any alternatives for dash car charging

So unfortunately the dash car charging is out of stock on the one plus site. And I can't find anywhere else that sells them. Is there any other options for dash charging while in the car?.
There is a seller on eBay who has them but they're going for $50+. Not ideal but if you just can't wait...

I have never used this site so i dont know. :/ Its also out of stock, just wait oneplus site to get back stock end of this month like me.
You could buy a power inverter off of Amazon for $29 and just use the regular Dash charger that came with the phone. Not ideal, but if you really need something now it'll work perfect.

You can simply buy OPPO VOOC Car Charger for 30 bucks,
It works. Since dash charge is just an alternate name of OPPO VOOC

Can anyone confirm this? Has anyone actually used the OPPO chargers? That would be awesome if we can get that fast charging battery pack that OPPO makes for our phones.

I will confirm it myself,
This was done by using OPPO VOOC + Mi USB C converter.
You can see the dash charging indicator there

This (screenshot attached) was sold for IDR 400K++ in my country,
So it's even less than USD30,
It would charge at 3,5A max. Not as fast as wall charger but well....
Try ebay or aliexpress

It is preferable due to that it is the only car charger that has the dash chsrge. You could get the vooc variant aswell but its more expensive when added together.
Are there any dash charge car chargers with more than one usb output? It's the only thing holding me back since I have to also keep my dashboard camera plugged into my single car charger slot.
I currently run a Blitzwolf charger in the miata. Small enough that I don't hit it with my hand and it has the built in cable along with +1 USB port

You could hardwire your dash cam, rather than having it plugged In all the time.

I have mine on one of these since I have two ports but I have a dash cam, a radar detector, and this charger, works great
if that won't fit in your car though, you can also try this one (have this in another car):

hi all toghether,
have you checked with how much mA the OnePlus 3 is charged with your chargers?
I have a car charger with 2,4 A output. But it charges only with about 1,3 - 1,4 A.
It would be very interesting how the current charge is with the named Blitzwolf wich has 3A output.
I use "Elixir 2" from the Playstore to show the current charging.
Thank you for checking and posting your results.
never heard of Elixir 2 but I would try Ampere or Battery Monitor Widget
I've only used it a handful of times, but I got 30% charge in 15 minutes so it's on par with the wall dash charger for me
yes you are right! The Elixir 2 is only an example. Your mentioned app should be very similar.
What charger are you using?

APLUS DASH car charger works

I had been waiting for aftermarket Dash charging products and found a car charger on Amazon listed for $17.99
It works perfectly fine and "Dash" charges.
It comes with a Dash charging cable as well.
There were a couple other identical ones by different names but this one already had some positive reviews.
Update: It looks like the"APLUS" ones are out of stock. However, these LULUTEK ones are identical, just with a different label. They have really good reviews as well.
LULUTEK Dash Car Charger with Super Speed Charging Technology 5V 4A for Dash System OnePlus 3 OnePlus 3T OnePlus 5 Dash Charging, Qualcomm 3.0 Quick Charge Devices, Huawei, OPPO, HTC and More

76.93$ on Amazon Canada. Ugh. Sometimes I hate our Amazon so much.
Seems identical to the Baozu ones on Aliexpress, which perfectly too fyi.
Can I use any type c cable to get the fast charge capabilities, or does it have to be the red OnePlus made cable??

That's one hell of a markup.
Is it USB 3.0 ish female type-A port? I have a few QC2.0/3.0 branded car chargers and combining with a "magic" QC2DASH converter, dash charger comes from my car
You still have to use a Dash capable cable.
However, you can find aftermarket Dash cables on eBay and Amazon for like $6.
This one actually comes with a Dash charger cable. Not bad for $17.99

that was my first test after receiving the convertor and phone battery was 80%-ish.
Here is another test with Power bank output 18W goes into convertor and 5volt/3A into phone.
I do a lot of charging test and measuring for fun. and this suit me Better than Most common 5v/4A circuit design from eBay /Chinese knock off car charger in Low budget
Google : YZXstudio ( if you are interested in the convertor )
It seemed that most of the devices that would charge at 5V/3A via USB-C to USB-C cable on my Nexus 5X, would only charge at about 2.4A on the OP5T.

That's the official car charger by OnePlus correct?
I'm wondering if this APLUS one is a safe bet. The Fakespot on their Dash cable on Amazon has a C rating.
For the OP, is this APLUS one legit... or would I be better off looking into the VOOC chargers that I know are the exact same technology?

No, the silver car charger in the adapter is QC3.0 from ZMI brand, along with QC2DASH convertor and charging meter when I first have it tested.
So just in case anyone is interested, here is ampere on the OEM wall charger that came with my phone (1st picture 3300 mA) as well as the Aplus dash car charger (2nd pic 3440). Interestingly the Aplus charger seems to charge ever so slightly faster, with a little more voltage and mA. I haven't noticed any issues with heat or anything else so far. I'm pretty happy with it, especially for the price.
now, if they would re-stock them...

Wireless Charger

I finally bought a mi mix 2s and now I wonder which wireless charger I should use with it. In the datasheet it says it supports 7.5W wireless charging. https://www.gearbest.com/chargers-cables/pp_1382334.html would this one be a good decision since it says 10W?
xiaomi's own wireless charger is also 5v2A and 9v2A supprot.

I guess every charger support these two mode are all fit this phone.
but the charging speed is half of QC3.0 wired charger.

Meizu 19$ 10W but I don't find where I can buy one
old Nokia DT-900 wireless charger working fine. around 2,5 hours for full charge (predictable on screen while charging but for real time must testing)
No issues with the Anker 10W pad. I like that it lights up for a bit when you lay the phone down but then goes dark to be unobtrusive.

Can i use my samsung wireless charger for mix 2s?
Every wireless charger that supports Qi standard up to 10 W max output will work with our phones..
I have different ones around here, from very cheap to the latest, all different brands all work fine. The cheap one since it's not a Quick Charge does take longer to charge the battery full but that's expected.
