K20 Pro hard stuck in bootloader & No OS Installed & Guides didn't work - Redmi K20 Pro / Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro Questions & Answe

Hey,
I am in trouble with the K20 Pro (raphael). The first day I bought the device, I installed EU ROM v10.3.17.0 and used for a while. There was no problem. After that, I installed Magisk-v19.3.zip from TWRP and MagiskManager-v7.3.2.apk when Android booted. I just checked to see root privileges. I saw the ROOTED from the a root checker program. Afterwards, I had to transfer the IMEI number of my old phone to the new phone. Therefore, i updated the both IMEI numbers via COM port using WriteDualIMEI program. (adb shell -> su setprop sys.usb.config diag) Finally, I have a bootloop problem on my phone for 2 days. Android is not booting in any way.
What I have tried until now:
1. Installed xiaomi.eu_multi_HMK20ProMI9TPro_9.8.22_v10-10 on PitchBlack-raphael-2.9.0-20190708-0004 (Endless android booting stuck)
2. Format Data -> "yes" and Wipe Cache & Dalvik & System & Data & Vendor & Internal Storage and then installed xiaomi.eu_multi_HMK20ProMI9TPro_V10.3.17.0.PFKCNXM_v10-9 (bootloop stuck)
3. I don't know in which situations but sometimes I get "No OS Installed! Are you sure you wish to reboot?" error after installing ROM.
4. Only happened once: Android booted and white spinning progress circle appeared at center on screen. After spinning for 60 seconds, it redirected to the TWRP menu.
Current status: I flashed Fastboot ROM (raphaelin_in_global_images_V10.3.5.0.PFKINXM_20190816.0000.00_9.0_in_5d0a303019) on Fastboot via MiFlash 2018..11.15.0. But i got "not catch checkpoint" error when the process is finished. It Redirected to Redmi-Recovery 3.0 screen. At the bottom of the screen, there was a error: NV data is corrupted
Is my device bricked? How can i fix that?
Thanks
Device: K20 Pro (raphael)
TWRP: 3.3.1-2

Unlocked
P.S: I apologize if there are grammatical errors.

Try to fastboot flash MIUI 10.3.16.0 without locking bootloader.
I have no catch checkpoint error too but It automatically boots into MIUI.

How can i get MIUI Fastboot 10.3.16.0 ROM? I couldn't find here. I found the V10.3.8.0PFKCNXM Fastboot

Why do you play with IMEI numbers?

If the IMEI tax is expensive in your country, it makes sense.

Finally, I fixed that problem. I copied the EFS to TWRP/BACKUPS/your_serial_number/. i had previously backed up. I used the LR team's TWRP, see here. Thank you @theincognito
I installed this ROM via Fastboot, i don't like it. There are so many dipsh*t CN apps and fonts are weird. It's like I'm using the phone in two languages. I am thinking about to install 10.3.17 EU ROM, is that worthy? Or should i install 9.8.29 Q ? I just want everything to be stable, new and up-to-date. Thanks...

Do you mean EU Android Q 9.8.8 ? What is the difference between 10.3.17 and 9.8.8? Version went backwards but the Android is Q. Are the MIUI versions same?

9.8.8 is beta rom, released on 201'9'-0'8'-0'8'
10.3.17.0 is stable miui 10 rom.
The reason latest beta rom seems backdated than stable rom because of the naming scheme. Beta roms actually has most recent elements than stable roms.

Because, IMEI legal registration fee must be made for each phone that brought from abroad. It's about ~$266. And K20 Pro ~$345, Also %18 VAT, Also %25 Special Consumption Tax, Also %6 TRT Bandrol, And finally the base price $345, which is 1978₺ Turkish Liras, comes to an average of ~4500₺ Liras which is ~$785. I'm buying one for myself, and one for the government. If you take a phone from abroad and try to bring it into the own country, you have to pay ~618₺ Liras free to legal registration which is ~$110. Shortly, iPhone 11 Pro Max 512G ($1499) comes to $2614. Pêrfecto!

No IMEI, MAC, damaged sensors
I have the following problem:
I made a Nandroid backup with TWRP without knowing that I was not able to RESTORE, playing a bit for the system fell into Hard brickeo ... revived from there I only remain without working IMEI, Wifi and sensors. I cannot restore my backup since my TWRP could not, what I already did:
+ Flash Rom stock with MiFlash
+ Flash Persist.img with TWRP
My question is if I can restore that backup with a different TWRP and how can I do without dying since I tried and stayed dead once.

Notes
1) It has been confirmed that's working on EMUI 4.1. However, it haven't been tested on EMUI 5 and i don't know if encryption is working. If it is working, you won't have to format /data. So, i would be glad if someone could test it.
2) I've chose the red color because it looks kinda cool and it's also easy to know which recovery you're using. In future, i may change it back to blue or i may change it to other color (like teal). I may also do it like @Meticulus did for his TWRP's (red color when you're on EMUI and blue when you're on LineageOS etc.) or maybe a new color every time you go to recovery lol.
3) There are still some things with blue color. I'll look into it more as I'd like to change the whole blue color. I wanna do it in the source code.

If you meant chinese language, then it doesn't have it as far as i can see. If you meant the chinese model of Nova, well it should work on all models.

I don't have any problem with backups. I've made backups and restored them without any problem. As for OTG, I don't have the possibility to test that.

Well, seems the sd card was buggy, replaced it with a new samsung evo and
everything went smooth from there. (seems ext sd is the only selectable storage).
Now, have you noticed the warning about "project" part during backup?
is it normal?

Could you share a screenshot? You can take screenshots in recovery just like you do when your phone is booted. You can also share a recovery log.
Actually, It's Product no Project!

nothing important I guess?

I haven't received any PM. Maybe it's XDA's fault as it looks like it's fucked up. All my posts were delayed today and noticed the same thing at other users.
Well, I didn't have this problem, but /product has some files (like acdbata, needed for audio) which EMUI uses and LineageOS or other ROMs too (since it's using blobs from EMUI). So, this could be a problem for ROMs like Lineage, but I think you can just fastboot the product.img after you extract it from update.app (stock firmware).
You can also try to restore this TWRP backup of product partition and restore it.

Thanks, as you may read the log later, it gave 2 errors at beginning and the end that it could not read or open Product. something like that.
I'm still on B151 MM Rom , will this backup of product work with any version?
Ok , my fear came true, long story short: I installed latest rom via FF app and bootloop began.
tried many ways, didnt work. flashed twrp again and tried to restore that nandroid backup, turns out those 2 errors were serious: failed to mount cust, failed to mount product, system goes near end then another error and quits. only boot and data seems restored fine.
while i'm going to try that smoochi's backup (bless him) , can you please recheck to see if my case was some isolated issue or there is something to fix about this reccovery?
thanks
Hi...youve learned the lesson...never install from FF...ive been using twrp for quite a while on my nova plus and never had such problems except once cuz i tried to restore a backup that ive done format/data...then got into bootloop..
What are you planning to use...emui4 or 5 ?

I was on emui 4 (B151) everything was fine until I got an itch to try android 7!
Ok, I restored with smoochi backup then updated to B341 , now cust is gone
(no update in setting either) so went to reflash this twrp , but it seems unlocking bootloader is not enough, now says FRP locked! wtf??
I already hate this android 7! I'll get back to 6 first chance i get !
I had same problem...theme manager not working...file and updade manager gone so...
Frp locked is OEM unlock in developement...it must be ON...
Im still on emui4 and will stay on it ?

Help with Redmi k20 Pro

Hi I'm not sure if I'm posting this thread in the correct forum but I recently purchased a Redmi K20 Pro from eBay and me not knowing it was a China version with a Global ROM and unlocked bootloader on it. The way I found about this was when I tried to use GPay and it didn't work telling me my devices was unlocked, so did some research and found some guides online about how to fix it non of them being very user friendly most of them telling to do some things without informing you of previous steps that are necessary. But currently I'm on a Miui 10 Global 10.3.2 Stable and was wondering if that's the most up to date system for it, or whether there's another that can be used on it. Also how do you flash other ROMs on the device and what raphael and error 7. Sorry if it doesn't make much sense I'm just trying to figure things out.

When you purchase a phone with the bootloader unlocked, explain that you bought a refurbished mobile phone or a stolen mobile phone. If you want to re-lock the BootLoader, you can use Xiaomi's official flash tool and download the official ROM. After flashing, the phone will re-lock the boot loader. However, please note that you may not be able to activate your phone because you do not know who unlocked your phone. Because the unlocker is authenticated after locking the BootLoader.

You wiped the OS. The OS lives in the system partition, so it's not a good idea to wipe it if you're not about to install another ROM.
Flash a fastboot ROM with the Mi Flash Tool. Just make sure you change the default flash option at the bottom of the tool. You must change it to 'clean all'.
There's are other things you can do, but this is easiest way to get a working phone again. Once again. CHANGE THE DEFAULT FLASH OPTION when using the Mi Flash Tool.

you should not have to wipe the system, always wipe dalvik cache and data not system. you can't boot system or copy files because of encrypted data. you have to flash rom again by using miflash tools with indian fastboot rom .
After flashing the rom if u want to use unencrypted storage then use this script through twrp - format the data and flash.

After flashing the rom if u want to use unencrypted storage then use this script through twrp - format the data and flash.

I also get this error when I select a ROM "cannt find flash script" what does this mean?
just format the data from twrp recovery (where you type "yes") and then you should be able to copy ROM into internal storage again.

I think I deleted something while I was in TWRP recovery and it encrypted the phone in turn not allowing me to write files on the phone.

I wish I knew that before I flashed the China ROM back on the device with Mi Flash and locked the bootloader, now apparently I have to wait 7 days before I can unlock the device with Mi Unlock, unless there;s another way to do it then please I'm all ears, But so far that's all I've managed to do., and I'm thankful the device is still working and I haven;t brcked it or anything,

Just be thankful you've restored the phone and wait out the 7 days. I would suggest using that time to do more reading of these forums, so you can understand more about how to do the things you want and what things not to do.
I appreciate there's a lot of information to take in, but until you're more experienced with flashing ROMs, etc. I would recommend not doing anything if you've not understood what each step in the process does and why you need to do it.
Now you've learnt that the system partition is where the OS lives and why it's not a good idea to wipe it in TWRP without a good reason.

Yeah I'm very thankful, also the only thing I want is to be able to use the phone and all it's features,m and have the most up to date OS. From what I was told 10.4.6.0 is latest stable Miui Version for my device K20 Pro CN, please let me know if this information is correct also I wanted to fix GPay since it wasn't working and so far the guides I've seen are pretty complicated and wish there was a simplified version or one that was more user friendly. Apart from this nothing else, never experienced so much hardship from buying a phone within the first few days.
But thanks for the replies.

10.4.6 is latest chinese stable miui version. 10.4.8 is indian one.
To fix gpay, you have this pretty simple tutorial: https://forum.xda-developers.com/k20-pro/how-to/guide-google-pay-fix-t3964698
As you wiped system, you have several options to fix it: flash stock chinese in miflash tool (as you did, but not locking bootloader). You also could just flashed twrp by fastboot command and dirty flash same .zip rom...
There's nothing that hard here, you just should not wipe system partition. you should not lock your bootloader in miflash tool. too simple...

Yoi cannot flash, clean or dirty, with a locked botloader. They should update that app and make the clean all and lock not the default option and make it red or something.
Virtually all issues in the k20 pro forum come from people locking their bootloader this way.
There's nothing you can do right now. Use it locked until you can unlock it again. Be thankful you didn't brick the device.

You should get an update but you can flash it as a rom too. I'm actually currently using xiaomi.eu based on MIUI 11 with android 10. It's basically miui without bloat and ads.

Sure. Here you go.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/k20-pro/how-to/rom-miui-11-xiaomi-eu-t3973685
Currently this is the beta version, since there is no miui 11 official stable build.
That doesn't mean, however, that the ROM is not stable. For me at least it's been perfect for daily use. By far the ROM with the least amount of bugs as of now. If you want though, they do have miui 10 based on Android 10 stable 10.4.6 I believe. They release their roms shortly after xiaomi releases their builds.

[GSI] [Android 13] Nord N10 GSI flasher. EU and Global.

First of all I'm not a developer. I`m not skilled enough to compile stuff myself.
I'm only using available stuff and write some basic scripts.
About
This is a simple script that will automatically delete the "Product" partition, resize the "System" partition to its maximum size, and flash the GSI image onto the device.
Make sure that your OnePlus runs latest (11.0.10) firmware. Tested on my personal device - EU variant. Global variant untested. Using at your own risk.
How to? Instrucions are available in zip file
Download
EU : https://mega.nz/file/7QxX3CJS#3eEyW61h9GAqubtgB8vtrF9c258Um9Iezb-uayBePSY
GLOBAL : https://mega.nz/file/2JBSgSID#9QR6I2nc5mJ0IVhoFtMwRZj3Eu4RbsuGOx59a5FFCI4
GSI LIST : https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/wiki/Generic-System-Image-(GSI)-list
SafetyNet-Fix (Magisk Module) : https://github.com/kdrag0n/safetynet-fix/releases
Since it's GSI, bugs are expected. I only recommend this for testing ROMs features/customizability. If you want stable ROM for now you need to stay on stock. Just wait for more expirienced dev to port LineageOS to our awasome device.
18.02.2023 :
-EU variant updated to 11.0.10, global still 11.0.8
-Added LineageOS recovery maded by kronflux
15.011.2022 :
-Files updated to 11.0.8 version.
05.09.2022 :
-Misc script improvments.
16.08.2022 :
-Files updated to 11.0.7 version.
-Added stock "boot.img" for those who don't wanna root.
27.07.2022 :
-Initial relesae.
Will this work for the BE86AA version?
How's it working out for you op?
Has anyone got fingerprint work in GSI? When I tried it last time, it worked only to unlock the device. It didn't work on any apps that uses biometric. Will you update script to 11.0.7?
Anyone have tested GSI rom ?

I use this as my daily: https://sourceforge.net/projects/gsi-projects/files/v415/ArrowOS-12.1/
I picked this one: ArrowOS-12.1-arm64_bgN-vndklite-Unofficial.img.xz
Tried LineageOS both 18 and 19 and it can't boot with magisk installed.
ArrowOS booting and passing safetynet. The only bug i found is bluetooth audio. The rest works just fine.

Anyone else besides OP attempted this with the US/GLOBAL variant of this phone? I tried this two days ago, soft bricked my phone and the last error I got was something about the partition being too small and eventually lead me to "qualcomm crash dump mode" but I thankfully got my device back up and running with the MSM tools provided by another XDA member, despite the issues I've encountered I'm still excited to try a GSI with this device eventually lol.

Make sure you have installed latest ADB and fastboot.
Edit: If you expirienced error like this you probably booted to bootloader mode. You need to reboot your device to fastboot mdoe.
Any theories on getting this working on the BE2028?. Im rooted on the pixel rom? As my previous post mentions the script didn't work for this device. I'm interested in getting at least android 12 on this device any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm aware of the risks!
I figured out a safer way to test them thanks though.
Hello,
Trying to flash same arrow rom as OP and following the instructions step by step, but I can't get to fastbootd. Regular fastboot works fine as i unlocked the bootloader. Tried fastboot reboot fastboot, but it reboots to a menu with a choice of languages, navigation works only through volume, power buttons. Any advice?
Thanks

AFAIK Fastbootd was a thing in later versions of android which allowed certain partitions to be resized dynamically (e.g. with OTA updates). While Google I believe supported it in A10, other manufacturers may not have implemented it until later versions. I've never seen it on the Nord N10, but I stopped using this phone for a while.
Thus... you likely have only the OnePlus recovery and fastboot partitions - not the ones that OP had for whatever was running prior to flashing Arrow (Maybe a later OOS version, or another ROM? Sorry, too lazy to read the whole thread).
As long as you end up with the right partitions in the end, what you used to load them doesn't matter. While I haven't tried a GSI on the N10, IIRC they don't use a lot of the partitions that OnePlus ships with and you are probably fine. What happens if you just flash through the old-school fastboot?
(Also... you understand the whole A/B thing, right? This is the root of like 80% of flashes that go south).

This is fastbootd. When you are in this menu run "fastboot devices" command to confirm that. I belive that OnePlus integrated somehow recovery and fastbootd because the menu are almost identical in both. But in recovery or bootloader you can't use my script it will only work in fastbootd mode.
Is there any chance of you making a version for the US BE2026 variant?

Question Xiaomi EU rom

My phone has arrived and in few days, I ll attempt to switch to the EU ROM
(I ve bought a CN unit, which arrived nice and sealed in its box)
So, I ll attempt to follow this guide to the letter: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/howto-install-fastboot-image.64508/
Heading over to sourceforge, I can see that the latest stable releases for my phone are one from AUG and one from MAY i.e.
xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11Pro_MI11Ultra_V13.0.13.0.SKACNXM_v13-12.zip
2022-08-05
xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11Pro_MI11Ultra_V13.0.12.0.SKACNXM_v13-12-fastboot.zip
2022-05-13
But according to that guide, it says "download latest fastboot" image. And thats the older one released in MAY (V13.0.12.0...)
So I presume I cannot use the latest V13.0.13.0 (released in AUG) for this method!?
Is there a fastboot (V13.0.13.0) in the making, so perhaps I could wait a little longer for that?
Or do I just use the one released 6 months ago?

Without functional TWRP in A12, Xiaomi Eu rom provided roms in Fastboot .zip.
Now that there is a TWRP, the roms are in Zip.
Either you use a Fastboot .zip and update via Ota or you install the Twrp and flash the rom.
For updates you must go through the Ota and not flash directly with the TWRP.

Regarding TWRP, do I get the latest version (skkk) or the one from TeamWin? (because both are intended for 11 Ultra I think - codenamed "star")
My guess is skkk, which also says "A12"
Then I can use "xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11Pro_MI11Ultra_V13.0.13.0.SKACNXM_v13-12.zip", which seems to be latest
I plan to use this guide - I hope it is accurate (it says "unofficial"!)

Just done the same thing yesterday. Use 3.70_12-v6.5_A12-star-skk.img. I had problems with fastboot V13.0.12.0.SKACNXM_v13-12-fastboot had failed status read failed (too many links) errors. But think that's just my adb setup in Windows 11. So just used fastboot to boot twrp. Then in twrp flashed twrp to ramdisk reboot to recovery and flashed xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11Pro_MI11Ultra_V13.0.13.0.SKACNXM_v13-12.zip formatted data reboot to systsem. Working V13.0.13.0. I ended up just copying V13.0.13.0.zip and twrp to a flash drive mounted OTG in twrp and installed. Only because of issues with laptop.

Now, I ve backed up everything and was about to flash the phone to latest stable MIUI
But just realised v14 was released in the meantime, in December
But for the 11 Ultra, there is only weekly ROM available (no stable)
Looks like I ll have to extend my wait
As for v13, I can still see that the latest is xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11Pro_MI11Ultra_V13.0.13.0.SKACNXM_v13-12.zip
I wonder - will there be another v13 release for this phone?
Should I go with this latest v13 or wait for the first stable v14 (star) release?
Sometimes, having been presented with choices, makes it so hard to decide! But for sure, I need a stable build for this phone..

Whether Weekly or stable, both are based on the Chinese rom.
For the stable you will have to wait while Xiaomi releases the rom.
I use the Weekly when available and they are really "stable".
Note that if you install a Weekly and move to the stable you will have to format the data.
Also going from A12 to A13, formatting the data is not mandatory but I recommend it.

Ah, OK - so there's no 'stable' MIUI v14 for the 11 Ultra yet? I get it..
As for the format consideration, I m a huge fan of clean installs too. I guess I ll go with v13 for the time being, as I don't have much of a time luxury to wait for the official stable v14..
Seems like it v14 (stable) has just been released for the 11 Ultra!
xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11Pro_MI11Ultra_V14.0.6.0.TKACNXM_v14-13.zip
But is this ROM meant to be installed via fastboot or twrp?
In my mind, it is still not clear what the difference is between fastboot and twrp
I can only presume that twrp is essentially a GUI (vs just typing commands in fastboot!?) But I m not really sure anymore
I ve been an Galaxy S series user over the last years. Back then, I used to flash a new ROM via "Odin". Was that using the twrp method or fastboot? I m sorry, but I m totally confused now
Since twrp is an extra software that needs to be installed on the phone - isn't that come with any drawbacks? What is the more 'clean' approach to installing an MIUI on the 11 Ultra?

Yep, TWRP avoids typing command lines.https://sourceforge.net/projects/recovery-for-xiaomi-devices/files/star/
Two version of roms:
Rom.Fastboot.zip to install with a pc with the Bat file included in the rom folder.
Provided this way if no working TWRP.
Rom.Zip to install via OTA.
If this is a first installation you will have to install the TWRP first then TWRP / wipe format data type Yes (this will erase all your data) and reboot to the TWRp and flash the rom, then the updates will be done via OTA/TWRP.

So basically you imply that recovery (TWRP) is the preferred path
If I understood correctly, the biggest (?) advantage of chosing a recovery ROM (instead of a fastboot one) is the benefit of having OTA afterwards, right? (and maybe simplicity of having the GUI - that is TWRP)
Now, to put this the other way - what's the disadvantage of chosing the recovery ROM over a fastboot one? Is there any? (other than the need to have to install an 'extra layer' - that is TWRP)
So that ROM that was just released (xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11Pro_MI11Ultra_V14.0.6.0.TKACNXM_v14-13.zip) is a recovery ROM. right? If so, the latest twrp (v3.7.0 from https://eu.dl.twrp.me/star/) will work for this brand new MIUI 14?

For Xiaomi EU roms regardless of whether they are in ZIP or Fastboot.zip only the way of installing them is different.
For Stock roms, those in Recovery are used for updating or troubleshooting, they only contain the essentials, unlike those in Fastboot containing all the Imgs of the phone.
For the TWRP, you must take into account the version of Android A12 or A13, not Miui13 or 14.
The link https://eu.dl.twrp.me/star/ is obsolete, the one I posted is the official one developed by SKKK.
xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11Pro_MI11Ultra_V14.0.6.0.TKACNXM_v14-13.zip
use
twrp-3.7.0_12-v6.9_A13-star-skkk.img
The first boot of the rom takes 5/8 minutes.

I ll prob do it in the weekend
From what I read, I also have to unlock the bootloader and from a security PoV, I m not really happy about that, but no way around it. Just can't live with the stock CN ROM
Not sure if unlocking the bootloader takes time or if it is instateneous (via the MI website)
As for my concerns over the method (twrp vs fastboot), it would seem that the fastboot is probably more 'clean'
No disrespect towards the developers who made the twrp possible - thus making it so much easier for people to fiddle with ROMS on their mobile and at no cost, but regardless of that, it is still an extra piece of software that resides on the phone. Just the way I understand it. Again, not looking down at twrp
What do you mean by "fastboot containing all the imgs..."?
Isn't it one single image per phone model?
Or did you mean to say 'features' or 'apps'?
Personally, I d be more interested in less/apps/fancy features (except for security of course)

As said above, this only concerns stock roms(recovery/fastboot), not xiaomi Eu roms, whether in Zip or Fastboot, it's the same, only the installation method differs.
Unlocking the bootloader takes at least 168 hours before finalization (time to study a bit).
The latest Stable or Weekly versions are in Zip, so with TWRP.
Unlock
https://new.c.mi.com/global/post/101245
https://en.miui.com/unlock/index.html
Unfortunately, the more I read, the more I m getting kind of disappointed with things 'Xiaomi'
In order to get the unlock process started (1 week..really??), I need to download the MI drivers. OK
So I m trying to search "official" MI drivers and they are nowhere to be found!
All I get is this https://xiaomidriver.com/ which claims to host the official drivers (!)
How can this be for the image of a reputable brand?
How can Xiaomi not hosting themselves all these useful tools like all other major vendors do (in their own domain!)?
How me, as an end user, is supposed to verify authenticity of a driver found on a xyz domain claiming to be the official one?
What's more, at the bottom of this page it says "xiaomidriver.com is not endorsed or affiliated to Xiaomi..."
I mean seriously???
I purchased this phone for its hardware capabilities but is there nothing more than that?
I mean, I get Xiaomi not wanting to encourage people mess with the ROMS. After all, some will end up bricking their phone and then they ll chase up Xiaomi for this
But Xiaomi not hosting something as so very basic as a USB driver??? This can't be right
Even that official page kindly provided by NOSS8 earlier, states "ensure your PC has necessary Mi USB drivers and platform tools" Well...where am I supposed to get these from? The first random site I google up?
........
After bashing my head around this, I eventually found an official link (from miui.com), for obtaining the flash tool from which I can do a workaround to extract the drivers....c'mon!!

It is very simple.
The installation of the drivers is done with Mi Unlock (gear at the top right) then check:

Also download platform tools which would be useful for installing TWRP or performing certain Fastboot operations.
@NOSS8 I tried installing xiaomi.eu Rom MIUI14 on the Mi 11 pro. It booted and everything but whatsapp and camera was not working. Whatsapp not syncing, camera asks for SD card?
So I decided to downgrade to MIUI 13 from Aug 2022 the version in this post above. This is what I did:
1. Fastboot TWRP latest skkk for A12.
2. Flash from TWRP last stable MIUI 13 Rom
3. Phone restarts fine but goes in to loop after connecting to wifi. Please note I have done format data before and after flash
4. I rebooted the ROM to recovery it asks for pin, then says wrong password, failed mount.
Please advise. What should I do? I am happy to toll back to MIUI13 as I am not sure what is going on with MIUI 14. How do solve this problem? Many thanks
It's better to use fastboot when doing downgrade/rollback android or Miui version .
