MoKee Open Source is the biggest non-profit Android Open Source development team in China, with members from all parts of the world. We follow the latest development from Google closely and improve various parts of Android according to the user habits. Being a non-profit organisation, we utilise our spare time and own funds to keep this passion alive. Therefore, the costs for the forum and servers are solely beared by us. In order to provide a good user experience, we only included a few preinstalls in the ROM. Along with the advertisements in the forum; we hardly get enough to pay for the bandwidth. The point is, those are our only source of income, however many developers choose to exclude them when releasing unofficial builds. Unlike CyanogenMod, we did not accept monetary help at the early stages, as in China, most people do not understand the meaning of “making a donation”. They would think of it as buying a service, which is conflicting with our objectives. Anyways, we still made it until today, and even started to provide third party developers a chance to utilise our OTA system. All of these are the fruit of our hard work and passion. We are proud of the happy users, and we are also proud of the support given to MoKee Open Source. Most importantly, we are proud of the improvements we have achieved all these while, and the advancements never stop.

Damn your currently on fire releasing these pie roms, bugs I found so far :
Waking device with home button doesn't work
Can't change ringtones or notification sound (sound app crashes)
Switching to recents feels sluggish
Mokee ota update app didn't work for the first launch but started working fine after running the rom for a bit
auto selected chinese keyboard (easily changed back to english)
Settings search was not working but started working after a few minutes, also buttons such as recent, home and back cannot be customised even though it says it can in settings.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's pretty much all I have found the rest seems normal and performance is looking stable yet what I have seen is that in geekbench the scores are quite lower than what they normally are if it were on a different rom. Also, I love the subtle fade in animation when turning the screen on with the power button from the lockscreen. The default wallpaper set looks amazing on first boot. All though the performance is sometimes not as stable and has a few frame drops here and there sometimes running at 60fps and other times dropping below 30.

wow, nice. New pie rom They are appearing like a mushrooms after rain So happy to see how many people are trying to make this pie thing Real!

Is Boeffla Supported yet?

The Google Sounds app (with those Pixel ringtones and other exclusive sounds) will crash on any custom ROM except Pixel Experience.
It also crashes on my Galaxy S5 running official LineageOS 16.0 with no modifications for instance.
When selecting a new ringtone, notification sound or alarm sound simply select "media storage" instead of "Sounds".
If there is no such option, navigate to Settings > Apps & Notifications > See all xx apps > Sounds > Advanced > Open by default > Clear defaults.

Wow ? will flash and report
Thanks.
So far really nice. Thanks. I'm looking for a kernel that works well with this ROM but has dt2w. Any recommendations?
It would be greatly appreciated if someone could take a few screenshots of what the custom ROM is like.
I like the features that comes with the ROM, though I'm wondering if it's supposed to be speedy and light on the battery (having little problems with battery life on 4.0.2 on a different ROM).
By the way, I've noticed that the ROM's site (http://flex-os.com, not the sub-domain) is down in some way, not sure if that was supposed to contain some information. Lol.
Yes, I've just noticed that this thread was put up 5 hours ago, so there should probably be a break before getting into all of that.
Over all, this does look like a great effort according to the OP and the video, so I appreciate the time and work put into this.
Thanks.

Runs great for me. Great list of features to.
Tons of option I have seen in a ROM working great but proximity sensor shouldn't be shutting down the screen while a call appear. If I want to cancel it. I must remove my hand from the sensor while I was playing a game. Other than that this ROM is awesome.
Is this CM or AOSP?
It's aosp I believe.
Best bootanimation ever seen, the one in this ROM
Inviato dal mio Nexus 4 con Tapatalk 2
Its cm based says so in OP
If I'll see in the future a "scrolling speed" feature to go along with all the other animation settings, then I might move from cm12.1 to FlexOS for good.

No, it's CM based.
That's why devs make OP's, so everyone can read the important stuff there...
Great work, downloading now for flashing. Thanks to devs?
Have been running this ROM since I found it about a week ago. It is smooth, responsive, and so far without noticeable bugs. The only thing I miss is the quiet time/interruption settings under sounds; excepting this it is nearly perfect so far. And for quiet times/interruptions Macrodroid comes to the rescue.
Great effort y'all. My thanks.
Nice ROM, it's have a fresh air, works fast without any major glitches... One small problem, after receiving a call the screen become brighter/white... It's back on normal color/brightness only after a restart. I will take a log when i will have some time. Thanks a lot for all your hard work!
Updated to the latest NIGHTLY FlexOS 5.1.1 20150609 everything is OK, working like a charm.
I would love to have support for S2W of Faux123 (sweep to wake) function added into the kernel.
Also i would love to have this ROM runing over the HTC Desire 606w (DualSim Online), but this is only a dream, it will never happen!
This project is dead or what? I see that the hosting is no longer available ....

AOSPA for the Redmi Note 3
We’re really excited to announce that we are releasing our Nougat flavour of Paranoid Android. We have a lot in store - with a mix of both features & improvements.
First & foremost, we have moved our code base to be fully CAF based. This brings many improvements to your device. The key improvement here is that Qualcomm hardware is better tuned on the CAF base and with our additional optimizations we can provide a smooth and fluid user experience that will let you enjoy using your device without any lags.
On first launch you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson who’s teamed up with us again and created several beautiful pieces of artwork. For those of you who don’t know, Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work stands itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We have also added several new features and made improvements to the UI of the system that we believe would enhance the overall experience.
Pie
We’ve been working hard on redesigning this key feature of our portfolio and we’re really happy with how it has turned out. The whole design has been reworked and it fits in well with the overall feel of Google’s Material Design. This gives you the opportunity to use more gesture based control for navigating, rather than using the standard Navigation Bar at the bottom of your screen. Expect improvements and additions in the future.
Color Engine
We’re proud to announce our newest feature - Color Engine. Color Engine allows you to seamlessly change the colors of your device to be in Light, Dark (Pixel) and Black modes with a variety of accent colors to choose from. This makes changing the theme of your device really quick without having to install any extra packages on your device.
Pocket Lock
This feature prevents any form of accidental input when your device is in your pocket by disabling input sources. You can simply release Pocket Lock by long pressing the power button as highlighted by the minimal UI incase of any sort of obstruction or dust on the sensors.
Accidental Touch
Accidental Touch is a feature useful for many, especially the gamers out there. It prevents any sort of accidental touch on hardware buttons while the touchscreen is in use. This means you won’t experience any unexpected behaviour while playing games, web browsing or even when attempting to reach your finger out to the edge of that humongous display.
Major features:
Reworked Pie
Color engine
Pocket lock
Immersive mode
Buttons customization (including navigation bar)
Minor features:
SafetyNet Compatibility
Recent tasks locking
Battery icon customization
Google now page in default launcher
Accidental touch
Three finger swipe Screenshot
Substratum (OMS) support (Color engine will be deactivated if you use Substratum)
Quick pulldown
Various performance and battery improvements

Can anyone update Volte Video Call?
I hope add slim recent
Battery drain is too much. Consuming 1% for just 3 mins. That too for fiddling with settings and nothing intensive.

I think this first version drain my battery so much.
finally, viper comes back, thank you!
1. i think the du's button rebind better.
2. can we hide the input keyboard switch on the statusbar.
3. how about notification led colore setting.
4. swipe on the statusbar to change brightness.
5. gps seems slow fix. nos faster.
6. more qs tiles.
Thanks for updating ViperOS!
The OS so far seems to be pretty good but I do have a few suggestions for improvement in future updates:
Battery optimization seems to be a major issue. On MIUI 9, I'm able to go an entire day with a single charge in the morning. However, AOSVP needs 2 or even 3 charges to last the entire day.
In addition to excessive loss of battery, overheating of the phone seems to have become inevitable, staying in the high 50-60 range constantly unless specifically cooling it.
While the customization options present in the OS have functions not present on stock, basic functionality seems to have been lost. For example, the ability to set 2 different wallpapers, 1 for the lockscreen and the other for the home page, is no longer present .
Pop-up notifications like this
mess with some apps as it covers the keyboard, making it hard to type. I don't think there is a way to disable such notifications as of yet.
While not necessary, I'd love a feature similar to that of MIUI where you are able to "lock" recent apps such that when you clear all apps from your tray they remain running. This is very useful if you're playing music in the background and the phone becomes laggy, needing apps to be closed. The best option is to clear all apps but this leads to the music being stopped as well.
The ability to update the OS OTA seems to no longer be available. While I can live with this, being a custom ROM I'd at least like a notification from settings letting the user know when a new update is available on XDA or something.

does call in sim2 works in on7 pro??
volte
Does that Volte works?
Hello!
I installed yesterday on my wife's cell phone, for now it's great, I'll be checking today for the battery, which first impression is very good.
I have a Titan and I already used the nougat from DtOs and I loved this rom.
Many thanks for developing on On7, I'll be giving FeedBack as my wife tells me.
Great work, warrior @Vikram4545 !!
Hugs.
Thanks! I've tried Lineage os and it was sooo laggy, and I was searching desperately for a stable Oreo rom lol
Using it for about 5 days and still no major problems here. Animations are ok, and smooth. Some lags may occur but I'm sure it's due to system memory and it's a very basic smartphone.
But only at home on wifi, gonna try it with lte this week.
Keep the good work! ??
Hello!
The rom is in great performance, I'm just facing a general crash, it's very rare to happen, more has happened on my wife's On7.
You are using it and suddenly it locks the whole system so that you can not even turn the device off.
Yesterday I had to take the battery to restart the system, can someone tell me why this happens and how to solve it?
In the rest very good rom, eagerly awaiting further updates.
Hug.
Hello!
Will you have new updates ??
Bugs
For my on7, audio is not working at all :crying::crying::crying:, also Volte is not working.
Please fix this bugs.
Rest of these issues, ROM working properly, nice stable usage interface. thanks dev.

I flashed this ROM with no real issues - I didn't use the TWRP Recovery suggested, but the latest version of OrangeFox and everything seemed to work fine (although I have noticed when returning to OF Recovery, it says something about "failed to mount" when I try to wipe cache & dalvik)
When I long press on the Home screen to access Launcher settings, and then select Developer options, it reports that QuickStep crashed & returns me to the Home screen.
I'm guessing I can't change the Home screen grid size? Can't get rid of that hideous Google Search bar? And can't get rid of that annoying wide 'pill' thing at the bottom of the screen? If I use a custom Launcher, presumably I lose my system wide gesture navigation?
The screen magnification seems rather large, even on its 'smallest' setting.
So far, apart from the above, everything seems to be working well & fast.

Dirty flashing is ONLY suggested for a weekly trivial update on the same ROM. Changing ROMs, and API level in this case, it is unfathomable to expect to have a working phone with a dirty flash. Even if it boots, which it probably won't, as in your case, the end result will certainly not be what it is supposed to be. You'll end up with a lagfest and apps closing, and then blame it on the ROM...
So , yes, it is normal that your phone won't boot.. Clean flash, formating data by typing "yes" and using the latest beta recovery is the way to go in order to have the latest Android a couple of weeks after Google releases it. We've come a long way... Porting used to take 6 months...
Nice custom rom. Really smooth with good bb. No deep sleep bug while bluetooth on.
The only rom where volte and vowifi works out of the box without problems (germany)
Haven't found heavy bugs while one day of using. Excelent. Keep going!
EDIT: After a while "camera lost connection error". Only reboot helps to solve the issues
I'm also seeing some camera issues. Opening the stock camera app sometimes results in a "can't connect to camera" error. If I dismiss the camera app & reopen it, I then see a camera image but it's frozen, dismiss & reopen, it's an updated image but frozen again. It takes several attempts to get a working camera image.
Also, I seem to be having trouble updating apps (possibly only Google apps?) in the Playstore - the downloads get stuck at various X% and I have to cancel & try again multiple times (it's not my internet which is working fine). I've tried clearing Playstore cache & data, but it hasn't helped.
i can confirm the camera issues. happened with elixir os as well, but with arrowOS it seems less frequent
I also had this camera issue both in arrow 11 and 12 but it almost never happens in arrow 12
Also can someone tell me how this rom preforms? (bugs, fluidity, battery life, etc)
Im currently using arrow os 12 and it is pretty good so i was wondering if i could update it to 13 now or wait for a more stable release

I've found this ROM to be remarkably smooth, fluid & stable. Although I admit I haven't used my Redmi Note 7 much as it's now a 'backup' phone. But anytime I've picked up the handset with this ROM on, it's been working fine.
There are obviously a few camera issues, but they don't seem to occur that often.
I'm still a little unsure about battery life - at first it seemed fine, but lately I've started noticing that when the phone has simply been left on standby all day (no active use) that by the end of the day it's down from 100% to say 30% which seems rather excessive for being on standby (handset isn't warm at all though).
Hi there,
I want to try this ROM, but I would prefer to install it without GApps. Is it possible to upload a Vanilla Version of it, so I can use MicroG instead of GApps?

Oh i see, i would like to hear from more people their opinion on the battery life because i still use it as my only phone and so it is pretty important to me. Thanks tho
(Also, could it be that you left the bluetooth on? I read that some android 12 roms had problems with the deep sleep while the bluetooth was on, i dont know if it could be the case)
I checked my RedmiNote7 before going to bed last night. It was at 84% battery & Bluetooth/WiFi/4G data were all off (GPS location service was on). The phone was not plugged in to charge. Approximately 8hrs later when I woke up (so the phone wasn't even touched all night) the battery was down to approx. 48%
The GSam battery info (screenshot attached) seems to indicate this is all down to Kernel & Android System (the handset wasn't warm).
There doesn't seem to be a lot happening here. Is anyone, besides myself, actually using this ROM? Is it being maintained or is the initial release the only release?
for me most of the things work perfectly, only the gcam doesn't work, the battery consumption even pleasantly surprised me
It is still in early developement stage at official channels - I think it will finally come to lavender officially (13.0)
This is the best rom for lavender. The battery stats are impressive, I don't know how they managed it. It's a pity that the camera does not work. Please, fix. I would really appreciate it
