Some people are wrong response this phone battery but it's not right.
This phone is great and powerful battery life i have tested on my
p10 plus and i really love it.

mine seem to have bad drain for overnight....100% charged....left overnight with airplane mode on and wake up left 85% or some time 80%...
not sure why the doze mode didn't kick in..

This seems to be a common problem with the p10 and p10 plus. If you think about it older phones that didn't have doze mode didn't behave like this. Well, in my experience anyway.

i have Nexus 6P and it can sleep like a baby during the night...only like 2-4% drain..

Yes it can be but wait a custom rom can help or a Huawei update it.
Its not a problem with phone.
It's software problem. Ok
I've had this phone for around 2 weeks and only managed to get 6 hours sot max (mix Wifi Lte, wifi only, Lte only)
Suddenly today got updated via OTA to b124 and...
88 percent remaining with 1.30 hrs sot is crazy efficient. Admittedly this is 100% on WiFi, but before b124 100% Wifi only getting me 6+ hours sot.
Will try mix Wifi Lte tomorrow and see the difference.

Your baby is single sim and p10-plus dual sim dual hardware and simple is single system using battery ? low power and the dual system is used battery ? more power consuming ok.
And your phone software is perfect and the P10/plus software needs to be more work to Huawei. Ok
And finally you said it's baby. Ok
But i think p10 plus is not a baby it's a father. Ok
So need more work to be done.

My P10 plus has not this bug
Mate 9 had disappointing battery life considering the size of it when it first released as well. After a couple of software updates it's doing great. Suspect this one will be the same. Hope so as I've just ordered a p10 plus to replace it.

I just got this phone yesterday and am half way through my day starting from a full charge. So far seems in line with what I'd expect from a 3750mah battery. Will probably chuck up some screens in a couple of days once it's been broken in a bit.

5 hours screen on time for me. Pretty poor when compared to the Mate 9. Trying to weigh up if I should just stick with that phone.

Jesus man m.kk just don't **** with us. Why do you open up a thread when all you do is telling us fake ****?!?
It's just not possible to get 7.5 hours sot with normal usage.
The percentage of ur used apps tells me that u just switched ur display off time to 10 minutes and just didn't do anything with your phone.
Some whatsapps every now and then but that's it.
U just left ur display on until the bat was flat.
No one can get that sot with normal usage like some calls, internet, WhatsApp , music and some apps.
Not with the p10 plus hardware

Yah well if he really is getting that then he needs to get a life and do other things apart from playing with his phone all day. P10 plus battery is ok, not amazing, but good enough to get most people through a day.
The Mate 9 is the one to get if 6-7 hours sot is important.

9 hours on less than 10%, playing some heavy games on this phone though. Not PUBG level but it's up there alright, running at 60FPS and consumes some heavy battery.

I get upto 15 hours on wifi+single sim. with normal usage like Browsing, youtube whatsapp facebook etc
This is what i get..... 12-13 hrs in total.....
Dot os v2.4 official with raw work kernel.
12+ stock rooted. Dual sim . Mobile data. If wifi 14+ can be achieved

Your MX player is consuming way more battery than it should be , for a usage of 1h 38 min it should not consume more than 7-9% of battery as I have experienced till now on this handset

The battery consumption does depend on the time viewed/used ... Agreed; But it also depends on the brightness used while viewing videos which depends person to person.
I can relate to it as I have noticed improvements in SOT after disabling adaptive brightness and keeping it fixed to 25% brightness for all tasks

Though I am not so heavy user, I use above mid level. I recommend the following.
1. Charge your phone for only for 3 hours and when it's below 20%
2. Screen brightness 50%
3. Rotation off
It's amazing how much we actually use our phones in a given day, especially when we watch "videos"! Rate this thread to express how many hours of screen-on time you can get on the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 before depleting the battery.

While I expecting less screen on time than M1(cuz SD660), but surprisingly I get same screen on time like I had on M1. Good job Asus

Also we would be glad to know about how is the network coverage in your area.
This question arises as a lot of discussions are going on relating the battery drain issue to the sim network connectivity.

so far so good. mostly wifi on, minor gaming ang browsing. barely used mobile data. installed greenify.

On screen time depends on how you use your device. If you use it for intensive processor task expect it to be less like that. Do you game? Do you have mobile Data turned on. Do you have tunneling apps? Do you have a lot of background monitoring apps? Do you have launchers? Then expect the battery on screen time to be less.
I get 10-11 hrs of screen time when i use it only for texts calls and browsing through wifi. Else. Lower.

Stop playing pubg like more than 2 hours
Amazing battery backup overnight discharge is only 4 percent. 12 hrs sot mind blowing. Still 10 percent remaining will give one more hour of sot on pie beta

Install cpu spy to check the frequencies of cpu, there was a bug sometime before which was stucking at 1404 mhz.

Your phone it stays too much time at 633mhz from an application or a service and probably this is the reason for battery draining. Try a factory reset and check the sot after this.

I feel dark mode is eating more battery then light mode now.
I changed to light and getting around 5 - 6 hours SOT now with full on 120htz, 5g, wqhd , Bluetooth and stuff.
Location permissions are normally the culprits.
I also have smart tag and stuff.
2 years On I am still happy with it although I used to get 7-9 hours SOT before.
I try change myself and yes dark mode eat more battery then light mode.
Before update to android 13 i had a good battery life on my device now it's terrible...
Samsung don't fix it so we have to live with it or root the device..

Yes, after i change to white mod i almost got a full day whiteout charge the phone.
