issues after a day of use, but use it at your own risk!
In case of boot loop: flash the latest firmware and after that the ROM again.
I used latest Orange Fox Recovery for (clean) flashing.
Android OS version: 12

I was like this. But everything has moved to Telegram. You can find the channels from their own websites.
Hi guys, the battery drain is solved?
With the PE 11+ ROMs I used, the battery was empty after about 20 hours. It seems to be a bit better with my PE 12 build (~24..26hours). Actually I don't know if this is normal.
EDIT: Yesterday, phone idling most of the time, after 14 hours still 85%. Certainly there is no drain.
Slowly new custom roms are fading in for the spes/spesn redmi note 11 and now there finally is its own forum here.
A custom rom without Google and its services is still missing among these roms.
Hit a post here if you find some de-googled custom roms, will do the same.

The lack of de-googled official roms seems to come from the fact that xiaomi did not yet open source the kernel source code for the spes/spesn devices. https://github.com/MiCode/Xiaomi_Kernel_OpenSource

I'm leaving this spes/spesn and will try to get a device where the OEM is more cooperative with opening their source code. There will be no further updates from me in this Thread.
Make sure to drop new information here, since there are and will be quite some people wanting official custom roms without google.

i currently use Pixel Experience GSI rom and runs good noted: i installed via fastboot not using twrp recovery (as same as monthly update) Noted: now i move to PixelPlus UI for Android Auto Compatibility

Spark OS is also without gapps (vanilla version). Currently I am using LeOS (GSI). Its ungoogled by default and works well.
Tried Lineage OS linked in this thread , I cant install gapps ,can anyone do a build with gapps.
