I have 10 posts, yet it still tells me I need 10 posts to post.

I'm trying to get help with a custom ROM I am using, but I can't post in the support thread because it says I need 10 posts. I happen to have 10 posts, with this one 11.
Would PM a mod asking for help, but I can't even send PM's apparently?
Can I mod please approve my account or whatever is needed? Thank you.

as what i know,
xda updates every hour,
so you should wait a little for the system to update,
just be patient,
also ib4l...

Let the system update itself, it might take ten minutes, it might take hours, if it doesn't work in a while, then you can pm a moderator or someone of the like to help resolve the issue.

[Q] Which ROM to install?

Since the moderator closed my thread without even reading what I wrote, as if a bot or something, let me try again....
Can anyone recommend an Android 4.4x ROM that works rooted, and works with the latest TWRP?
I want all the basic features to work. I read that Viper won't work with the compass with changing the kernel, and Bad Boyz Sprint ONE ROMz won't work with the latest TWRP.
I don't want to install 20 different ROMs and test each when other people already did that already, that's the whole point of the internet.

Sorry but I saw your last thread and he was right to close it. Roms can't be recommended. Isn't a written rule but it's common courtesy. To recommend a Rom is to say that one Rom is better than another. Do you understand what I mean

This IS NOT a forum for comparison.

[Mod][App] Dolby Digital Plus For All Android One Smartphones

Dolby Surround Plus App is really a worth app which is ported to Android One Smartphones by Informationlord which is quiet stable.
Instructions to Install DOLBY SURROUND PLUS ON ALL ANDROID SMARTPHONES :

My Kindle Fire 7" 4th gen is running 5.4.0.1
I was told that I could downgrade to 4.5.3, root, and do something with TWRP to upgrade back up to 5.4.0.0 with root.
Help is appreciated. I would like to get root.
Also. If this is not possible, Can I still downgrade to 5.4.0.0 from 5.4.0.1

Question Custom ROM in Chinese S8+ Tab

Hi, I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S8+ in Jingdong (in Mainland China) and I'd like to install another ROM so I can use Google Services normally. I've seen the guides and I'm ready to follow them, but I'm not really sure of what ROM should I install to achieve my goal. Thank you so much for your kind help.

GSIs are very basic officially supplied ROMs. I am unfamiliar with where you get one compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8/+/Ultra, though. You should probably ask in that GSI thread if a general internet search doesn't help.

Thank you so much. Yes, I have thoroughly searched the internet (Chinese and Western) with no luck. I'll give a try. And thanks for the advice on the forum rules, I'll follow them from now on.
