The phone does not turn on, it does not go into a discard or recovery mode, it is only in black, what can I do?

I tried to upgrade to the new 2.1 reoriented kernel and ended up with the Phone+Caution Sign+Computer symbol. Everytime I try to use the one click recovery it hangs at

I have tried this many times, I am always in download mode before I bring up Odin and connect. The only way I can get into download mode now is to hold down the up and down volume and insert usb, then I disconnect usb, bring up odin, it connects and I press start and the above message is where it hangs..Have I bricked this device?

You have to open Odin first then put in download mode and plug in USB...

I am trying to flash a rom using Odin, however I am stuck at this message all the time:
<ID:0/004> DO NOT TURN OFF TARGET!!
is there any reason why?

Disconnect and pull your battery. Put the battery back in. Start odin. Load your pit and pda files. Hold down both volume buttons and plug your usb cable back in. You should be back at "don't turn off target" but now you should have one of your boxes in odin filled in with com port info. Now push start you should be good to go.
I tried that before, but the order you gave me seem to have worked this time. Haha

Hello. I have problem with galaxy Mini 2. It has a bootloop so I would like to install new ROM. I downloaded ODIN and software and I try turn on download mode but I received a communicat 'ramdump arm9 mode ". When I turn on buttons - Power and MENU the phone has vibrations every each 3 seconds and nothing changes. When I turn on odin and click start Button he wrote: <ID:0/013> SetupConnection.. and nothing is done.
Can you help me please?
I have the ATT Galaxy S5 that was 4.4.4, but I disliked the update so I figured I should downgrade to stock 4.4.2 1ANCE. Through the process I thought it would be fine but on startup after the downgrade flash was done, the boot loads up to the samsung logo and freezes there. I need major help!!

So, I followed the instructions, It showed me an error like this

<ID:0/005> Can't open the serial(COM) port.

Your phone is in download mode? You had to hit vol-up to bypass the warning screen when putting it there? Also, do you have the correct drivers installed on your system?
i have an elephone g6 and it is not booting!! i tried to hard reset my phone but after the reset in recovery mode the phone is just showing the boot icon for 2-3 minutes and then again it is switching off and when i charge the phone the red light is also coming.And i didn't even rooted the phone. please please help me !! what to do now??
A failed rom flash lead to the phone only turning on for like 2 seconds on the firmware update encountered an error screen.
I can't enter download or recovery mode, if I plug it into a wall it'll stay on for like 15 seconds but I still can't enter download mode or recovery mode.
If I plug it into my pc it stays on for 2 seconds.
Phone wont boot without being plugged in.
