Samsung C-pen on Nexus 7

Hi everyone, i would like to know if somebody tried the Samsung C pen (for the S3) on the nexus 7? Or if you have a good stylus for the nexus 7

Samsung C = Wacom Stylus
Nexus 7 = Capacitive screen, no wacom digitizer.
Not gonna work. But any other capacitive pen will.

Wrong. The S3 pen is just a more expensive capacitive pen, you may be confused with the Galaxy note.
FWIW; I just tried my original S3 pen and it DOES work perfectly on the N7 - which is interesting because it does NOT work on the Transformer Infinity or Gnex.
Like ScottC said C-Pen is a capacitive stylus.
S-Pen is a wacom stylus.
Having tried the C-Pen. Way to over priced for a capacitive stylus that only works on some capacitive screens.
The elago stylus is pretty good in my opinion

Ah, I must have googled it wrong, when I looked I found the Galaxy Note 10.1. I know Samsung was putting out a "special" stylus for it. Ah well.

Weird its been a pain on my N7, works fine on the s3 as it should but I bought because it said it was compatible with other devices.
Was pretty much unuseable on skitch on my n7 with stock rom. its a bit better now on PARANOIDANDROID

S-Pen Holder Compatible for note 2? any other alternatives?

i have been having some trouble with the size of the s-pen, and was wondering if the holder kit for the original notes s-pen is compatible with the newer model (size wise), and if not, are there any other alternatives out there that are as good as the stock pen with regards to sensitivity?

The Holder Kit for the Note 1 isn't compatible as the Note 2 S-pen is larger. You can however use the original Holder Kit on the Note 2 as its more comfortable to hold. The only negative is you will have to put it in your pocket/bag which isn't a problem for me. I never use the stylus on the Note 2 as its too uncomfortable to use - I love using the Holder Kit as it is the same size as a regular pen.

ive heard people say that there are some sensitivity issues with the original s-pen any truth to that claim?

I haven't had any - I'm happily using my Holder kit on both of my Notes.

I got the kit and mine seems to be too sensitive- it activates almost anything it hovers over.
Does your pen do this too? Maybe I should just return it for another...
Theres a bigger version spen for the note2. The one with the eraser, forgot what it was called.

I'm loving my pricey Wacom pen.

i was wondering if you guys have found any compatible pens that don't have a huge offset compared to the original s-pen..i'm trying out a penabled wacom pen from amazon but its off by an amount that really throws me off while trying to take notes..how does the pen-holder one compare?

Inexpensive dock like this one for Note II (with case on)

Wondering if anyone has seen an inexpensive charging dock for the Note II similar to this one for the S4, that will work with a case on the Note II?

Spare stylus

Does any one know if we can get a spare stylus for the note 9? I don't need the blue tooth, or paired capabilities but the precision would be nice.
Or would any cheap eBay stylus work?

Well obviously you can, a 2 second eBay search would have told you that.
Maybe I was unclear. But I'd still like the cursor accuracy of a hovering s-pen. e.g the tiny cursor or pointer when the s-pen is over the screen.
I didnt think the cheap ebay ones could do. At least not according to the sellers I've asked. Or Can I pair2 genuine S-pen at the same time? But thanks for your response.
I have a Samsung 10.1 2014 tablet and tried it. It seems to work as usual. So you could pick up Note 8 one which would technically fit in into the slot. Or you could get the tablet one. You can find either on Amazon or eBay

That's awesome, so a second s-pen can work at the same time? Thank you for your time& your help.
A second spen will work, u just need to disable the detect spen in (enable power saving) in spen settings. Only the spen that is in the slot can use bluetooth.

Or better still you can check Samsungs website. Offers come up often. Just picked up a spare S-pen for under £15
The S-Pen from my Tab S4 and the S-Pen from my Notebook Pro 9 all work with my Note 9. I'd just buy another pen from Samsung's official store. Don't take a chance on third party. That way is full of heartache.
Picked up a brown Spen and brown LED case to match. Spen was £14.80 or something silly!
LED case was £29 in the same sale [emoji41]

I'm curious, for what do you need a spare stylus? Are you concerned about losing the original? Or are you wanting to use two stylii at the same time?

I have been using Adonit Jot Pro for drawing in Autodesk SketchBook and it's actually pretty accurate. It's not my favourite stylus but this time it was quite fun to use.
I also tried simple stylus with a rubber tip and it didn't worked as well as on the iPad.
I am looking also for a case that could hold pocophone and a stylus.
Any idea guys ?

i've been using a stylus and it really helped me sometimes! Even drawing is much easier.

I once bought a stylus in expectation that it would behave like Apple pen or Samsung's S pen. That thing betrayed me. It was mushy and inaccurate. It worked as good as your finger with the exception that it was not your finger. To be honest, I wouldn't spend my money on one of those styluses anymore unless you see the point was pretty solid and not mushy.
