Bootleggers ROM is an aftermarket firmware based on AOSP with some patches and fixes from LineageOS and various other projects. The idea is to bring custom features and some of the most useful apps on your device, with the goal of Making you feel like 家.
With an almost stable source, this ROM is also packed with some custom wallpapers (avaliable on ShishuWalls), ringtones, fonts, and themes to bring to your device into a more fresh look and give you always a good experience.
Also, we got our Telegram Group to talk about the ROM, share some love, ideas or even have fun with us!

A: Bootleggers (on a context of toy bootlegs and related stuff) are the people who take an original idea or product and make their own version, obviously on a low-quality way.

A: According to google (and take the meaning of this with a hundred quotation marks) it means home or family. We want you to use your phone and feel yourself comfortable, and like it, like you'll be at home.

Another ROM based on the mighty GZOSP. I have been a long time fan of Ground Zero Team for only one reason. Stability. GZOSP is probably the most stable ROM I have ever used. But their GApps are a bit outdated.

Protip: when on sailfish always remember you are marlin's lil bro and there's always 10x more content and context over there ;P Just kidding, but in all seriousness, poking around this rom's thread on the marlin forum confirms this is currently still on Nov, with Dec apparently imminent.

Edit: Rom is calling for pq1a.181205.002.a1 vendor, which is 12-05 dec security patch. Are you sure you weren't on November? I figured you were on Dec so dirty flashed over Nov Pixel Dust but now I'm getting vendor mismatch so looked it up to confirm. Gonna track it down and report back, other than that seems initially stable even w/o clean flashing from other custom rom.

Yerp, figured it out post flash It calls for vendor for pq1a.181205.002.a1. However, noticed in About phone, build number is 181205.006 (XL3) for me? Flashing the vendor from the dec sailfish image worked.

Edit: substratum doesn't seem to work, but theming options in the rom
Flashed this this morning and its wonderful. Smooth rom, widgets and D2W are working too. Clean flashed stock, then clean flashed rom and shagapps. Stock kernel, no substratum, no magisk, yet. Will report if I find any issues/bugs

Thank you! The eyes start to miss settings after a certain number of sweeps. Is there some alternative to temporary auto lock prevention in this rom? I've seen roms handle it differently I feel, miss dat caffeine tho

Applying new fonts doesn't seem to make any changes, have tried while using different device themes in Display settings. Substratum uninstalled.

Just only the shushified status.
I've been using the previous version, the BootleggersROM-Pie4klte.4.0-Stable-Unshishufied-20190113. The only issue I found was battery draining fast. My battery tops about 4 hours using WhatsApp, listening to music through bluetooth headset.
I'm going to update today and latter on tell the results.

Ive been using this rom to my samsung s5 g9oot device. Rom is very smooth, no lags, been using it as my daily driver. But one thing only, my led notif light is not working. I have enable it but still no led light when i recieve msgs like fb messenger. I used also used custom roms before like aex, havoc, dotos, mokee roms and led light notif works. Can u give any advice on how to fix this. Overall rom is amazing. Thanks.

Many more customisations.
Wonderful ROM. User friendly and simple. Excellent battery life. But yet very stable. Good job to the developer. One issue ive experienced. When i try to change select the ring tone, the sound app force closes. Other than that no issues. Not a big deal. Hopefully to be fixed next update. Goodjob ??

Hi mate,
uninstall any updates to the sound app and that should fix. I've had to stop auto updates on play store.
