Finally the Android P update have been pushed to LG V40 ThinQ in Hong Kong.

Return back to Android Wear 1.5 - factory image needed

Hi, I'm very disappointed by AW2 update and I have been reverted back to AW1.5 But I have only image nemo-mfd18l which is not the latest one. Is possible to flash back last AW1.5? Has anybody link to factor image?
When I flashed this I got an update. I hoped that it is mfd18n (or mfd18m? I don't remember) but is was AW2
Thanks
Why I'm disapponted:
Speed: the watch is laggy in some situations. It doesn't respond at all or is very slow.
Exchange contacts aren't synchronized
It doesn't support my language. This is not applicable for supported languages but AW1.5 has used Google Now which is supporting also Czech language. Now is AW2 using Google assistant and it doesn't support Czech.
Facebook Messenger needs it's own application on watch but it is too old and doesn't work with last Messenger from Play.
I'm planning on doing the same. This could be useful, good luck!
Same here..
notifications are buggy (whatsapp not working). Cards are horribles now, and if u swipe down to check , it jump a lot of time on the tab "delete all" instead to fluid let you see the notifications.
The central button do not power off the watch anymore, it just jump to recent list or if pressed long to google now.
And im not sure about battery will last long, google play service usually drain a lot on cellphone.. and if u don't use apps directly on watch, it is just a waste of space and resources.
If someone find a way to go back to 1.5 it's appreciate.

Samsung ( or android ) app linking issue ?

I bought a LG G7 (G710N sk telecom korean variant), and recently a Note 9 ( N960F/DS international variant) . I notice something pretty annoying is that whenever I use a browser in my Note 9 to open a facebook link (not messenger though), the phone doesn't prompt me to choose to open it in browser or in the native app, which I had on my LG G7. Having looking for solution about the default apps settings, the set default for facebook is grayed out or only works with link open in Messenger. I wonder if is there a possible fix or just my phone got this issue ? ( doubt it since I performed full wipe 2 times )
Can anyone help me with this ?

Honor Play, still no Pie update for me. I have the eligible version

I literally just bought my Honor play yesterday, installed a 4GB update that added gestures but EMUI version is still 8.2.0.
I heard that Pie has been released for several Honor devices including Honor Play and I suppose since I have an eligible version, I should be receiving the update already.
I have version COR-L29 8.2.0.133(C636GT) and according to the XDA post https://www.xda-developers.com/emui...se-for-honor-10-honor-play-and-honor-view-10/
it is eligible for the update.
I have tried checking for new updates both in the settings menu and HiCare but still no luck and it just says that my phone is up to date..
Please wait for the ota. ota update is pushed according to imei no. It takes time for all devices to receive the update. Be patient you will receive it soon.
The region for the update is listed as Asia Pacific.
Do you have to choose that in HiCare or can you use your own region, I'm in the UK which HiCare chooses automatically.

Eh? That's not what is eligible for the update - that IS the update.

Edited ?
So the headline “EMUI 9.0 Gets Global Release” is a bit misleading then?

Whenever a version of android is released by any manufacturer, it gets released slowly so that any major bugs are identified and the rollout stopped until they are fixed. The rollout will happen globally over a period of time; it doesn't mean that everyone gets the update on the same day, or that some people in every country gets it on any given day. This is the way it's always been done. Even if you somehow had 100% confidence that you have no bugs in your software there simply isn't the bandwidth for 4 gigs times however many million devices in 24 hours. You need to wait a little longer.
The update is ****, anyway. Aggressive memory management killing apps and no way of saying "leave this app alone"; odd blue tint to the display on task switcher; can't use nova-launcher without more problems; no idea how you're supposed to use the new gestures (no way of differentiating between swiping from the left meaning 'go back' vs swiping from the left meaning 'show me this app's options'); have to use adb to kill a search app which turns up every time you swipe on the launcher etc etc

LG V40 Korea, calendar error after updating android 9.0 (date 01/07/2019)

LG V40 Korea after updating android 9.0 (July 1, 2019) has a faulty calendar that cannot display the current date and time. Everyone who has been like me, is looking forward to finding a solution.
Set time and date to manual. Clear data for the calendar app. Change date and time back to auto, verify correct and relaunch the calendar app.
I've tried all available versions of LG Calendars, but the most success I get is wieving but no edit or adding of events. The Tasks part doesn't even open? Did anyone get this app to work, and in that case, which version?
