Take my thumbs up! I've always wanted to try this ROM again. Thank you for bringing it to the Axon 7

Thank you, this rom is better than Omni for me, everything is fast and smooth.

hello I want to know, what is the best kernel for this rom? the prebuilt one that comes with this rom or baddar kernel?

oh haha thanks, I should have read your name before I posted, my mistake
don't know if this is a bug or not but whenever I try to connect to wifi it saves it instead of connecting and when I attempt to connect again, it comes up with the menu to input password again no matter how many times i've inputted the correct password.
might be my flashing order so i'm wiping and reflashing again
---------- Post added at 07:22 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:04 AM ----------
alright wifi isn't working and by that I mean that when I input the right password for my wifi and connect, it puts it as a saved network and doesn't attempt to obtain its ip address/connect whatsoever.
I can tap it again and it puts up the menu to put password in again and when I do that the whole thing repeats.
Here is what I did:
Boot into twrp
wipe system, data, vendor, cache, dalvik, etc
flash syberia os
boot into system (clean flash no gapps or anything, I normally use microg)
then try and connect to wifi
After all that wifi still does not work, don't know if this is just me or something else but other than wifi bug, rom is very smooth, although I cannot use wifi at all,

Ah I see then. I decided to do the same after flashing multiple GSI's and things getting a little wonky after a month or two. But yeah, no problem man, glad to provide assistance.

Is it for all wifi networks or a specific one ? If you can take logs while trying to connect to wifi it will help me know where the issue might be.

Alright, just installed it and everything seems to be alright. I do however have a few issues, such as my sim card not working. Wifi is working nicely though, and everything seems rather smooth.

Make sure to wipe the vendor , data , system and cache.
SIM and wifi working fine here and no one reported an issue with them in the TG group.
So try to redownload the .zip and clean flash it again

Yes it will , these device specific ROMs comes with their own vendor so you should wipe them coming from different ROMs

I'll have to keep that in mind. Thanks for the heads up. I do have one question: I noticed the target says Oneplus 6 when installing the rom. That's perfectly fine, right?

Yep , that is just the finerprint id to pass safetynet, for some reason using axon 7 fingerprint does not let it pass

Been testing this out for the last half hour or so, overall it runs really well for a test build.
Here are a few of things issues I've noticed so far: No notifications show up in the notification bar, I'll get a vibration and sound when I get a text or email, but nothing appears up top. This might be more of a Gapps issue than a rom issue, but when I logged into my google account it didn't sync any of my contacts from my account. I also noticed that there is no lockscreen, which isn't really much of an issue anyway.
Overall I've been in the Android community for quite a while and this is by far one of the most complete test builds I've ever used. I'll continue my testing all day tomorrow and let you know of any other issues I come across

I am currently flashing the rom again without gapps. I'm thinking the gapps linked is breaking things. I have a lockscreen & other things in my t6spr rom that is missing from this one. I appreciate your input as well.
EDIT: I just booted without the linked gapps and have a lockscreen. I'll see if I can find the gapps used on my T6.
Try these as they work on my t6 https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=385035244224385489
I just wiped everything and reinstalled it all, now I have lockscreen, notifications, and all my contacts show up, must have had a bad install the first time. Everything works great now. I did use the full version of Open Gapps this time too, so maybe that Gapps file was causing the issues
I gave up on updating after seeing there won't be an official 5.1 after all.. I settled with badboyz 5.0.1 ROM.
Here I am after almost 2 years, decided I could come and check if there is anything new made by good people..
And I'll be damned this awesome thread appeared just today, what a timing!
Even though it's a test ROM, seeing the @bbacon 's feedback, I guess I won't regret it if I flash it right away?
M7 is my main and only device though, would you recommend waiting for another update?

The M7 is currently my only device too. I've only noticed a few minor things here and there, but nothing that is even enough of an issue to post about. Today will be my first full day with it, so if you want to wait a day or two I'll let you know if I run into any issues at the end of the day today

Awesome , I'd appreciate that!
I guess I spoke too soon, I was using this rom for about half the day and I've noticed a significant issue. For some reason I can't send any text messages on this rom. I can send pictures messages and group messages with no issue, but when I try to sent a text message to one person with no picture it fails every time. I've tried it with multiple different Gapps, and tried it without using Gapps at all, and every time it fails to send a standard text message. I thought at first it might be a bad signal, but the same place it wouldn't send the message I was able to make calls, send picture messages, and access the internet, so I think it might not be signal related. Other than this one issue though everything else was working great. I've gone back to a sense rom for the meantime

Two things I've noticed so far using this ROM:
-video recording doesn't work, including in snapchat
-when trying to edit the buttons quick settings shade, the menu is scaled incorrectly on the screen.
Fantastic ROM otherwise, it's blazing fast and has done pretty well with battery compared to other Roms

Nice to see another build of Beanstalk!
May I ask you if it's possible to dirty flash Beanstalk over CM? And if the bugs of theme engine and finger print are still present in this ROM?
Thank you very much for your work.

I brought the code for Beanstalk even with CM Beta2. You don't have to dirty flash, you just need to delete your existing fingerprint enrollments before clean flashing. The same will be true for all ROMs built on my source until otherwise stated...
You can dirty flash if you want but you'll probably have to fix Theme Chooser by deleted that Themes.db file....
New build is live!
Will try immediately after my inet provider fix their fking services.
Just tried this, flashed over previous CM build, everyhting works awesomely, even with xposed.
The camera works and looks better than stock to me for some reason. Performance is better than expected, no lag. This is just awesome.
The only problem that persists is that if I keep my music on my SD card, when I go to the music app and create playlist, the playlists empty themselves after a reboot.
Can confirm working on NEM-L21
I noticrd that Notification and QS drawer don't get themed, I know it is a small thing bit I thought to report it.
And for the P8 Lite Kirin 620 you will not be able to make Cyanogenmod?
PS: If you get to do it I offer myself as Betatester!!???

So I tried to clean flash BeanStalk but I could not register a fingerprint. I did remove my fingerprint in CM before flashing BeanStalk though... So don't know why it was not possible. This keystore stuff seems very annoying and mysterious :silly:
So I dirty flashed it over latest CM and it works fine

I did. Please read my post. Otherwise I would have not been able to register my print in CM. In CM it works fine. But in BeanStalk it won't let me. Even after removing the print in CM before flashing.
I don't really mind because I don't need a clean flash. And it is also a known issue so let's not discuss it further. Just wanted to let people know that if they have the same issue, they might want to consider a dirty flash.

Before you clean install beanstalk from cm, you need to remove your finger print unless, you dirty flash it from cm. I dirty flash from cm and my phone are running great..
Clean flash BeanStalk, had stock ROM before. Now its asking me for some password. Enter a password to launch Android. WTF is this? I cannot enter my phone now .

Did you wiped AFTER flashing or before? Because if you wipe system after the phone can't boot because it don't have a system.

I am not a total noob . Wiped system, data, cache, dalvik, flashed ROM and Gapss and restarted. Boot animation appeared, then optimization of apps and this fking password request. I have no idea, what is that password, never seen that before on any Android device.

Yeah, but after flashing the ROM you must reboot to recovery again (if recovery ask you a password just cancel it), then do a factory reset because EMUI's data is encrypted (that's why it ask you a password). After this data wipe you should be able to boot the phone.

So, right sequence is:
1) wipe system,data,cache,dalvik
2) flash ROM and Gapps
3) reboot to recovery
4) wipe data
5) reboot to system
Right?

The Fingerprint sensor is not yet implemented into my builds
APN needs set to IPv4/IPv6 to support full data capabilities for T-Mobile/MetroPCS
VoLTE isn't working
Wifi MAC address is not properly set
Double Tap 2 Wake on devices with a Synaptics display (which is about half of the LG K20 Plus devices)
Formatting /data as F2FS limits the partition to only 4GB so definitely avoid doing that for now
Please let me know if there are issues so i can update this list and work towards making it shorter than it already is.
Install Instructions1. Download ROM from the link below.
(This ROM is a 64bit ROM please install the 64bit PBRP from the Official PBRP thread unless you have an old 64bit capable recovery)
2. Wipe dalvik/cache/data/factory reset. (also delete the /Android folder from your external SD card, this can be done in PBRP under advanced/file manager)
3. Flash the rom in recovery.
4. Flash OpenGApps in recovery. (Make sure to choose 8.1 ARM64)
5. Reboot device.
Error 255 when flashing 64bit roms is because you are running 32bit twrp. Try PBRP in the Official PBRP thread
To fix fp enrollment on my builds or stock will require you to either delete the enrolled fingerprint(s) before clean install or switching to/from stock, alternatively you can root the device, use a root file explorer to navigate to the /persist-lg/ partition and delete the goodix folder. (FP is currently not implemented into my Oreo builds and will take time to shim to work, I however will be keeping this bit here for those who decide to revert back to stock or to my Nougat builds)

Yeah that data issue is related to ipv6 not allowing full network connectivity. Change that to ipv4/ipv6 in your APN and you'll be golden. It's something kernel related preventing full IPv6 connectivity. I'll check out your build.prop tweaks though. I plan to change the built-in APNs to address that issue until I can get that issue resolved. I probably won't work on debugging that until Pie since its not quite a high priority issue.
I installed the mentioned game just to make sure that was the issue. Loaded up just fine over LTE with ipv4 enabled
Dirty flashing from a previous Oreo build to 2/7 will likely result in a bootloop if you had magisk installed. You will need to reflash magisk and possibly gapps to resolve this issue. Its because I changed the filesystem type for certain partitions from ext4 to f2fs for a slight performance boost.

I'm going to revert those changes since they were personal preference but the change won't affect users that had issues installing the most recent build.
I am not sure what's up, I've flashed 2/9 a bunch and just bootlooping.. Clean install and fresh magisk flash
EDIT: Tried a few more times and no go.. I'll wait for the revert

Revert build is up under the same name as yesterdays build with yesterdays build renamed to the proper date. It will work with ext4 and f2fs now. Its likely your issue was from cache being formatted as EXT4 which yesterdays build didn't support, today's does.

I can but won't for users who for some reason prefer SU, but magisk installer is baked into PBRP so close enough right? Lol also a new build is being uploaded now with overall performance improvements. Maybe I'm just crazy but even networking seems faster on 2/08. Should be up in about an hour. I'm off to bed now. Enjoy the super fluid 2/8 build.
Its a thumbs up lol

Once again continued thanks and respect to all of the Developers
I've been running this Rom for a couple of days now on-and-off and it's the first Custom Rom I've ever installed(I've installed loads) that everything works out-of-the-box!
Tested:
Calls/Text/Mobile phone Data/FM Radio/WiFi/WiFi Hotspot/USB tethering/GPS(Google Maps)/Bluetooth to BT Speakers/Push notifications/OTP notifications / Open-Camera saving to SD card/Mp3 Players VLC(Multimedia) and Pulsar saving Playlists.
Have not found anything not working except stock camera saving to SD card.
Great Rom

what a nice rom has so much customizing options sadly on my xt1542 stock camera and other camera apps dont work, the app closes and airplane mode dont work too. What called my attention is that the lastest versions of opengapps arm pico dont work on crdroid and floko so i have to download the 10 of june version that its managed but in others roms like havoc 3.9/3.6 this don't happen. My problem really was that on stock firmware the camera flash stopped working so i switched to a rom (havoc) and worked again fine but in flokorom and crdroid i cant open the camera and the flash is broken too with the airplane mode. I hope i can find a solution thanks for reading

---------------------------------
I have searched for camera issues.
I noticed that this is / was a serious issue especially after updating to android-10.
People with several phones and roms have issues - but surely not everyone.
I have read some solutions I will share. I am sure that these will not help in every situation.
But maybe it is worth trying. On my phone I only can use the internal memory for storage.
Solution 1:
Clear camera application data.
Settings >Apps >Camera >Storage >Clear Data
Solution 2: Someone wrote:
I had this problem too, but I solved it. Just for the case that you also like to play around with the developer options, here's what happened to me:
My camera didn't work, the app opened sometimes, but only partially, complained about missing rights of Google Play, which I allowed but which didn't help, in WhatsApp the camera didn't work, too. WhatsApp suggested to reboot (which didn't help). But my flashlight worked.
Then I remembered that I have seen after the update a new control in the developer options, a toggle for sensors to turn them on and off, which I put into my quick settings, enabled them and then deleted them from the quick settings and forget about them. Seems like the camera is a sensor, too, because after I turned this toggle off the camera worked again : )
Hope this helps anybody else!
Solution 3: Another one wrote:
I had the exact same issue. Rebooting phone helped for a little while and was not a very good solution. After I uninstalled snapchat my camera has been working fine for three days now. So it's highly possible snapchat causes the camera to malfunction.
Solution 4: Again someone else wrote:
I found a way to solve this problem, the camera crashes when an app with camera permission tries to access the location and crashes the camera.
Try disabling the camera and location permission for the apps which have both the permissions (i.e, camera & location). Do this for apps one by one and see which apps cause the problem and see whether the camera crashes or not.
In my case I the apps are Snapchat, Instagram and GCam are the apps having permission to Camera and Location. Finally disabling the permission for Insta worked for me. And my camera didn't crash for the past week.
Hope this helps.
I've had no Camera problems using Flokorom/crDroid etc on my xt1541 1gb ram/8gb.
I always do an ultra clean/safe install of new roms. If the present rom being used has been rooted using Magisk I had problems installing different roms until I started using the system below e.g uninstalling Magisk root before installing the new Rom.
Open Magisk in current booted phone.
Choose uninstall Magisk > Restore Images.
Reboot phone and check phone is not rooted,
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.clivin.rootchecker&hl=en_GB
Reboot to Recovery > Factory wipe.
Install new rom > Wipe Dalvik/Cache and then Factory wipe again.
Install Gapps if required and then Factory wipe again.
By doing this I've always had good installs.

FlokoROM is based on crDroid, which is lineage based.
Bad news. I've had to abandon Flokorom. Just did a soft reset e.g hold in power button for around 10/15 seconds until the the phone restarts which emulates taking the Battery out and the phone booted but became unusable. All icons from Notification bar disappeared until I rebooted a couple of times but phone still unusable as the,"Settings" app keeps crashing
Tried Safemode and same there. Clearing Cache etc from Recovery no good. Re-tried Soft Reset still no good. As I consider this operation important it's a,"Deal Breaker" for me on this rom

Thank you for your concern but as I keep my Nandroids on my portable formatted SD card(and backed up on my Laptop) so it only takes a few mins to re-install. Get the developers to try a,"Soft Reset" and see what they get as they can then generate a crash log with luck

Hi, I have asked the developer for a reaction about the issue of emulating a soft reset.
"I've never heard it before. that's strange..." : was his answer.
I myself tried it on crDroid-ten: I got the following 'problem'. All my apps crashed iow they fc. I had to make a dirty install, then all was fine again.
I don't think I will do it again, I get no profit of it.

Did you not have a Nandroid backup you could have used?
It's strange as it works as it should on my crDroid 6.10 install :/
It works on my Havocs I've used including my present 3.9 but I do have to reset my Network settings on that one.
It is an important function that was included on all Android phones AFAIK for ones that have fixed batteries so the user can emulate taking the Battery out. It can fix locked phones/apps and even phones that won't boot.
Huawei
https://helpandroid.com/how-to-reset-huawei-p20-pro/
The procedure differs from phone to phone e.g Samsungs it's usually Press and hold the “Power” and “Volume Down” buttons for eight to twenty seconds and the device will eventually turn off.

Installation guide:
Spoiler: Using PE recovery
1. Recommended Samsung firmware version is A705FNXXU5DVK6, but it will work on slightly older versions too.Make sure that the bootloader is unlocked.--
2. Boot the phone into download mode. Flash Pixel Experience recovery through AP button in Odin.Download here. Note: TWRP will not work! It does not support new A13 roms with the latest changes.
Use PE recovery for the best experience, otherwise don't complain if your phone bootloops.
--
3. Boot into recovery (Vol+ and Power while USB is plugged into PC) Note: Samsung's OneUI wipes the custom recovery partition and possibly vbmeta while booting so try not to reboot into Android.
--
4. Format data and system in the recovery--
5. Flash the rom in "Apply update" menu. There are 2 ways to install:
On the phone: Copy the zip to a FAT32-formatted microSD card and install it in recovery.
With a PC: Use Minimal ADB on Windows. Open "cmd-here" and type
Code:
adb sideload <rom-file>

So far so good on the a70(sm-a705mn), I just made the installation without problems, thank you very much for continuing to create roms for the a70q, now only remains to test the pixel experience rom.
Working well on (SM-705GM). No issues except screen gets brighter while unlocking device. Easy and Quick installation. Excellent installation guide. Thanks for this rom.
Came from the crDroid A12 GSI. This is such a lovely ROM. Really impressed, working fine and fingerprint is better than the official Samsung ROM. Great stuff. The hardware on this phone is still great and Samsung ditching it at Android 11 seems like such a waste.
New update is out, fixing a battery drain issue and homescreen stutters.
Unfortunately, it requires a recovery update and a clean flash due to filesystem-related changes, so please back up your data (for example make a google backup) before updating!
Upgrade process is basically: reflash new recovery, wipe data, flash the .zip, like in install guide.
This shouldn't be an issue in the future builds, sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm actually impressed with how good the battery is compared to crDroid GSI. No issues on homescreen either (using Nova). Installed only a few days ago!
I can't turn on this settings

GSIs are pretty terrible from my experience, so I feel like actually porting the rom is worth the effort.
It's crazy how this rom is so smooth. Well done
The ROM is awesome.. very good work
The bugs are:
1- screen of FOD not working
2- vibration on answering and ending calls not working .. I am not sure if it was working on other ROM versions ..
Thumbs up..

1. Answered 2 posts above
2. Didn't know about that (can't test currently..), but there were some vibrator-related changes indeed

Loving the ROM, works great.
Sorry to be nitpicky but could you fix the aliasing on the rounded corners. Think it's in a file called dimens.xml. Just needs a proper rounded corner value set I think. It'll also make the Google Assistant swipe animation follow the rounded corners.
I can't remember off the top of my head on how I fixed it for the A50 but I believe I removed the separate top and bottom values and replaced them with just rounded_corner_radius.

Oh, unfortunate. Android Auto support on custom roms has always been kind of hit-and-miss anyways, on many devices across many different roms. It's not that high of a priority for rom devs. Either way I can't test that since my stereo doesn't have AA

Worked fine for me. My car is a wired android auto version. Is yours wireless by any chance? I can't test that.

Sounds like either an issue with your phone or the way you install stuff. What's the model? (SM-A705XX)
