Which settings? If you mean flash, HDR, grid, etc. It should be on the round bubble with the 3 dot menu which is located on the bottom right of your screen. If you're asking about the camera features like photo sphere, panorama, lens blur (Which is new) etc. You can swipe from the left side of your screen to the right in order to see them.

Just found the exposure settings in the advanced settings. You need to enable it. There are two picture above this post that shows you where the settings are.

It seems timer and time lapse function is no more in this camera build. Atleaset none that I could find.
Think I'll revert back to stock camera for now. :e

pictures are pretty freaking good.. and the blur feature is pretty nice

With front camera, take some pics with a lot of friends, it's horrible to catch and have a nice position

I like the quality control on panaroma

the option of the Timer & Countdown

Blurry photos, no focus on shutter press.....meh

Built in Greenify??

Whoa, even tells you which apps consume battery while the screen is off. Android Wear is on top.

Wish we could auto stop Facebook and Instagram.

This feature seems to have been removed in the latest OTA, DOH6

Damn, that's too bad. The mix between this feature and using greenify, seemed to be a good pair. Actually, all in all, the built in worked better for some reason for me, but we shall see lol

It's still here for me after today's update.

I'm on T-Mobile but I don't see this option. Where do you find it? I don't appear to have RAM managements settings.
I'm running 5.1.1 stock.

Ah, found it. It's not under Settings. It's the Smart Manager app.

Where is this screen at? I can't seem to find it. With the newest update it is auto closing apps that shouldn't be closed, Like google music. I have to continuously press play again every time I turn on my screen or shut it off.

Disable Edge Screen from Lockscreen?

Does anyone know how or if you can disable your edge screen from showing up on the lock screen? I can flip through my edge pages and I wouldn't want people to be able to see my favorite contacts etc. You can't unlock the phone but you can scroll through every edge page. Annoying.

Open the settings for each edge screen. You can hide the contents with a toggle in the advance setting in the upper right.
If it doesn't have one then you should ask the dev to put one in.

Thanks, appears it doesn't work with any of the default edge apps. I'll just shut the edge off, I guess. It says you can not show People edge on the lockscreen but toggling it off does nothing, they still show up. I'd rather not have people have access to my favorite contacts, etc. I'll have to live without the edge until they fix stuff I guess.

Did a restart and no effect. Looks like it is something Samsung overlooked. Giving info on this kind of stuff is hard. Would rather pull teeth.

Yeah it would be a colossal waste of time trying. They keep you on hold for 4 hours as it is.

That's a odd issue, mine clearly states that I have to unlock my phone in order to view edge contacts.

Then you are one of the lucky ones.
I figured it out. Since I have smartlock turned on with my watch my lock screen doesn't actually lock. If I turn off my watch(or disconnect it) screen locks and I can't see the info.

You don't have to use smart lock. I only use it in car. Iris works really fast when you grab the phone.

When smartlock is on and connected to that item the edge display will show content because the phone never locks. Once it is away from what smartlock is connected to then it hides the content.

Take picture but cannot share?

Probably a dumb question, but when I take a picture I cannot see an option to share the image unless I open the gallery app. I'm sure one could and an inage directly after it was taken via the camera?

If you've opened the camera without unlocking the phone the share button will not be there since the device is not unlocked. Once you unlock and view in gallery it should be available to share.

Can you please explain further about un locking the phone part. I don't have any locks on my phone. I simply went into my home screen then clicked on Camera to launch camera. Once I launch camera from the home screen , I take a picture, but there is no option to share.

Then it should be available to you. The only time it's not available that I'm aware of is when you have a lock set an the phone is locked but you hit the power button twice to quick launch the camera. In that instance the share feature doesn't show up.

The options to share do not appear in that list on my phone. Touch anywhere on the picture you just took and options should appear along the bottom of the picture, the share button should be on there.

Thanks it's there , but for some reason mines got a black bar covering it. Some images one cannot even see the buttons on the bottom. The one attached is one that is slightly more visible. I'm thinking perhaps it might be Substratum causing this. .

Chocolate Daddy , are you on sprint with an unlocked Note 9 or Sprint branded Note 9?
RCS doesn't work on unlocked devices with Sprint. Like mine.
Edit. You are on a Sprint model. I think it could be due to Sprint's volte network updates maybe that's why it stopped working for you temporary.

Lol, oddly enough, using that app is how I finally got it to work on my note 8. Somehow it was hung up in that app when I used it previously. Trying the same but hasn't worked. I don't want to break the wife's lol so I'm staying away from it on her phone

Guess what, it was the wife's phone after all.
Her messages app was 3.5gb in storage, with only a few text. I have 15k texts and only used 30 MB. So something was up there.
I deleted storage, uninstalled updates. Did OTA update. And it worked after restart when I registered the chat setting.
I knew it wasn't my phone at fault since I have other contacts in my phone with chat enabled.
