Any solution?

There is no quick unlock function when entering the pin code

I did a format and then installed the rom. There's apps crashing, such as messenger, instagram crashes as well, Onedrive too. I'm still not sure what's causing this on Pie roms for this device but Syberia OS by alexanderzzzzz doesn't show this problem (it's the only one I've tested that worked without this kind of crashes). I have no idea if it's a kernel issue but I hope I helped somehow :v besides this the rom is VERY fluid and gives a smooth experience. Haven't found any problem besides this. Thanks for the hard work on this device! good job

there are tons of ways, adb as well while, you should provide logs from the momment you press on the app and it crashes that's all.

your vendor image is corrupt. flash vendor file from twrp. donwload it from https://sourceforge.net/projects/rmx1851/files/fastboot_files/
unzip it and copy it to your phone then flash it as vendor partition from twrp.

Did what you suggested.
Then magisk gets installed with showing error "Failed to mount '/vendor' (Device or resource busy)" , previously it was showing and magisk was not getting installed but this time it does after your method.
The problems still reamins are VOLTE not working and No Sound in Calls.
Can you please suggest something?

Thanks for awesome Rom. Had used RR Rom for years on my other phones. Going to install this Rom on my Realme 3 Pro too.
In pie roms, encryption error is generally faced. Phone goes into bootloop or OS gets stuck at startup screen. Kindly suggest steps to avoid this problem.
I faced this problem on LOS Rom. But finally, it was done.
I have unlocked bootloader. Unofficial LOS with Magisk-Canary.

Pity that you decide who is "serious" or not without even knowing them, pity that you "perdict" the future of my ROMs. I have a life, and this is only a hobby for me. No one has ever supported me with anything, and I don't beg for donations or anything else(unlike some others), and I only do this in my free time. If you are not pleased about my work, no one is stopping you from using other ROMs, or building ROMs yourself and maintaining them. Let's see who will do it better.

That is because the build you are using was built by another dev and the latest one is from different Dev. So I think you have to clean flash.

This is an initial build by me, I don't know what did the older build have, so no changelog. I suppose at least you can think of WhatsApp VC lag being fixed and also newer RR source with August security patch.

Yes that is possible. But this is a old kernel issue. And i am not a kernel dev. So if anyone fix that kernel bug I will update that in my next build.

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.​

I just realized the build number is QQ3A.. thats the android 10 firmware for "coral" for Pixel 4 XL.. not "sailfish" for Pixel

Weird, I use the Google Pixel (sailfish) build fingerprint, could be from Resurrection though, but i'll look into that

Does google still recognize photo backup as unlimited original quality?

oh wow, I was hoping for a new RR build since sooo long. Thank you for continuing this on that device. I tested a lot of ROMs out there, but at the end I always back to RR...
That said, I hope that the "wifi easy connect" thing won't piss me off. WPS is simpler.
Just in case, is there any chance that you could compile a working RR for Pie ?

It does but for some reason it says that it's not unlimited, but until 2023 (but in that time we'll have android 11 roms or your pixel will probably break then)

WPS has been removed in Android 10. Thanks for the kind words, but I don't have the time with school to make a build just for you :/
