[Q] google account not connecting

Hello! i have an experia z (obviously) and a long while ago i changed my password on my google account. A few days ago, i was doing something (i dont remember what) and it said that it cannot access my google account. so i went into settings and removed the account and tried to relog in. but now all im getting is a screen saying it cannot get a stable connection to the server and asks me to use wifi for more stability. Sadly, i was already using wifi so i still went through the guided setup to select my wifi and try again. still didnt work. so i turned off wifi and used my 4g and it still wouldn't let me log in. So now im trying to troubleshoot ways to log in because i have none of my contacts and stuff like that.
it still lets me log into the account in the browser window and in the gmail app and in the email account setting in account. just not in the guided setup for making it the primary account. (i tried to add it as email and sync to think "just maybe it will work" but it only syncs emails :X)
my device is rooted and using stock rom
Here are things I've tried to do (some are from suggestions online that aparently helped others):
Reboot phone
remove data/cache from google play store
uninstall updates for google play
unchecking auto time
checking auto time
making sure time is right
checked for software updates
restarted phone, took sims card out and tried logging in
tried to log in through youtube app (which goes through the says black screened log in guide)
turned on airplane mode, turned off phone, turned it back on, then tried wifi and data again.
and i think that is all i have tried. But it tried alot of things so im not sure. Once again. i can log into the account on my phone in other places just not in this black windowed log in guide and yes im typing in the right password and username... i can add pictures if needed.
Bump also tried factory reset and going to website and did the trouble shooting guide. Still nothing
Bump threw phone at wall and drowned it in tub. Still not doing it
Also I called customer service. And like I assumed, all he did was tell me to reset cache and data and restart device. Then asked if I could try to factory reset and then couldn't find any other solutions. So im stuck

[Q] "can't Connect To Server" (PLEASE HELP)

So, i've had my att s5 for a few months now. It worked fine, no problems at all. But when I got Kitkat 4.4.4, every Google related refused to work. Play Store, Youtube, Chrome, you name it. I tried a whole list of things to try to fix it, including resetting time and date, uninstalling updates, clearing cache, the whole 9 yards. Now i've reset my phone to factory settings, which took a lot to do for me. So I select wifi, agree to the terms and conditions, then TRY to login to my Google account. But now it always tells me that it can't maintain a stable connection. All of my other devices work fine with my wifi, and I even went to a friend's house to try. No luck. At this point my phone is bricked, and need some help. If you have any idea whats going on, or how to fix it, please let me know. Thanks!

[Q] Problems with Google Accounts after Updating with Root

Hello!
The other day, after updating my Phone to ATT's latest firmware, I realized my root access had been removed. That was the least of my problems, however. I then realized that I couldn't use the Google Play store, as an error would show up saying No Connection. I learned it was a problem with freedom, so I attempted to fix it, but instead settled with wiping my device to get a new start. After backing up my data, I performed a factory reset, and began setting up the device.
Basically, what I'm building up to, is that when I attempted to sign in, an error came up saying Can't establish a reliable connection to the server. I have tried using 2 different WiFi connections and cellular data. I performed a factory reset both through the Samsung settings, and through the Android "Terminal" Accessed through Pressing Home and Volume up during start up. I have nowhere to turn! What can I do to regain connections to the Google servers, or convince my phone that it can connect?

Since you've already wiped your phone and don't have to worry about losing data I would just reflash the firmware.

Only SSL connections are loading

TL;DR
Upgraded Android to latest on T-Mobile, only SSL connections load. Also can't send MMS messages. Factory reset after the upgrade, still having issues. No idea what causes it, but rebooting the phone sometimes makes the issues go away for a while (might as well be running Windows). The issues seem to happen at random but all happen at once and don't go away once they start.
I have an odd issue that after a little bit of Googling, I haven't been able to find anything on (outside of app developers forgetting the internet permission in their manifest file). I held off on upgrading my phone from 5.0.1 AOC9 for a long time because I had rooted it right after the release and I just never got around to it when others confirmed they could root newer versions. Everything was working until I decided to use Smart Switch to upgrade from AOC9 to the latest 5.1.1 DOJC. After the upgrade I used Odin to flash TWRP and Unikernel for root and it worked fine for a few hours until I noticed I could no longer send MMS messages (receiving them works perfectly fine). I also noticed certain apps would tell me I had no network connection and I knew this was wrong because apps like Facebook were still working perfectly fine on 4G and my WiFi. Eventually I started clicking links from Facebook and noticed some would load and others wouldn't. It took a few links to notice that anything that wasn't loading over an SSL connection would give the message "This site can't be reached. $SITE refused to connect. ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED"
After all of those issues started happening I finally got pissed enough to factory reset, forgot about FRP and had to factory reset again using Smart Switch. I flashed TWRP/Unikernel again and I'm right back to having the issues. Has anyone ever come across anything like this before? I'm getting frustrated enough that I might just swap out the sim and use my G3 for a while until I can sort this out. If there is any kind of log I can post that will help I can post that as well. I tried using adb logcat while attempting to open a site that fails, but I didn't see anything that looked useful. Just calls to my keyboard and chrome opening.
EDIT: Completely forgot to try pinging. I am able to ping any normal HTTP site from a terminal emulator. They're all reachable from my phone. I came across a post from a Comcast customer with a similar issue, although not for Android specifically. The work around was to connect to a VPN service, so I also tried this. Still no luck.

Setup seems to go in circles after battery replacement

I have an issue with my SM-T813 after battery replacement. One issue is that it keeps rebooting unless I connect it via USB to a laptop. So without an active USB connection I will not be able to complete the intial setup because it reboots. If I have an active connection I can work but then I have another issue. It reports that a factory reset has been prevented and wants me to sign in with an existing account. So the FDR flow. That by itself is not an issue. I know the old account, enter the password, confirm via TFA on another device using this account but then it simply goes back to the login screen. So I'm sort of stuck. I cannot go to the the configuration to unlock the device for flashing an new recovery. Any suggestions? I tried different FDR bypass options but none of them seem to work.
