Huawei P30 PRO RAW/DNG samples - Huawei P30 Pro Questions & Answers

Hello everyone.
I'm debating whether to buy the P30 Pro or not, but I don't want to make the decision until I see some RAW photos from its camera.
I find it crazy that there isn't a single RAW/DNG photo available for download on the entire internet and I've been searching for them for them far and wide.
Can a good soul among you who owns the P30 Pro provide me with a couple of different photos? I'm mainly interested in the main 40 megapixel sensor, so you don't have to bother with samples from the other two sensors if it's too much of a hassle for you.
Thank you!

I have no idea how to process RAW files, but here's one (78MB). Colors are way off, at least in my preview

Thank you, my good man.
Well, it's normal that the colors are off, you are supposed to adjust them to your own liking since that is one of the main reasons to shot in RAW.

If you want to color-correct the main camera I found that pulling the tones of red, orange and yellow to around -40 is a good start. Also pulling the green curve in the darks a little into purple and it almost looks real.

You can use DNG processor to auto process your picture in the background after taking RAW shots. Check out DNG Processor

Firefox Send has discontinued
I have been struggling to find a Huawei raw file as well. Unfortunately firefox send has been discontinued so I was unable to access these files. Would it be possible to access these files in another way?
Thanks in advances!

Of topic (I really don't know about raw, but every photographer does say raw photography does have the most beautiful end result in most ways.... So I have to learn about it).
But does anyone know why it's recommended, with the p30 pro, to have image size of photos in 4:3 instead of full image?
Why is 4:3 recommended?
I like the full view much better whioe shooting a picture, but if its less better I don't do it anymore.
Thanks for your time.

Camera issue with JB roms

I have been trying out JB roms lately and really them but I have a problem with my camera apps, mainly Camera FV-5 & Camera Pro.
The problem is that they load fine but when looking at the screen the preview of what I am going to take the photo of is only about 2/3 size of the screen and then there is a black border for the rest of the screen, I rely on my camera so I have to be able to see the whole screen.
The roms I have tried are BlackCNA v2.1 & PARANOIDANDROID 2.17 [Utacka]
Any help would be appreciated.
Oh is it possible to have the Galaxy note 2 gallery in these roms?

It looks like the previous are borrowed from the stock camera which leaves room for the settings and shutter.
Do you see your pictures correctly in gallery?

Thanks for the reply, I haven't taken any photo's, mmm I must have worded it wrong for lack of a better word, what I mean is the area of the screen you look at when you take a photo

Is this normal?Purple glare on my pictures

Here i have an example of the ugly purple glare on my pictures(look behind the sign on the bridge)
I hate this purple glare because the rest of the picture looks great i think....
I could not see it until in adjusted the saturation in photoshop, it might be what is called purple fringing.

Thx
So do everybody has this on the htc one?
Best regards
I have not taken many photo`s but i have seen it myself, it happens on virtually all camera`s even the most expensive dslr`s they usually remove it using internal software, it can be removed using image processing software on your computer.

Try this free software, try the colour and luna filters, it seems to reduce the purple fringing.

Are you guys using 4:3 mode? I assume that's native for this camera? Having a hard time finding info on it.
Thanks
4:3 is native.
16:9 is cut of at the sides.

Not sure what you mean. I clicked it with OP3 and processed it with Snapseed. Mostly tweaked the exposure.
This is a very low light shot in Auto mode (The ISO shows ISO 3200) which is super impressive for a cell phone camera.

Love your pictures @smartcoder! Well done!
Was just testing the camera with random objects. I had a s5 before and felt that s5 clicked better pics than OP3. It's still pretty decent though
Just wanted to show an image with some higher motion. It's also cropped. This was on OOS 3.1.3.
Took on my trip
Pretty good camera

very bad 4k video quality after copying it to PC

I took a 4k video with my P20 Pro and it looks great when watching it on the phone. However, after copying the file to my PC the video looks very bad.
Any Idea why?
Thanks
Same issue
I had the same problem. Took this thing in a fashion video shoot with my gh4 and got the footage onto the Mac and was like whooooa! Pure blurry mess when up sized. Shot in the 4k mode mine was. Not happy.

VCS forum LG G8 and G8s camera review

G8 and G8s have the highest score in VCS benchmarks. It's a different result than DXO benchmarks.

Yep. Also theirs camera test is explained and it seems more professional than dxomark... Also this explains why my lg v50 took better pics when compared it side by side with iphone 11 pro max, note 10 plus and p 30 pro.

Its intresting to see the image comparison between 2 phones by dragging the image point area to diffrent locations, at the bottom of page.

I always use stock. Stock lg camera is what 1 millions filmic pros for iPhone are. Best Pro Grade Software. I'm more and more using manual camera for photos and videos. Locking white balancing, setting the ISo to 61-100 when shooting 4k60fps and many many tricks. By far focus peeking is the best feature ever.
I've installed gcam only to play with the marvels ar stickers.
I've been a log-time LG user and I just bought a G8S, following on from my G7. I also bought a Huawei P30 for my daughter, so I've been able to compare the phones side-by-side.
There's a lot to like about the G8S; gorgeous display (although notch is a little large), good size, premium feel, good battery life. Having used the camera on the P30 I realise that LG's cameras leave a lot to be desired, so it was interesting to see how highly the LGs are rated by VCS.
For me the biggest problem with the LGs is colour saturation and white balance. I like nice bright colours, but the colours from the LGs are far too saturated and the white balance (and hence saturation) varies far too much as you change the framing. The same applies to the G7 and the G8S. I noting this outside with fluorescent-looking grass, but it's particularly bad indoors where everything looks too red. I know I can use manual mode, or use different filters, but this isn't necessary with the P30. The camera app the P30 is generally much better than LG's, being more responsive and with better auto mode.

VCS just use a static test with manual mode, good to compare overall lenses and sensor quality, but not camera experience in general!
It's not the best way to test a camera., for example Mi9 has great scores but it lacks OIS...that makes real life night shots a mess.
Hi, Could you guys who have this phone tell me if it supports "Cine video" for all lenses or just for the main one?
