Original Xiaomi Charger - Xiaomi Poco F1 Accessories

I have been looking at many forums, websites and even contacted the party involved (Mi Spain) for a while and I am very surprised that it is impossible to buy a Xiaomi charger (fast or not) in an official store, whether physical or online. You are referred to pages such as Amazon, Aliexpress or Pccomponents (this in the case of Mi Spain) but after searching:
- Amazon has higher prices but even in the comments you can read that they are not original, I don't know if they have the 20-digit code or not.
- Aliexpress: out of every 3, 4 are false. It is where I have looked the most and not even those who come in supposedly official boxes (I no longer speak of those that come in plastic bags) have the code.
- Pc components: they do not have directly, so I do not understand that My Spain derives you to them.
On other websites (tuxiaomi, gearbest, etc.) more of the same. Or they don't have or are fake.
I open this thread in case someone is in the same situation as me. In my case I have a Poco F1 that comes with a fast charger but I wanted to buy a "slow" one because I prefer not to use the fast charge.
Thank you

I don't know why you face such difficulties while in my country (India), Xiaomi itself directly sells the chargers online and that too at a very reasonable price.

Yes. I don't know why in Spain this isn't possible. Besides, I can't buy in Indian website from Spain

I don't care about official store chargers. When I need slow charge, I just use regular charger that came with my old phone, Philips Xenium W732 in my case.

The original charger isn't special at all , any 5v-2A charger from a genuine brand would do exactly the same job. Just take any genuine charger from a reputable brand and you're good to go.

The original charger is not soo good, but maybe it was cheaper for them to ship like this.

$15 for a quality product, I'm in!
Sadly, I don't see it on gearbest, am I missing something?
It's on Gearbest for $35 and a few on Aliexpress for ~$29. Seems need to wait for price to drop for buying it to make sense.
Oh, thanks.
Yep, I'll wait a few days/weeks

Is the one on gearbest legit though? I thought they were supposed to say "MI" on them but in all of the pics on Gearbest they don't say MI.

It doesn't have a logo on the top, that was only present in promotional images.
I dont know about that wireless charger stuff. I have had one, a bit more expensive than the mi charger. Totally useless, you have to align it perfrctly to charge the phone, which is very tidious. I think its better to invest that money to get a second cable charger and a longer cable perhaps..
Has someone bought/tried it? I've bought it from joybuy but I'm still waiting (shipping time is about 6-10 days).

I don't know what phone/charger combo you had but the experience should be better. My current Nexus 5 charges on my cheap chinese mat as long as it is on top of it.

What is the input for the Xiaomi wireless charger? Look on the bottom of the wireless charger for Input and it will say a Voltage and Current in Amps.
5.0v - 2.0a 9.0v - 2.0a

Mine arrived this weekend. Does anyone else have one? It charges incredibly slow for me - started charging at 12AM at 65%, and but 8:00AM it was only at 90%.

It doesn't seem to support quick charging even though it is supposed to be the official Xiaomi wireless charger. I'm new to wireless charging so I don't know if the slower charging speed is normal or not. I keep my phone charged between 40% and 80% and do top offs when I get the chance. Sometimes the wireless charging seems pretty fast. Yesterday it seemed to take forever to charge from 55% to 80%. Maybe charging speed has something to do with the way the phone is positioned on the charger. I haven't figured out what's going on with it yet. Hopefully somebody else has some insight.
Can't tell yet, waiting mine to arrive.
I bought my Mi Mix 2S and accessoires via tradingshenzhen.
Don't know how good international shipping is, but they ship via EU warehouse or china warehouse.
It's 22€ or ~25$ on their site.
https://tradingshenzhen.com/de/sonstiges/1213-xiaomi-millet-wirelesscharger.html
The phone is already here because it was via EU warehouse.
Will report back on usability of the wireless charger once it has arrived.
Mine charges reasonably fast with bulk chinese wireless charger. Charging coil is positioned exactly in the middle of the phone, and aligning the phone with charger makes a huge difference.

[Q] Has anybody used their OP chargers to charge your K20pro?

I have an extra OP3 dash charger lying around, and wanted to know if it's compatible with my K20pro.
I´ve tied OP3 charger. It´s charging but won´t give you fast charging. Charging current is only about 1 400 mA compared to 3 300 mA of the k20 charger and other quick charge compatible chargers.
Fast charging wont happen because the Charging technology is different.. OP supports DASH charging (higher Amperage) while MI supports QC fast charging (higher Voltage)..
anyone tried a charger that supports PD (like a laptop charger) supposedly compatiable with QC 3.0

Yes, I've bought this one https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/ccvHALio
Works OK. Mostly charges at 12v/2a Have seen it hit 12v/2.25a once. These figures are what's reported by HavocOS charging display. I've know idea how accurate they are.
@jaidev.s @zdenex thanks, gives me more reason to order stuff from fleabay, I was thinking of ordering Ringke Fusion X, a 27W quick charger for the k20pro and some things for the missus. Sucks thought as the shipping costs an arm, a leg, and a kidney.

I dunno where you live, but if you are in India, Xiaomi has launched official 27W charger for Redmi K20 Pro, priced at 999 INR ($14.5). Or you could buy the 27W charger Xiaomi released for Mi 9. Both are less costly and more reliable.
Of course, or you could get Belkin's QC4.0+ charger. But its costly.

No, I live in somewhere even drier and humid than India - in Qatar. I got my K20pro from those overpriced resellers in China, hands and palms were just too itchy to have a new phone specifically the K20pro.

I don't think any of the Anker, Aukey, Ravpower etc (even ones that are 50W, 65W or more) can charge this phone at max speed due to difference in protocols. I'd love If I can find a third party charger to charge phone at full speed.
However, some people suggested this:
https://www.ebay.fr/itm/202868041821
It's a little expensive, but it should be a genuine charger.
However if you didn't have that in mind and wanted something different, any charger you use that has a PD or QC 3.0 standard will charge the phone at 18W.
Thank you for the reply! I have several 18w chargers & I found a 30w wrap charger that comes withe the one plus 8 I matter of fact I don't have the possibility to buy online only at local stores unfortunately, but thank very much for your advice and have a nice day.

Accessories 67W UK charger

Hello all.
Does anyone know where I can get a UK 67w charger (the Xiaomi MDY-12-ET charger), specifically the UK version rather than an international one with an adaptor? There was a seller on ebay but he doesn't think he'll be getting any more. Xiaomi have declined to help.
Any suggestions of somewhere to buy one - or any workarounds - will be very gratefully received.
Thanks,
Graeme

Question Any idea why the 80 watt charger isn't even listed on the oneplus uk website?

Just tried to replace my 80 watt charger and it's not even listed on their website, oneplus support won't even explain why this is, just that it's out of stock, other things are out of stock yet remain listed?

I asked three times a very simple question.
They'd told me it's not in stock.
So I said.
"Yes I understand that. However the wireless charger is also out of stock yet it is still listed on the website.
Why isn't the 80 watt charger listed, regardless if it's available or not?"
Literally just repeated themselves over and over.
They even asked for my device order number several times, lol I got it on contract from a provider, I have no orde number.. also I had to put my details in to get on the chat??
Mate it's painful talking to them, if you expect to get a straight answer, you won't, it's like talking to an MP who's trying to avoid the question.. you leave the chat and you've lost intelligence.
They're really falling down hard from my perspective.

Difference with 65W and 80W in this phone is small.
80W charger is advertised charge 0-100% in 32min. 65W charger is advertised to charge full in 34min. GSMArena got 0-100% in 32min with 65W charger.

I've no idea I've never used the 65watt version...I understand it's due to the limits of the American plugs.
15W isn't Negligible amount tbh mate, is be very surprised if there was no difference
65w should work Fine on 10 Pro. You can use it safely.
I charged my 9 Pro 0-100 % in 27 minutes. The phone Power OFF.
Maybe it is a problem with the certificate.
UK is no longer in the EU. This Charger has only the CE certificate. No UKCA. This is just a guess ....
Surprisingly same phenomenon on India website as well. The 80W adapter has no mention at all!
Someone who purchased the phone recently can confirm if they are shipping with 80W or 65W in the box
confirmed. I have a 80w in the box.
I have to take back my statement
CE + UK declaration
I'm starting to think this is a supply problem.
It is better to sell the charger with the phone than to sell separately.... Just thinking
