n920a nougat

Hi i have a n920a unlocked gsm and i have Android 6.0.1. I would like to upgrade to 7.0 but ota does not look for updates and Smart Switch does not find them. flashando ap, bl, cp and csc via odin I will lose the unlock for GSM networks? c is some other method to update to nougat?
If your phone is already unlocked, you will not lose the unlocked status if you update the firmware. Use odin.
When I can find this firmware?
I have find a firmware. When i flash with odin what should i flash between ap bl cp and csc?

When you extract the archived firmware file you downloaded, you should end up with a .tar.MD5 file. Put that in Odin's AP slot and flash it.
Thank you. I have find a firmware at&t but I dont like at&t customization. Can I flash the firmware of another note 5 for example n920c?

and u cant even remove these customization after install cuz no root available

When I have buy my n920a was installed 6.0.1 but there wasn't at&t customization
Samsung support will likely not be okay even if you flash official firmwares through Odin. We once tried this as the Official unmodified Samsung firmware for the S7 broke to due to an official Google Business Android security update which stopped the phone from booting.
Then again, the slimy bastards will try to get out of everything.

When you flash via ODIN all you have to do is flash the latest. No need to upgrade in between.

Question on ODIN flash

Hi, I have the Singapore firmware on my device (non-rooted): XSP
This firmware is absolutely ridiculous when it comes to updates. I am currently Sept 1, 2018 security patch, and that is the latest available for this device.
Is it possible to flash another exynos firmware from ODIN to my device WITHOUT factory resetting my phone, so my data and apps don't get affected? Can I just download the UK version, for instance, from Sammobile and flash it without affecting my data?

Yes thats no problem, just make sure you flash home CSC, if you flash CSC it will factory reset your devcie.
Thanks! I'm guessing it's not considered a dirty flash or anything right? If I install another firmware on top of XSP and flash csc_home, can it effect performance negatively?
What's the best recommended firmware to flash that gets the latest updates to replace my current XSP?

You can flash ANY firmware where OXM is mentioned in the CSC
Flash AP BL CP HOME_CSC_OXM with Odin 3.13.1 to your device: your data & CSC (XSP) will stay intact.
You can't change CSC on your device; if you flash i.e. the latest UK-firmware (BTU/XEU) and that build is NOT released for CSC XSP, you won't get OTA's to your device and you'll have to flash later FW's again via Odin.

Does this mean you can use any CSC from other official firmware and the drawback is that you cannot get OTA?

If your CSC contains OXM (check with *#1234# in your dialer), you can flash every OXM-firmware released.
But: if that build is not released in your country, you won't get OTA-updates.
If your country will get a newer build, and you flash that to your device, than you'll receive OTA's again...

(SM-N960F) : I'm on Official Pie, but via sideloading, how to return to OTA updates

I used the betas in this thread, so I of course flashed the firmware recommended this one via Odin, now I don't know if I will receive OTA updates or not? how to check for it and make sure everything is stock and normal again? should I download my country's firmware from Sammobile and flash it via Odin then wait for updates?

I think if you go to the native update settings in settings and just do a manual check that should let you know if the system works

For the love of god, why can I not flash T-Mobiles firmware in patched Odin? It fails

I'm not new around here, and I've used Odin many times, but I am trying to flash the T-Mobile firmware on my S10 and it fails EVERY DANG TIME!!!!!!!!! I have all the file selected, and again it's the patched Odin, I just do not understand. PLEASE, help me. Image is attached.
Please for the love of god someone help I will paypal someone 20 dollars if they can help me figure out why it always fails.
I am currently downgrading from Beta 7 to Pie 9 BSIV as we speak on my Sprint S10 using ODIN 3.13.1. Did you download the software using Frija? I am also on a Sprint phone flashing Sprint firmware, is the phone you have originally from T Mobile? If you didn't download the firmware using Frija I would re download it using that and try it.

No I found the firmware on here. Everytime I put the corresponding fields in Odin, it always fails, and I don't understand why.

Download most recent firmware using frija. I bet the one you trying to flash is older than what the phone is currently on. You can't flash older firmware no matter what even if using patched Odin.
abl.efl is bootloader, it is normal to fail at bootloader, cause that bootloader is older than the actually one you do have.
You either have to remove bootloader from firmware (if you can), or flash another firmware with the same - or higher bootloader.
Why don't you use stock Odin?

Wont software update

I recently flashed my Samsung Galaxy s10 SM-G973U to be able to take any sim. In doing so my phone won't update anymore. Wen I try to search for a software update I get the take it to a service center message. I am running one ui 2.0 but I would really like to have 2.1. If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.
So you flashed the U1 firmware? Do a factory reset. If that doesn't fix it, you can find the patched version of Odin floating around the forums here and use it to flash whatever latest firmware you want as long as it's U or U1 firmware.
