#Reserved for announcements!
06/25/2019:
* If you are lucky enough to be on one of @ZVNexus early working builds of TWRP then I have included a flashable ROM zip in the Download section of the OP. I would assume the flashing instructions would go as follows but I cannot 100% confirm anything myself at the moment due to my T-mobile variant being carrier locked for the next 40 days. On Saturday I switched from VZW to T-mobile and their buyers remorse policy will not allow an unlock until after 40 days of service. Until then I am relying on my TG chat testers for feedback so please, ALL the feedback I can get is GREATLY appreciated!
07/09/2019:
* Well it seems that @ZVNexus has a fully working version of TWRP in version 3.3.1-4. As before I have provided a flashable ROM zip for TWRP and also the images for a manual flash. This build includes Dank kernel now which is my personally maintained kernel. The features of Dank kernel include Kcal (advanced color control), Wake gestures from @flar2 , and HBM (high brightness mode). I do not upstream my kernel because I am a noob and I trust google to fix any conflicts that may occur when upstreaming more than myself. This update brings the July security update on the ROM and device side and a few bugs worked out with translation.
07/17/2019
* Yes! I very kind T-mobile associate unlocked my bootloader for me via twitter DM's. Anyone with T-mobile I highly suggest using this method for customer service in general! Let the games begin!
*** Special thanks to @MVNO DeSIngS for testing my blind builds! ***
FLASHING INSTRUCTIONS FOR TWRP (maybe) lol :
1. Make sure you are coming from a clean install of the latest 9.0.0 factory image from google with TWRP installed. (backup any important data to an external source)
2. Wipe data, System and Dalvik/ ART ccache.
3. Flash ROM
4. Flash twrp installer zip
5. Boot into OS.... Enjoy! (Remember Gapps are included so no worries about that and NEVER flash magisk or third party kernels until AFTER first boot and setup!)
11/16/2019
* This is the initial build of Bootleggers ROM for Android 10. MOSTLY ALL FEATURES ARE MISSING. Relax, good things are coming! Make sure to pay close attention to the install instructions as they have changed from PIE. Enjoy!

glad i was able to test it out .

Don't have my 3a XL yet, but plan on flashing this as soon as I get it. Link to the flashable zip goes to the system.img file, and on the 3a non-XL page it points to an actual zip. Intended?

Yeah...that link needs an update.
Here's the link for the zip... https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=6006931924117902739

Checking in and asking people who would like to test to follow the link I provide. It seems that the installs are working fairly well with TWRP now so I will continue to add both flashable twrp version of the ROM and the images for fastboot. The following link is me experimenting with our kernel source. I have decided to stick with a pure AOSP base without the upstream mainly because I trust google more than myself to clean up conflicts. This link will always stay the same as the builds are updated.

Thanks for this Rom!
But what is the proper procedure for updating the Rom via twrp without losing data? When I tried to flash the .zip, it seemed to work, but upon reboot, it booted to pixel recovery.

update-
followed instructions, did full wipe, flashed rom, flashed twrp zip, rebooted, doesn't boot up, just bootloops back into fastboot
just like the other rom on this forum.
Can we just put a pause on this and have a collective effort to figure out why this doesn't work for the majority of us?

that's not the way we do that here.
We boot twrp from fastboot and then flash the zip within the bootable twrp.
Flashing twrp from fastboot has not been proven to be successful.
Also, i'm back on stock now, had to use the flashall.bat :\

I have not tried this room yet but for the other rooms for first flash, I had to fastboot boot twrp and install the rom with the fastbooted twrp. When I would use the twrp installed on phone it would not flash right for some reason. Give that a shot if you haven't yet.

Sure, the theme is optional, when you install the ROM you have the default Pixel theme, but you have the choice to theme it like you want in display settings.
Flashed ROM, working perfect.
Did the same way like OP says.
FYI - there's no need to do advanced wipe a simple factory reset is all you need to do. Doing advanced wipe and wiping system is why you get the no OS message and is pointless on pixels

Very small bug: if you have SIM Card in SIM tray 1 and you go to airplane mode, after re-activation (leaving airplane mode) the SIM Card is detected but you see not the Name of the carrier Name, you see "emergeny calls only". If you use SIM tray 2 the Name changes to the carrier name correctly. It's only a bug in SIM tray 1.

Does anyone know to inform me if this rom or solve the device problem when playing videos on YouTube 720p60fps with lags?
Everything works great, thank you! It's much better than Lineage OS posted somewhere around. Guys, about flashing TWRP, you can do it only after fastboot reboot via adb, after flashing twrp andtyping flashboot reboot recovery command juust hold volume up and power while rebooting then twrp will show up. If you will have problem with /data access unable (or something like that) just go to wipe option -> check data -> change file system -> its ext4, so change it to ext2 -> then change it to ext4 again -> go back and install everything you want without /data saving problem.
hope this lack of info will help you all

that's what I ask myself, too. There is nothing going on.
The battery usage is crazy. The phone is able to go down from 100% to 15% within about 1 hour of watching youtube at mid screen brightness.
Edit: coincidence, my battery just died for good around the time I flashed the rom...

Hey bro its great to test bootleggers on my OP6 and unfortunately & accidentally messed my phone with trying this more hz display which doesn't work on android 10 i haven't glanced that forum clearly(my bad:crying so please provide me necessary code to start my device.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/development/mod-70-72hz-display-mod-oneplus6-t3952113
Its correctly stopped at Warning page of boot loader unlock & please try to add face unlock, oos camera app and proper higher refresh rate module to your code which would definitely welcomed by all OP6 bootleggers users:good:
Will wait for your contribution and support for 1 day & will reinstall bootlegger if nothing works
& thanks alot for building this rom for oneplus 6.

1. I am not sure why you would flash some overclocking thing for the device especially when our displays are capped at 60 hZ. For adding code to add higher refresh rate, i will NEVER DO IT. You may wanna use msm tool to re install OOS directly.
2. OOS Camera support i may be looking into. The things are slightly different than that of pie, so not really sure by when i will be able to add it.
3. Face unlock is something which google took out from code when they brought the pixel 4 series into the market. It is something which is currently not possible for any custom rom running android 10.
You may try to flash the stock 60 hZ and see what goes on

You can't use any custom roms without first converting your TMobile 6t to an international/global model and unlocking bootloader... Etc etc .
See: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6t/how-to/t-mobile-6t-to-international-t3888307
Also there's a thread dedicated to rom installation in guides section that's helpful. Once your converted and update your OOS to latest (10.3.5) and your bootloader is unlocked, you can then install custom recovery aka TWRP and follow installation directions from the op here. (original post) Hope that helps.

Explain more in detail what it is you are doing installation wise. What are you wiping specifically? What recovery version and which exact to TWRP are you using? More details more help...
I'm glad you picked this one. Hope to see a lot more from you.
Installed and set up fine. Passes safetynet out of the box. Other feature packed ROMs tend to have gapps preinstalled. Thank you for not including that. I like my gapps stack light.

Same here, I switched kernels and it seemed to fix the problem.
But before I switched I noticed that the colors looked muted. Anyone else noticing the dullness of the colors?
Everytime I try to setup my fingerprint the phone crashes and the systemui reboots. Does anyone else have this problem or should I redownload and reflash?

Try to plug your charger and reboot. It schould work.
New build up! Hit that thanks button.
This build mainly fixes problems with the initial build.
Fixes:
Fixed booting for some devices
Fixed an issue where device won't boot if it isn't plugged in
Fixed FOD causing a SystemUI crash
Fixed a crash in Ambient Display options
Fixed FOD animations not working
Fixed FOD icon being blank
Note: Please use the wide display configuration in OnePlus Settings if you feel the display colours are washed out. A clean flash is recommended.
Happy flashing!
Does this rom support system wide app locker and is parallel space like feature build in this rom?
Best rom for OP6T atm!

@Ashutosh Sundresh Thanks for building this ROM for the 6T! I have a just have a couple of questions.
1. Do you think you'll apply for Official?
2. What do you think the release schedule for new builds will be?
I've heard good things about this ROM, great job man!

First off, thanks for being a developer for this great ROM and great phone!
Just a couple things I have noticed after installing this ROM
1. When going to the updater it just crashes the settings.
2. Even after changing the screen color from MSM settings and OnePlus settings it still looks washed out.

Hi there!
1. Updater crashes, because it's not implemented until the rom becomes official. (Probably we don't have to wait long for that)
2. On my end i see a difference, if i change panel modes.
Try wide color mode.

Same on my 6t.
The only thing I wish MSM had is smartbar. Roms I know that have it on 6t are Havoc (no maintainer anymore), AOSiP, PiXeN and Corvus. Just sharing my opinion is all. This is an awesome beast of a rom and it's very beautiful!!! Awesome job on the 2nd ever build!!!!! ? I love the option to have random colors all over. Super bad ass!!
Smartbar:
Not directed at any user in particular just a sidenote for anyone who may not know what smartbar is.. In Android pie/9 DU member BRD made something called DUI and it was/is pulse, fling and smartbar. Smartbar is the option to set your nav buttons, back, home and recent to long press or double tap and go to an app of your choice or an action or any other setting on your device. We used to be able to add extra keys on pie but I don't believe that's the case on Android 10. Just a heads up for what smartbar is in case there's anyone who may not have known. Thrilled that smartbar has now been ported to Android 10 along with pulse and fling!

Pre-requisites:
* You are familiar with helping yourself out of awkward situations. You won't defame or complain at the developer of this ROM for your misfortunes.
* You are familiar with using fastboot
* Before you are ready to flash this custom ROM, you have to install the latest factory image from October 2021
* Bootloader unlocked
* You have created a backup of your ROM & data
First time installing PixelDust ROM, or coming from another ROM:
YOU MUST HAVE an Android 12 FACTORY IMAGE FLASHED TO BOTH SLOTS BEFORE YOUR FIRST TIME INSTALLING ROM.
1. Flashing stock ROM / unlock bootloader (If applicable):
Follow these instructions: https://developers.google.com/android/images#crosshatch
Boot the stock ROM.
Don't setup any google account, don't add a screen lock. Just go to Settings > System > Developer options. Enable OEM unlocking.
You need to follow this guide to unlock your bootloader.
2. There are now two options for the installation. Either via TWRP or via Sideload (for advanced users).
A. Flashing PixelDust ROM via TWRP:
Download the ROM and both TWRP files (img + zip) (for download links see above).
Boot fastboot mode.
Connect the phone to the Computer with USB cord.
Copy twrp-3.6.2_11-0-crosshatch.img to the platform-tools folder or folder that has fastboot in it and rename it twrp.img.
Open a Command Prompt.
At the Command Prompt type and press enter.
Code:
fastboot boot twrp.img
If requested, swipe to allow modifications.
Tap "Wipe", then tap "Format data" and type yes to continue.
Copy the rom zip and twrp-installer-3.6.2_11-0-crosshatch.zip to your device.
Tap "Install", select the rom zip, tap "Add more Zips", select the twrp-installer.zip and Swipe Slider to install.
When install is successful tap on "Reboot", then tap on the first list item "System".

B. Flashing PixelDust ROM via sideload:
Download the ROM and boot image (for download links see above)
Boot fastboot mode
Connect the phone to the Computer with USB cord.
Flash the boot image (this allows stock recovery to flash unsigned rom zip)
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot_aosp_xxx.img
Wipe userdata (required for first PixelDust/Android 13 install)
Code:
fastboot erase userdata
Reboot into fastbootd
Code:
fastboot reboot fastboot
Use volume keys and power button to select "Enter Recovery"
Select "Apply Update from ADB"
Sideload the ROM zip
Code:
adb sideload PixelDust-Tiramisu-aosp-crosshatch-user-xxx.zip
Reboot

Dirty flashing PixelDust ROM (coming from a previous PixelDust A13 ROM):
Just skip the step "Format data" / "Wipe userdata"

literally just installed the rom, rather painless process. wallpapers are superb. nice and quick navigating around screens very happy with this custom rom
Downloading now and flashing tonight. Good to see developers still working on this phone.
So weird, it installed fine but i don't have anything extra, it's basically just a plain pixel ROM without any mods...

I'll try again after work but I noticed that my build number is different than the one in the changelog which shows (RQ1A.210205.004)
Maybe the download file links to an older version?
Thanks, love this ROM. Most stable rock solid ROM with great battery life I have used. You guys rock!

turns out, when i was flashing Factory image, i was using flash-all.sh but it only flashed the active slot. As soon as i flash both pixel Dust loaded perfectly. Great ROM so far! thanks to the devs.
Chrome and Android System Webview will not update. Other than that it's great and fast.
Edit: Finally got both to update. Had to click update all. Will not update one by one.
Just wanted to say thanks for the amazing ROM! Running great thus far! 1st custom ROM for me w/ Android 11! Great mix of features, gotta say it's nice seeing Face Unlock added back into a ROM, also it seems very snappy and smooth so far! Magisk stable running smoothly.

You used Magisk stable release to get root? I thought Canary was required for 11?

Yeah Magisk stable works. I haven't looked at changelog if you want to go view that to see what the differences are. But I've been using Magisk stable for January and Feb google ROMs
Guys, are you getting a lag when opening/closing the notification shade? The rom works amazing otherwise and no lag anywhere else whatsoever. Love all the customization features!

Ah, thanks a ton! Fixed the lag for me.
Setting "min CPU frequency" of "Cluster 1" in EX Kernel Manager (Little cluster in Franco) to 652MHz instead of 300.
Edit: Lag is back again Did fix it for sometime but it keeps coming back.

I did enable the option to set it at boot - and tried a higher MHz too. But I guess that would have an effect on battery life..
Tough luck
