Same issue
I have the same issue with the VOG-AL10 except I updated my EMUI version to 9.1. Im unable to find stock firmware for the VOG-AL10 to downgrade to test if it's what's causing the issue, but I've uninstalled all possible default apps and via appgallery package manager and am still failing SafetyNet Check.

You shouldn't have purchased the Chinese versions if you want SafetyNet.
There is no Google, and therefore no SafetyNet on phones intended for sale in Mainland China. This is nothing new. Don't try to save a few bucks by getting a Chinese version unless you know what you're buying and root + Magisk are documented possibilities.

Making baseless assumptions honestly isn't going to help anyone. Fwiw, I didn't have much of a say in the matter so I'm just trying to make the best out of the situation. Here's what I get when I run SafetyNet Check with the latest versions of: Google Play Services, Google Play Store and Google Services Framework. I'm likely just going to wait to see if ppl ever release VOG-AL10 firmwares for download, although I'm not sure if the original stock firmware will even fix the issue.
EDIT: nvm, can't post a picture, but essentially the following checks fail:
APK Package name match
Signing Certificate match
CTS Profile match
Basic Integrity

The only way to make it pass safetynet is to get rooted and use magisk as for all phones sold for Mainland China market. There is no other way to get it working (or pay and use Funky Huawei to "unbrand" your phone and change firmware region).
Good luck.

I have used https://github.com/Szaki/XiaomiADBFastbootTools to uninstall all Xiaomi bloatware but I'm still seeing the mistat contacting its server every minute, maybe because I blocked it and it keeps on retrying. I wonder which Xiaomi bloatware I have to disable to turn this off?

I have the same problem, it appears to be draining battery, as it was the phone very often.

Find Device can't be debloated by ADB and if you remove/hide its apk (systemlessly or not), you get bootloop:
/system/priv-app/FindDevice/FindDevice.apk
The best you can do is to logout from the stock Find Device - from time to time it will complain that using Find Device would be safer
Edit:
Btw, not sure if/how data.mistat intl.xiaomi is related to FindDevice (com.xiaomi.finddevice)

It's related to Xiaomi Service Framework. Freezing or removing it (which I don't think is possible, at least not via the Debloat tool) will result in a bootloop.

Ever managed to boot into MIUI after doing so? In my case China beta, China stable, Global stable and xiaomi.eu bootloop. XSF is like GSM, except that a lot of OS components rely on it in order to work properly. Also (ironically) every connection to Alibaba servers is done through XSF.

Get magisk from a legit site first? Magisk is only a root solution. Doesn't bundle any apps or change regions or language of the phone and the only site that has it is github, topjohnwu's magisk repo..

Well, buy it. It is actually a thing with Samsung phones, just like when certain carrier SIM cards are inserted, only apps and features for said carrier shows up, and are removed automatically when a a different carrier SIM is inserted.
And I don't even own a Samsung phone, but is in the know about them.

Only for you my friend. I have a Note 3 and 2 Note 8's at home and no issues with magisk. You downloaded a modified magisk zip for sure
Just wipe your whole phone and install a custom rom
BTW the github for magisk zips is this one:
https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases
[MOD EDIT: QUOTED POST REMOVED]
Have: A7, a A70, J7 2018, Note 1, 2x Note 3, 2x Note 8, a Note 10.
I think I know what I'm talking about.

Is your bootloader unloacked? If you have unlocked your bootloader, you can flash the EEA rom or Global rom or flash TWRP and install a Xiaomi.eu rom. All of those allow for regional changes in setup.
I'd advise you to just get the Xiaomi.EU Rom. Just pick the Stable one IMO

Is there no way to resolve it without flashing the ROM? I am little apprehensive about flashing the ROM as I have not done the before
Have you tried more locale 2 app from play store? If not, you give it a try

It's the version of GMS that gets installed by some shops before shipping. It doesn't have location tracing and a few others and really is not much use if you are outside China. As others have said, get your bootloader unlocked, wait the 168 hours and change over to the EU ROM. Pop over to the EU forum for all the pro's and downloads but everyone here will help if they can and most users post on both forums. https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/21-7-21-22.62299/

Glad you have found a way around your country settings. You may well find other shortcomings in the mini GMS too. Only resolution is to flash a full GMS included ROM. But as long as your needs are catered for, it's all good.

Question How to gain root access PLUS pass Safety Net

Hi All,
Received this phone a couple of weeks ago and have successfully unlocked the bootloader. I've also obtained root access, but have never been able to pass SafetyNet. The traditional methods do nothing. Have made various attempts using suggestions here on XDA, as well as searching Google, but each and every one results in an "Attestation Failed" message.
Some posts state to use the Magisk canary build and then hide Magisk as well as verifying SafetyNet. Unfortunately, the canary build doesn't provide an option to check the SafetyNet, nor is there any way to hide Magisk, nor hide any Google services/apps. The MagiskHide Props Config also has never worked for me either. Even when selecting Pixel 3A which supposedly was passing the old SafetyNet attestation method.
So, does anyone have or know of any root method that actually works correctly for the Redmi Note 10 Pro?
Cheers and Happy New Year,
Amy

Probably because the bootloader is unlocked and the play store not certified.
If your device is a Chinese version you cannot lock the bootloader (brick) with a Global, EEA, etc. version.
Root +magisk hide necessary.
For other versions locking possible with Miflash.
Or
Install these Roms (based on china ,stable or Weekly) you will have the play store certified without root and without locking the bootloader.

I've already done some procedure to hide magisk, like installing safetyNet Fiz, Shamiko and Airfrozen
I saw some things as soon as there are some modules that solve this problem, like the play store visa or vending visa, but if there is another module that can help me?

Did you try Magisk Beta which can be activated from the classic apps.
