No, different bootloader and modem. Odin would not allow you to do this.
Flashing Custom ROM via Custom Recovery based on lollipop is possible. I tried CyanogenMod 12 but too many things do not work yet. Maybe someday. Now I have almost stock G900i (rooted, some tweaks) and waiting for official G900i lolipop... It should not be long waiting, lolipop for G900f is speeding, then maybe us will be next

Official Android 6.0.x Marshmallow doesn't exist for SM-A300F, SM-A300H and etc.
Looks like there is a new security update for our Galaxy Note 9 (N960F) dated February 2023 :

This is for Great-Britain but I think it could be use with other countries with the HOME_CSC file...
Available via Frija or Samfrew for now.
EDIT : since now, the weird thing is that update is only available for the U.K (BTB, EVR, BTE, XEU, BTU) and no other countries as if this might be the latest firmware for the Galaxy Note 9 (SM-N960F)...
Same situation as for the Galaxy tab S6 : DBT firmware for T865 and CHN for T860... ^^
