So looking at the differences, Band 12 looks to be missing from the 9T/K20 lineups.... Has anyone had any experiences with the 9T on TMobile. Missing Band 12 a huge issue? Really thinking of getting a Mi 9T Pro as they become more available. Not understanding why Xiaomi eliminated Band 12 from its 9T lineup... maybe I'll just wait for the OnePlus 7T Pro...

I know this is a year old, but i do use my Mi9tpro on T-mobile in St. Louis Missouri and it seems to work perfectly fine!
it only uses bands 4 and 2 for lte and will sporadically drop a couple bars in random spots of the city but i still am always connected to LTE. my speeds very depending one where i am and what band im on but it ranges from 8mbps - ~40+ mbps in some areas.
I've read that we have pretty similar hardware to the oneplus 7 pro (tmobile version) and was wondering if there is a way to make our phones turn on the tmobile network bands :/ just a lot of reading ahead of me!

Will the Mi5 come with unlockable LTE bands ?

As I've come to believe from various sources the official supported bands are as follows:
4G FDD-LTE bands 1 / 3 / 7
4G TDD-LTE bands 38 / 39 / 40 / 41
3G TD-SCDMA bands 34 / 39
3G WCDMA bands 1 / 2 / 5 / 8
3G CDMA 2000 bands BC0 / BC1
2G GSM bands 2 / 3 / 5 / 8
2G CDMA 1X BC0 / BC1
Now since I live in europe .. my ISP's most used 4g (LTE) band is 20 (800mhz) and so it is not supported..
Will it be possible to unlock this band via QPST - QXDM modification, or has the band been disabled on the hardware side of the chip itself ?
I know it's very early on, but I have been anticipating the arrival of MI5 for months now, only to find a lack of european LTE support ...
thanks in advance for any info !!!
I also wonder this! Would be great for the 4G coverage here in Europe!
I'm also curious about this. If LTE band 20 is unlockable I'll buy one right away
It would be nice to know if it would be possible. I am also very interested in this phone

Well, that does only mean that the device does not officially support others bands. The question however was, if other bands can be unlocked.

We'll all just probably have to wait until someone has one in hand and can test some different SIM Card to see what it actually will support... Needless to say though is if someone at least tests with either a TMO SIM or ATT SIM and they work.... one can assume that all 18 bands do... now it's a waiting game

I'm pretty sure it will not have all of those bands. Out of luck if you want to use this and are on Verizon, Sprint, AT&T or T-Mobile.
They just updated the supported bands and they have some of my country.. But I don't understand quite well the difference in the 800hz to 1800 to even 2600.. if for example my device catches the 1800 band but not the others, will the signal be good, or to be perfect in need to pick them all?
Also, higher frequency means better signal?

Yes is it confirmed ! But if many people say it Xiaomi can't make Lte Global because Samsung and Apple don't want this...
But I'm sure it's not hardware but software and it possible to unlock this ?
And Xiaomi wont to shop in international but in late 2017 and this MI5 there are Lte Global in late 2017 Sorry for people want it me to
The question has not actually been answered: is anyone aware of any possibilities to unlock, via a kernel perhaps, the bands which should be supported by the hardware?
There's a good chance if you can unlock bootloader, Hugo Barra said in an interview that the India version will have those unlocked and not the model sold in China.

defective oneplus 3t

I think I have a defective oneplus 3t. This phone never shows 4g/LTE. I have metro PC and H2o and neither shows 4g.

TL; DR My guess is that you have a European or Asian model, instead of a North American model.
EDIT: I see your app is showing your device as an A3000 which is the NA model... Did you buy it new? Any chance North American firmware has been flashed on a non NA device?

LTE Carrier Aggregation / Bands Info

Similar to LTE in the UK I would seek info about the LTE Cat12 Modem in the Honor 10 Lite: which LTE Bands are supported and is there support for Carrier Aggregation?
The Bands of interest for me (possibly all supported in this order): B3 (1800+), B20, B7 (2600), B1 (2100), B32
According to gadgetsnow.com there is support only for: 4G Bands TD-LTE 2300 (band 40), FD-LTE 1800 (band 3)
Just got the Honor 10 Lite yesterday I'm using a "Three" sim.
Here's the Connectivity specs :
Frequency band: 4G LTE FDD: B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20 3G UMTS: B1/2/5/8 2G GSM: B2/3/5/8; Network rate: 4G LTE FDD: 150 Mbit/s(DL), 50 Mbit/s(UL) 3G WCDMA (HSDPA/ HSUPA): 42 Mbit/s(DL), 5.76Mbit/s(UL) 2G GPRS/EDGE:
296Kbit/s(DL), 236.8Kbit/s(UL); Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 2.4GHz; Support Wi-Fi Hotspot; USB 2.0; Bluetooth 4.2+BLE

Ok, so just B32 is missing for my area. If you plan to root the phone I would be interested if Carrier Aggregation support could be tested. Not sure if in your area CA2 or CA3 (combining of 2 or 3 bands) is available? This would double or triple the speed.

Not sure If I'm going to root this phone. Got a few apps that don't play well with routed devices,
As for CA support. "Three" in the UK just started testing it in a few regions in the UK (as of 1st Nov 2018) I'm not in one of those regions (Closest CA test area for me is Glasgow) so can't test it at the moment.
Honor 10lite carrier aggregation support?
is there any way to Enable carrier aggregation on Honor 10lite with kirin710 cheap?
As where Honor Company didnt care about Customers.
And this is qustion for me why this Function is disabled in this device altogh we see so many huawei device with same cheap but those device support 4.5g and ca
Could anyone share a screenshot of honor 10lite while the sign of 4.5g or 4g+ is captured on screen. Tanks in advance.
I doubt this device support 4.5g network connection cus we cannot see carrier aggregation box in mobile network settings

GM1910 carrier compatibility in US

I noticed the supported frequencies differ slightly on the US and China product specs, specifically the GM1910 China model is missing FDD-LTE bands 30 and 71, but includes band 32.
GM1910 (China)
FDD LTE: B1,2,3,4,5,7,8,12,13,17,18,19,20,25,26,28,29,32,66
TDD-LTE: B34,38,39,40,41
TDS: B34,39
UMTS: B1,2,4,5,8,9,19
CDMA: BC0,BC1
GSM: B2,3,5,8
GM1915 (US)
FDD LTE: B1,2,3,4,5,7,8,12,13,17,18,19,20,25,26,28,29,30,66,71
TDD-LTE: B34,38,39,41,46,48
UMTS: B1,2,4,5,8,9,19
CDMA: BC0,BC1
GSM: B2,3,5,8
How will this affect carrier compatibility? I've seen it is possible to flash OxygenOS ROMs on the GM1910, how does this work if the hardware is slightly different to support different frequencies?
