Happened to me too. You need to switch to the pro camera mode and then you'll be able to save as RAW

So, it's like a bug? These are my specs, just in case

I wonder if it's a problem from EMUI or nougat

I think possible this is the reason, sigh.... KIRIN.
i think Huawei has the superior "portrait" mode so no need for this!
Why would one wanna use pixel's portrait mode instead of Huawei's?

I think it's more for Google's HDR+ processing.
For me it kind of works. But only front facing camera.
But I think it's because the camera is for Nougat.

It's possible that some features may get ported, but there are hardware limitations as well. 3 rear cameras vs our two. Two front facing cameras vs our one. But I'm fairly certain the Note 10 will blownit out of the water anyway.
Depends... Samsung may include some of the S10s camera app features in the Note 9's camera app. But I seriously doubt they will do that in the next update of the camera app for the Note 9. As the Note 9 has a Dual Camera system and the S10 has a Triple Camera System
But it's all software dependent. S10 and S10E have single camera on the front and yet it has those potrait features

It'll probably get ported or Samsung with push an update for the Note 9.

On phone my photos look similar, on computer or another screen that is calibrated they look fine. Pretty sure it is just the way the screens is calibrated on phone.

yes me too
I'm having this issue as well. Thinking about going back to .178.
Did you upgrade to .185 by dload method, or did you get an OTA update?
I am still on 177 but according to Huawei they have done it Purposefully to make photos appear Natural in Some Scenarios.
But To Me Its Worsening not improving the quality of the Picture.

I tried to Update to 185 but couldn't.
Is it the Same with New Updates Too???
