Hey.
My k20 pro runs on 10.3.7.0 china rom
There is an update.
Should I update before flashing global rom or I can just flash the global rom without updating the device?

So I want to flash the global version into it via twrp

I'd recommend the xiaomi.eu stable/beta roms.
The flashing guide is pretty self explanatory in their site.

for me no different between european and global. i ave global mi9t pro and i have try global european and global and it is all same

U can flash over mi flash and even lock bootloader.

i know but i told u that u can lock easily bootloader over global rom without any problem of bricking device if u have eu version of device

Download full miui 12 for mi 9t pro global
And flash it via twrp

Question Change from Taiwan Global Rom (RKBTWXM) to Global Rom (RKBMIXM)

Hi friends
I recently acquired a Mi 11 Global version but with the Taiwan Rom (RKBTWXM) my question is if I can install the Global Rom (RKBMIXM) and then close the bootloader?
Yes you can flash global or EEA ROM and lock bootloader.

Question Miui 13 ?

Hi
Currently running MIUI GLOBAL 12.5.19 stable RKDEUXM on my 11T Pro, in the UK. Forgive me for being a noob but hasn't MIUI13 been released for the 11t Pro already? Ive tried downloading latest package in settings but it tells me it's up to date.. I don't want to have to flash it..

Hello guys, I have Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite EEA version, unfortunately 12.5 may has not come to the EEA version, is there a method to get 12.5?

u can unlock the bootloader and install xiaomi.eu rom or miui globe
I have been to the download site and the EEA version is on there now for 12.5 but some reason recovery ROM say it can't verify the update.

I'm on a UK ROM and was on v12.0.7. Changed the Region to Switzerland, now I'm on v12.0.10. So no way of updated to v12.5 when If I can see a 12.5.3.0 EEA package exists. These is quite a mess with this fireware.

Question Mi 11 update global

My Mi 11 has global rom 13.0.4 is it the newest update?? Tried to search for update. But i dont get any update .. i think i had 13.0.7 on it but then i Flash xiaomi.eu rom and then back to 13.0.4 from Mi Flash .. and now i cant get it to find update from settings and update

If you want 13.0.7.0 flash it with miflash.(not global but EEA).

If your device is Chinese do not lock the bootloader.

You can upgrade with OTA , but you can't use Miflash with a locked bootloader.
You cannot upgrade from global to EEA without unlocking the bootloader.

My phone didnt receive text messages and its lags more than the stock rom i dont like .eu rom its not a smooth experience for me

This may be due to settings or you did not format the data before the flash.
