How to make App Lock NOT hide notifications? - Huawei P30 Pro Questions & Answers

Hello,
Does anyone know a way to make App Lock NOT hide the notifications of locked apps until they are unlocked?
I've really tried searching for an option but sadly i haven't been able to find anything that will allow notifications to be displayed prior to unlocking the app.
Any help is appreciated, thank you.

I don't know but seems against the point of app lock to be honest.

The point of App Lock is to lock the app, not to hide it's notifications with no way to disable hiding them

I thought it was to prevent people seeing / using apps you didn't want them to due to sensitive info which is why they won't appear as notifications.

App icon notification problem

As the title says really, I don't seem to get any notifications on the app icons. Nothing for Facebook or Gmail etc. If I use nova launcher with Tesla they work but nothing with stock launcher
I'm on stock rom and don't always get notifications coming through straight away or on any apps to say I have a notification.

Yep. A deal killer for me
Still a relatively new device. Hopefully Huawei will sort this issue if they keep the updates coming.

Line and Facebook are the only apps I get notifications. Nothing else gets through.

Go to Settings-->Advanced-->Battery Manager>Protected Apps-->There you need to toggle the switch for every app you want to receive notifications from or you can toggle the All apps button at the top which will make multitasking much better but can drain the battery a little bit faster.

Just called HUAWEI support and "it is what it is", they do not support other apps besides their own apps at the moment.

EMUI 4 Lock Screen

If anyone can help:
I would like to change (or at least try) the EMUI4 default lockscreen - magazine. Does anyone know, firstly if this is possible, and secondly, what files do I have to modify?
Thanks in Advance!

Yes. It is possible. Go in setting---> screen lock and passwords--->screen lock styles.

Thanks, but I was talking about changing the code. If I did of what you said on the previous post, I wouldn't be able to get any notifications on the lockscreen.

Not exactly. In order to get all the notifications on this phone, you have to use the magazine. I wanted to make (or modify an existing one - even the magazine) lockscreen that would show all the notifications, with some shortcuts or even a time or weather widget, compatible with an s view case.
The simplest thing would be to transfer the displayed time on the upper half of the screen.
Ok I see, not sure In that case.

The only way I can think is clearing security credentials and using a third party lock screen. I did the same with my p8lite to remove stick lock screen. I tried with p9lite and i couldn't remove lock screen even when clearing credentials.

Weather on lock screen

Does anyone know how to get a weather app on my lock screen. The option is not available as a selection in Face Widgets and Information.
I love my Note 8, but there are some limitations I'm not happy about.

You can add any widget on the Note 8 lock screen using an app called Overlays Pro (doesn't require root). I am also still looking for a way to do it without using an external app.

Samsung Pay Launch Widget (SOLVED)

My Samsung Pay launch widget is gone (the one you swipe up from the bottom of your phone to make a payment). Anyone else have this problem?

Are you using an adb command to hide the nav bar? Can you still swipe up with the screen off?

No, hadn't used any adb commands. I can swipe up from my lock screen as usual, but that's never been on that screen. From the always-on display, that's a 'no', but again that widget doesn't appear on that screen.
Just two days ago I saw this and enabled the feature. As you can see, this setting is now greyed out! That's not a good sign. I've tried toggling the setting off and rebooting, but no change. I can still use Samsung Pay, but I have to open the app itself.
I've also toggled all the of these off and on, no change. In gonna turn them off, reboot, then see if I can enable them again.
Well that didn't work either! Grrrrr...does not show up!!!
That is super weird. Yeah I dunno, I had a similar issue but it was because of a gestures app hiding the navbar
I remember the Samsung pay thing at the bottom of my screen also. I think it disappeared or I disabled it. Forgot which .

You have to have Home Screen access turned on within Pay to use the swipe up fingerprint gesture

I had that same issue and I believe the fix was to add your card to favorites in the Samsung Pay App.
