Hey, everyone.
I got Huawei P Smart 2018 like few month ago, now i want unlock bootloader....
I have bought credits to DC Unlocker, but i have latest security patch/ firmware(8.0.0.174).
I tried also downgrade with SD Card and eRecovery... Does somebody have any idea...
I cant find anything
If someone could help please, tell how.

If you will contact the people at DC Unlocker and explain what you did or tried to do they will be more than willing to help you. Had a problem not being able to find the generated unlock code and was emailed exactly what I needed to do. Give them a try. I hope you have downloaded the DC Unlocker app from the Playstore

Since ASUS changed its website since 2014 and changed the way you unlock your device, I have been trying to unlock my tablet with the unlock tool for TF701t. (Which btw is going out of warranty next week). I've been getting "Invalid Password" message! Password is correct. Does anyone know how to get pass this issue. What am I doing wrong? The firmware is on the most current one. I'm dumb founded??? Please help. Thank You.

Sorry for the question! Solved the problem - You have to delete google account in tablet before using unlock tool.
When checking off the agreement and question and you hit the unlock button - the tool will notice you don't have a google account and it will ask you if you want to proceed to unlock the tablet - Say "Yes" and you are good to go.
I spent hours trying to unlock this tablet!

Thanks, this helped me, too! I had to do a factory reset to delete the Google account because I couldn't find the delete button. But ultimately, this allowed me to run the unlock tool.
Hello guys, it seems that the asus support for the TF701 is over(unlock tool get no connection anymore) and i have not found any solution to unlock the bootloader .
Has anyone an ides what else i can try?

you'll have to keep waiting.. u can try using firmware finder, it doesnt use root, research about it.
but i've read from many users, even if it downloads the updated firmware, it wont install and will just occupy ur storage space
learn where to find the folder and delete the downloaded package, just in case if u try it...

I tried the Oreo update and I live in Turkey too. EMUI 8 is way better than EMUI 5, it's just that you can't install viper4android on EMUI 8 yet, so I don't use it. If you really want to try the Oreo I can help you with that.

Dude if you cant unlock your bootloader no one can help you sorry You have to wait for official update or get your unlock code from huawei

The website that you get your unlock code from is no longer working. There are some people that got their code from huawei via e-mail but I don't know how they did it. Can't help you with that either sorry
I contacted them via their contact form asking for an unlock code to unlock my FRP.
You need to tell them your
- Model number
- IMEI1
- IMEI2
- Serial number
- Product ID
Response was very fast but they double checked if I really want to do this and told me about lost warranty and so on which stalled the process a bit.
To get your Bootloader unlocked you can tweet Huawei UK on Twitter and they'll reply to you.
Just mention them in a tweet saying that you need your unlock code after that they'll follow you back and DM you then you give them your information.
It took about 3 days to get mine.
I'm on LineageOS 14 (PRA-LX1, flashed with TWRP), and would like to get treble. Is it even possible anymore (since no more unlock codes are given)?
If you have your unlock code, yes it is.

You can try sending an email to Huawei saying you are a developer,someone did this with the original P8 Lite recently on the XDA forums,you just need to send your IMEI,Serial Number and things like that,it is 50% chance you will get the code though.
Or get the code with DC Unlocker which is paid software but it will work.

install DC Unlocker software and follow the steps
hello everybody!
i bricked my Mi 8 like other thousands of users flashing global rom since chinese rom (i selected "clean all and lock" by accident).
I have been searching for a solution for weeks now but it seems that the only way is to get an authorized account to be able to bring back to life our devices.
It is redicolous that we have to pay to unlock our phones, anyway, i am searching for people with the same problem to buy multiple accounts for cheaper.

Forget that sh*t. Write this guy and ask him to help you. He has already helped more than 400 people I think and he's doing exactly the same than s-unlock bast*rds but for free, just to help. Honestly I think he deserves a donation if he helps you (like I donated when he helped me) but he will never tell you nothing about it. I truly admire him. @NikSalsa

You really have to. EDL cable doesn't work. By the way it looks like the guy I quoted in my previous post has set a web to charge for the service, sad. You can write him anyway and see what he answers.

yeah i contacted him and he sent me the link of the website, he basically provides the same service like s-unlock.com, just for cheaper, about 16 euros. I will go for that, it is the only solution.

The difference is that EDL authorization doesn't require to open the phone.

And when i will flash a new rom in Miflash says "Erase boot error"
In MiPCSuite have some error when i try to recovery...

You need to open your cellphone and do the TESTPOINT for enable the COM PORT on your computer, the EDL mode. The next move is to flash with Miflash program and will ask you the ID verification, this ID only developers guys have.
But, they charge a value to do this service, which is to only authenticate on your computer, I have the contact of it if you want I can pass you, is a Brazilian.

I am just as suffering from being fooled into purchasing a locked smartphone. But, I received a lot of help on this forum. I thank everyone. Mostly thanks to @NikSalsa MOD EDIT:link removed for the attention and support :Boa:. I believe one of the goals of this forum is to promote help, solutions and problem solving. And in this way fraternal actions arise. Something rare today. About services charged I think fair, as well as donation that I will make for sure. Hey, I had the problem that my Mi8 China version with Global ROM was brick. After spending hours trying to test some of the possibilities and guesses of others. Unfortunately they all ended without success.
So i have addressed MOD EDIT: link removed under Telegeram. If necessary it is also reachable via Whatsapp under MOD EDIT: number removed.
He has explained with the steps what I need everything and after everything was downloaded it takes barely 5 minutes and my Mi8 started again.
Of course you can try all the instructions online or contact @remote_repair98 very fast.

On Mi 8 if your fastboot is still available, try issuing 'fastboot oem edl'.
This reboots my unlocked Mi8 into EDL mode without opening the back.
Tool https://github.com/bkerler/edl (thanks to Bjorn) has edl programmer included that doesnt require auth for this phone (poco loader in matched automatically) and allows for programming cmds.
You can either use this QDL or QFIL to download required firmware. Only stock firmware will boot if bootloader in locked.
Perhaps this will help someone.

hello my device has been bricked for a year now i think could you help me im not a total nooby but is it possible to restore it it only goes into edl and xiaomi has locked my account i did flash + lock by accident ...

there was some technical jargon i couldn't understand if i wont trouble you too much can i dm you on telegram or something i wont ask too much questions
So I decided to find the unlock code for my Huawei P20 Pro, and to find it I need to enable manufacture mode for USB settings. I tried to do that but it did not work, reporting "Not support at this state!". If I close the window, the changes do not save. What state - I didn't get it, if someone can explain to me what am I doing wrong and if someone can help me with finding the code, I'll be glad with any help I get.

well it worked out of nowhere for some reason (and i tried to unlock the BOOTloader not my SIM, and I switched to a different phone for now.)

No, I sold off the P20 Pro. Stuck with my P20 lite, kind of regret my decision, as it was a chinese model and now it has harmonyOS support...
