Xiaomi mi8 on lineage os bootloop after encryption - Xiaomi Mi 8 Questions & Answers

Have a xiaomi mi8 with lineage os on it (official build) and twpr. Did have encryption working before but had to wipe the phone and lost all is and encryption and can't remeber for the life of me what twrp version I used to get encryption working and what steps I took to get there. I try encrypt the phone now and it gets stuck on lineage boot logo. Switch it off after hours of being on the lineage logo and get to twrp and it does not ask for a password but says it can't Mount my partition when j try browse file or factory reset (has to be format option to start again)
Any ideas what twrp version I need and what steps in what order I need to take to get encryption back

TWRP doesn't work + Dm-verity problem

Hi.
I had Freedom OS on my op3t. I gave it to my friend for review and he installed stock 7.0 on my Oneplus 3t.
After he made a review I wiped everything, then I entered into TWRP ( it worked) and try to install my backup. After flashing it I tried to turn on system but there was bootloop (I tried to do it 3 times) and because nth helped, I downloaded new FreedomOS to flash it but now, when I enter to TWRP I see:
DM- verity is not started in enforcing mode and may not work properly,
then is start booting to twrp but TWRP stay on main screen.. I try flash diffirent versions but every time TWRP doesn't work.
Device is unlocked.
Any idea?

Nexus 6 updating LineageOS 15 TWRP decrypt problem

Hello So I managed to update my LOS 14 to 15. Flashed latest TWRP 3.2.1.0 with Nexus Root Toolkit and installed Lineage OS 15 and Gapps for 8.1 without problem.
But today came out OTA update and when I hit install it opens TWRP that asks for decryption password.
I have never set any screen/SIM lock or password. As I checked there is no updated TWRP for Nexus 6 just this 3.2.1.0 that is not supporting Oreo based ROMs encryption.
Is there any workaround, without wiping data? Maybe with OTG stick and installing update manually... or just wait for TWRP to update/or contact them?
Thank you guys.
LOS forces encryption for years and recently not. Only way to decrypt is hit cancel when prompted for password, access and back up data to laptop or OTG flash drive (offsite), backup ROM to TWRP, move TWRP folders offsite, format data which wipes all data, move/restore all data and files back to phone, restore ROM, flash Fed-patcher V8 (must download before hand and move offsite with other data so u can now use it) to rid of encryption on LOS, reboot

Problems with custom recoveries.

Why is it that when I flash TWRP following the steps provided on the official website my Redmi 4X gets stuck on the logo when powered on? At this point the only thing I can do is access TWRP and even then I am asked for a password. I also performed a factory reset from TWRP and even though I can use TWRP just fine the stock ROM still doesn't boot.
So, what do I have to do in order to have a proper working recovery with MIUI installed? I read something about boot verification but didn't really understand it ?
First off install lazyflasher.zip then format (not factory data reset) data from TWRP.
Good to go!
use redwolf recovery

[HELP] TWRP does not start after lineageos update

Hi all,
I encrypted the official lineageos on my Pixel 5 with a pattern and then installed a new version via TWRP.
Unfortunately, that does not seem to work with encryption, so now LOS no longer start and TWRP freezes at the logo and no longer asks for the pattern.
Is there a way to decrypt the internal memory with TWRP? I have previously made a backup, but now I no longer have access to it because it is on the encrypted storage.
I already tried to reinstall TWRP but it doesn't work, it freezes at the logo and therefore can't be used anymore.
If anyone has an idea what I can do, I would be very grateful.

Soft Brick after trying to install custom ROM

Hello boys and girls,
So I recently got me a CN Realme x2 pro and after much trouble I unlocked the bootloader. I updated to the latest firmware (RealUI2 F16) and installed TWRP 3.4 and as soon as I booted into recovery I made a full Nandroid backup. Then tried to boot back into system and I got into a bootloop. So I decided to install a custom ROM, since that was the original plan. After wiping the system in TWRP, I got some error about some partition, formated data, repaired it, formated to ext2 and back to ext4.
I tried LOS 17.1 , LOS 18.1 , crDroid 7.2 and AOSiP 11 . crDroid and AOSiP drop back into bootloader/recovery, both LOS are stuck at the boot animation (I waited for over 4 hours).
I also tried TWRP 3.6 (which is currently installed) and OrangeFox 11 (which results in the red error about destroyed boot/recovery). The strange thing is that when connected to PC, the phone mounts /data to PC instead of /storage (is that normal?)
Any idea?
