Bye, Apple... Welcome back, beloved Android! -- Doubts inside! - Samsung Galaxy S10 Questions & Answers

Good afternoon, guys!
After almost two years enjoying an Iphone X and also liking the experience with an XR for work reasons, I decided to move back to Android. Following the guidance in this forum, I bought a 512gb Samsung S10 Plus... And so far I have ejoyed the speed, camera and screen. I left iOS because of the lack of additional storage, the non-renovated-in-years look and feel, and the problems sharing documents with anything that is not Apple.*
Unfortunately, there are a couple of things that make me miss iOS, and I would love to know if any of you know how to help. I cannot think about a better place to ask than in the Android forum by excellence
Passbook is amazing for cards and boarding passses. Is there something similar in Android?
Gestures! - Apple has implemented those amazingly well, and I tried a couple of apps that were not close to Apple. Do I need to wait to Android 10? This is by far the best thing that iOS has
AirDrop - One of the best things that Apple has is this amazing tool to share photos and documents with others. Is there somethins similar in Android?
Integration with Mac - With an iPhone, I can answer a phone call from my computer, and paste text from and to my Mac. I know this is going to eb almost impossible, but noone better than you guys to respond *
Multitasking - Multitasking has been way better implemented by Apple, meaning that surfing through the apps that are opened feels more fluid and natural with an iPhone. Is there any way to change this? To make it better than it currently is?
Apple pay - Apple has every possible card in their echosystem, and Android has some while Samsung has others - It seems like is not so standarized
Thanks so much in advance for responding to this, and I hope I don't regret of coming back to my beloved Android world.

welcome back to the fray!!
1: boarding pass wallet
2: nope
3: pushbullet
4: nope
5: not sure, would probably take some tweaking, but its just not as slick in android
6: Samsung Pay or Google Pay. I have a gear S3 frontier and it has a radio in it that makes it superior to iwatches and any other samsung watch, it can emulate a physical card swipe and doesnt rely strictly on NFC. Ive had soooooooo many clerks say to me "that doesnt work her......." and when they stop talking and look at their register with surprise that it worked, i then say "yes it does" with a slick smile on my face

HAhahah! Thanks so much! Love the last phrase
I'll donwload Boarding Pass Wallet and Pushbullet (I remember that last one from my S7 edge). In Spain it seems like Samsung and Google have different cards one from each other and it makes it complicated. F.E. Samsung in Spain does not accept AMEX!

Thanks!! and dude, even here in the septics (USA) amex is a complete PITA. its hit and miss at best for places that accept it. A few jobs ago, my bonuses were loaded on an amex card and i had over 3k on it and couldnt even buy gas in minnesota

crazy! In London 75% of the places accept AMEX but in Spain is not so easy. I thought the US would be the best place to have an AMEX!

right??? yeah, i tried a couple jewelry stores, clothing stores, grocery, hardware, tons of places in the mall of america (for a very long time, this was the largest mall on the planet) and it was hit n miss at very best. I eventually found a place that would let me withdraw the cash with a very small penalty. I went to doing that every so often to avoid the hassle LoL

1. No idea
2. Vivid Navigation, (Because you can use tap gestures.) experiment with this app, you'll enjoy it. I felt like I missed iPX gestures, but then I got used to using Vivid NG and now going back to iPhone gestures seem slow and require more effort. I use tap gestures along the bottom arranged how the navbar buttons are, and then swipe gestures on the side. You can also use swipe up on each section to bring up Bottom Quick settings (I bound to the right section), Launchboard bound to swipe up in the middle and Notification panel on the left section.
3/4: Use EasyJoin, it uses Wifi Direct which is what Airdrop is. It also allows you to answer phonecalls from your pc and control your SMS.
5. You can try changing animation durations and revoking usage data access to wellbeing, you'll notice it's a lot more fluid. If you root, install FDE AI, made a huuge difference for me.
6. Google pay. If you're rooted use magisk hide and the script for google pay to use it while rooted.

Awesome! I changed animations and it indeed improved the performance. Regarding Google Pay, it's good but not perfect. Vivid Navigator looks promising but needs a PC to hide the Navigation Bar, so I'll need to check later at home
Regarding EasyJoin, I am using AirDroid and it seems to work well... For now!

"Multitasking - Multitasking has been way better implemented by Apple, meaning that surfing through the apps that are opened feels more fluid and natural with an iPhone. This will allow you to modify your multitasking page and animations quite significantly. Give it a try

Simply great! this tool makes multitasking way more natural!
The only missing piece now is Apple Pay... They have a way better system than Android (you even need to dial your PIN number in the machine to complete the payment, while with Apple that was not needed).
Thanks, man!

Ok, so the passbook thing seems to be implemented into Samsung and Google pay. The similar gestures are coming with one ui 2. For iosish recents download nice lock and task changer off APK mirror

Just checked Vivid Navigation... Simply awesome. It replicates indeed the iPhone gestures and goes even beyond. Great suggestion, man!!

making a child/elderly friendly touchscreen device

or should that be making a touchscreen device elderly/child friendly?
anyhow
i'll admit that i have aked for some input in the modding section before, but i hope hitting a wider audience will help.
i have been thinking of equipping my 6 year old son with a phone. all pros and cons of this aside, i have already thought about it, and the needs outweigh any other issues.
the point is i want to make the phone easy to use for him. large touchscreen, a few buttons to call important numbers, maybe an sos button.
no outgoing/incoming calls to/from nonwhitelisted numbers, none of the other smartphone features.
a feature to be able to send an sms to the phone and have it do something like sending its gps location or the like would also be nice.
the reason i am thinking about using a smartphone not some featurephone is that the smartphone seems more readily modifiable when it comes to the features implemented and more complicated functions.
the elderly phone would be similar, where the focus here is on having the little old lady that misses her rotary landline set up with a phone that is easy to see, hear and use. the touchscreen seems a good fit here because it allows a nice big dialer with contact list etc, while none of the other features (messaging, web etc) are really wanted, in fact shouldn't be there. (have you tried getting rid of the web browsing etc on a featurephone?).
with the number of kids and old people out there a solution to give them a phone that has exactly the features they need without compromise would be awesome.
no apologies for length, thanks for reading all this, have a good one.

Samsung Tocco Lite?
my desire is to create a rom for a smartphone that has very few features accessible to the user. the samsung tocco lite doesn't look like one could disable all the extraneous features.
I would love to have a ROM that I could flash to an android device for my dad. Something with larger keys and easier for him to see
thanks
Thanks for digging up this thread and keeping it alive.
I do hope one of the amazingly skilled devs on here takes a liking to the idea. I don't have the skills needed and i would be willing to donate funds to anyone that comes up with a solution.
God bless.
Have a good day.
I thought they called it an iPhone?

Hmmm...it's a good idea to have some way to lock down a phone and limit its features to the ones you mentioned...
Surely there must be some kind of app that enables some kind of "child locks" or limits functions.
Maybe Tasker could help you here. Rules like:
When SMS arrives from "xyz", send SMS to number #xxx with GPS location.

I was hoping to retain more functionality than a stock iShiny ever had.
Tasker looks interesting. At least as a tool to help implement some of the functions.
What i miss most in the feature list is the ability to restrict calls in and out to a whitelist. Sprint offers a blacklist onvtheir network, and I have suggested that they offer an option to select wether to black or whitelist.
MIUI?

I'm bailing on Anroid - form the lynch mob here

*lol spelling mistake in title*
I'm bailing on Android after 2 years and two devices. I'll just go ahead and get the canned responses out of the way:
"K GTFO"
"ur an idiot anroid is open source so customizable"
"nice first post, moron"
The carrier/OS fragmentation is tearing Android apart. While most of you look at the open source platform and see good things, I see a disaster. Phones are full of bloat, locked out of core functionality (Atrix, anyone?) and relying on manufacturers for updates is slowing the progress of Android.
As a Vibrant owner, I am accustomed to some flaws - chiefly a working, but slow GPS. But when my phone constantly fails to send text messages or fills my call log with calls I did not make, I start to wonder. That's just this device - how about the Nexus One's that were sending texts to random contacts? I just think Google might have bitten off more than they were ready for. I often feel like they tried to jam so much into the OS that they forgot to keep user interface in check.
Don't get me wrong, I see a TREMENDOUS potential for Android in the future. The sheer number of activations is staggering. The platform will easily be the dominate OS, no doubt. In two years, I'll revisit Android.
For the time being I'm going back to *gasp* a Blackberry *gasp*
I for one fully respect you point of view, And good luck in your further endeavors.
Im sorry Android isn't working out for you.. I personally love my Evo, and wouldnt trade it for any other phone (right now at least).
some people enjoy the open source functions, and utilize the capabilities to its fullest, while others just call it bloat-ware (which it is full of...in stock form), and being locked out of core functionality ( what more can a blackberry do, even in stock form????)
i'm not hating on your post, or your opinion, Blackberrys are fun devices (before coming into the world of Android I owned about 5 crackberries) and im sure if you dont use your android device to its fullest, then a blackberry will be perfect for you

I feel the same way. Eventually I will get phone with any OS but Android.

I'm as nerdy as anyone here and can certainly hold my own when it comes to fully utilizing my phone.
But phone is the key word there. I need a phone I can throw in my pocket, answer a message quickly and be back to life. A quick glance at a Blackberry tells me all I need to know. A quick glance at my Vibrant tells me the screen is off. Poor choice in phone model? Maybe.
The only things I will miss about Android are my phones amazing 4" Display, Google Navigation and WiFi tethering. That, to me, says a lot.
Interesting thoughts
I myself like phones that I can customize into something that I need. What I mean by this is with Android I can make my home screen tell me all I need. I went out and tried different phones and found that android based phones seemed to have the most customization options out there. I like the others but for me and this is only me android seems to fit me for what I need to have on my home screen. I like to see many things too. Like calendar, email, weather, SMS and a couple of other quick links to seldom used items. Other phones like Blackberry or Iphone work nice but I am often stuck by what they feel is right. I myself just like to have things my way I guess.

understandable.. a 4" display is a rather large phone, and sometimes isnt easy to fit into your pocket.. As for myself, a quick glance at my Evo tells me all I need to know also.

Yep. Had a MyTouch when they came out. The core functionality of the phone was pretty good, albeit a bit slow. I commend HTC/T-Mobile for updating such an old phone to Froyo.
What it boils down to for me is that despite Android being a much larger, more supported platform, it just isn't intuitive. Having to install a different rom every week to see if I can squeeze out a FULL day of use or get my GPS working just isn't fun anymore.
To me, Android has become exactly what a lot of people complained about the iPhone - a toy. The novelty (at least for me) has worn off and I'm back at square one wondering why I feel the need to own such a device. Aside from browse the web and play games, what can Android do that a Blackberry can't? I don't need to play Angry Birds or watch Youtube in HD - I have other devices to handle that. What I want to do is bang out messages and answer phone calls efficiently.
This was never intended as a thread to bash Android or XDA/Developers. I've noticed an enormous difference between stock 2.2 and some of the ROMs out there for the Vibrant. It was simply my observations on some (IMHO) big shortcomings in the platform that haven't been fully addressed.
Well, good luck on your endeavours, even though I think that HTC can solve your problems... maybe you could give the newer HTCs a shot, but hey, who am I to force you?
I think that you can still get your messages and calls out on android efficiently or at least I've managed to but it didn't take too much on my behalf; in the whole time that I've had my phone, I've only flashed 2 ROMs and my phone can pull about 48-51 hrs per charge with moderate use.

Wow, I like the sound of those numbers. I am getting a little tired of my 8-9 hours of battery life. Flashing new roms seems to be making things worse too. Stock I was getting 9-10.

Good luck OP. Hope you find something that works for you.
I'd do the same as you, only I can't live without widgets and homescreens anymore. I've tried WP7 but just couldn't use it because the lack of customization. GL with your future phones. Atleast you're not going to the darkest side (Apple).

[Q] siri for droid bionic

I was just wondering with all the talent an experience the developers on this site have. If they could build a program similar to siri on iphone 4 s. Our phones can already do some of what siri can do on the iphone 4s. It would just be nice to see a good developer make it more similar to siri .we can hold down the search button and make a few commands but I would like to be able set appointment by voice and also get a response back when asking about weather etc.
Try downloading Speaktoit Assistant from the Android Market. She's very similar to Siri, you can even name her Siri. She does weather, Google, texting, most of the things Siri does. This is probably your best bet at this point in time.
have you tried iris?
Thanks for the feed back. Im going to give that a try. I don't want to copy the iphone 4s and name it siri I was just wanting something to do the same thing. Hopefully a developer sees this and helps the android fans. Are phones can be greater than any iphone.
Try Eva, I found it to be powerful but I am having trouble with the Bluetooth features. If you have a Bionic and you decide to give Eva a try, could you ping me so I can see if you experience the same bluetooth issues? I use a bluetooth headset where it works perfectly but I have an after market bluetooth product for the car which works perfectly with my Blackberry but not so good with the Bionic. And I have a bluetooth station in my home for my cells phones so the regular phones in the home ring and it too has issues with the Bioinic. I have not been able to figure out if it is a Motorola/Bionic issue, a personal issue with a corrupted file or a developer issue so I would appreciate your reach out to eliminate one of the above.
just read what these people have suggested, there are already many Android spin-offs and alternatives to Siri, the most ironic and one I know of being 'Iris' = 'siri' backwards.... from what I have read and heard the dev's of the app are putting a lot of time and effort into great future improvement in the effectiveness and functionality of said application.
The cool thing about android is you have choice...interesting thing....One of the things the co creator of apple hates about the iphone is Siri:
“I used to ask Siri, ‘What are the five biggest lakes in California?’ and it would come back with the answer. Now it just misses. It gives me real estate listings. I used to ask, ‘What are the prime numbers greater than 87?’ and it would answer. Now instead of getting prime numbers, I get listings for prime rib, or prime real estate.”
anyways
I use 2 different apps:
Voice actions +
Dragon go
Voice action is awesome for doing tasks on your phone like getting weather, adding calendar entries, directions, dictating, etc. you can ask things like "do I need to wear a sweater today" or "am I busy today?"
Dragon Go is awesome for asking all around questions such as "Who played in the movie Money Ball" or "what are the best steak houses with in 5 miles from me" or "how many scales does a fish have"
I have it set so that there is no default so I can hold my magnifying glass and choose based on preference.
Happy androiding
Edit: Please note that these have been available before apple launched Siri, and that Siri was an app for the iPhone before apple bought the company.
Thanks everyone for replying. Iphone don't have s#*% on android with the community it has supporting it.
I have just tested out "Iris" with a few easy questions pertaining to my location. I was quite impressed by the app when it could answer:
1. What is the current population of Cleveland, OH?
2. What is the current temperature of Cleveland, OH?
3. What is the root of 64?
Two questions it could not yet answer:
1. What time is it in California? (It gave me my local time)
2. Where is the nearest grocery store? (It gave me one in Kansas)
All in all it seems to be a very solid app and it's only in alpha.
Just wanted to add that I tried all the top rated app's that we're suggested and found that (speaktoit) works the best . This app is almost flawless. Thanks again for all the responses. With out them I would be envious of iphone 4 s.by the way I used speaktoit to post this for me.

What's with the iphone 6 ???

Compared to say the S5, or Note 4 ?
I was shocked last weekend when my friends and I had some bbq afternoon... All 10 of them had a shiny iphone 6 !
Mind you these people don't know sh ite about rooting and stuff like that, they just take pictures and post them on instagram and sh itbook, even my cousin and her husband... am I the only one who loves Android and Samsung? or they have not seen the light yet????
Lol. I just look at the sheeple and laugh.

iPhones are just popular because they are easy to use and are updated often and quickly. It's a painless process to upload your music, movies and photos. iOS has a huge app library with very nice quality apps. The phones look great and perform well. Using one iPhone means you pretty much know how to use any iPhone. This is unlike Android where music management is a nightmare. The Play store is flooded with low quality apps and poor support. Using one Android phone means you know nothing about all the other Android phones. In short, to the non tech geek iPhones are the go-to. They are popular because they are easy to use. It also helps that Apples products are usually a status symbol.
The downside to not having Android is your limited in customization of ROMs or kernels. That doesn't mean you can't customize iOS. You just can't go as far as you can with Android.
Android Phones gives you more freedom.
Apple iPhones gives you less headaches.

Could not have said that better IPhone is perfect when you just want the phone that works without much hassle. Android is perfect when you love tweaking and playing with your phone and not actually use it that much Because with a android you are never satisfied, there is always something more to tweak, change rom and other stuff so for me it always ends with just messing with it. To much time tweaking and flashing to find the perfect setup
Although the tweaking and flashing is a massive plus with Android for me, an even bigger plus is the ability to download files like mp3s and pdfs etc from the net or a torrent and play them straight away. With IOS you can't. Android is much more like a true mini pc compared to IOS. That's why I could never go back to IOS.

Oh yeah, the mp3 download is a big factor for me. My friends ask me where I buy music. I said it's free and I use my phone, and showed a friend once... he just kept quiet. If you reverse the situation, I'm sure they'd be bragging.

Ive a app called xender which sends all the mp3 & videos from android to iphone without any hassle otherwise I would have said bye bye iphone.I think iphone should reduce some restrictions, would gather more android users.
What do you guys think?

Me, NOT at the moment. I am so used to android, just like my PC vs Mac, and my Canon DSLR vs Nikon...
But time will tell, now that Samsung started rolling phones that have irreplaceable battery and no SD card support...

Given the way the OP phrased his post - I think we were both accurate But yes you are right. There are plenty of people accessing content they haven't paid for on iOS too.
as an ex-iphone user (went from S1 to iphone 4 then iphone 5, back to S3 and every samsung since then) i have a similar view on them.
iPhones are simple to understand - not simple to use. there is always one way to do something, and thats it.
For many people thats preferable to feeling like an idiot when there is 10 ways to do something. go to android and watch a movie "oh it didnt work" - you tell them to try BS player or MX player and they just throw their hands in the air, because the built in video player is holy and sacred.
The reason for the simplicity is simple: On apple, every last thing is designed to come from itunes, and be played by the apple stock apps. there is one source to get the content, one app to play them, and the only thing that seperates the users is how much money you have to throw at the apple ecosystem - once someone has spent a few hundred bucks on iTunes content they'll never leave, because they add that value to offset the cost of a new phone. $900 iphone? pfft,i have $2K in iTunes, it might as well be free!"
on android, you can buy them from a dozen sources, pirate them, copy them from your PC - and you have infinite playback options. its simply too complex for people who bought the phone without knowing *WHY* they bought that phone, since they dont use most of its capabilities anyway. These are the common iSheep, the people who bought it because it's cool and looks fancy, but use it like a nokia.
Everyone i've converted from apple to samsung has followed the same path as well "why? this does the same things as my iphone, but the iphone is prettier and has itunes" - they do a direct comparison without even considering what the phone can do BEYOND the iphones capabilities. Showing them the S-pen, or directly playing files off my NAS/PC over wifi, or MHL/HDMI, or the note 4's super fast charging blows them away.
the iphone is the baseline, and they're so used to having just ONE choice that when presented with two or three or 10, they simply treat all the options as the same.
"i hate android" means "i used one android phone once, and they're all the same right?" - this also goes for themes, keyboards, stock apps and so on.

Pretty much. I was really over whelmed when I came back to Android. I was used to things just working out of the box. Now I have to rebuild my music collection from Google Play as that is eaiser then attempting to transfer from iTunes. Took a few days before I got the hang of flashing and building from source. Things have changed as if you keep in mind my iPhone is now just a really expensive GameBoy Advance and remote. My Note 4 is my daily driver.
So, on iPhone there is no proper PGP support, no NFC APIs (so no support for secure tokens such as Yubikey, or even NFC tags), no low level network APIs (so you can't implement your own protocol, such as OpenVPN).... (I could go on and on)
It seems like a no-go to me, it is pretty much locked down as well, even though you actually purchased the device you can't do anything on it that's not endorsed by Apple, that's why I strayed away from the iPhone in the first place (I used to own an iPhone 3GS, that's until I swiched to android and never came back).
As someone that works in IT, and need to handle sensitive data, iOS is just not the system for me.

But that's the thing of course. If you work in IT, you most probably want an android. However if you don't know sh*t about IT, which 98% of the people don't, an iphone really might be the better option. You dont have to worry about battery drains, wakelocks, background apps running, viruses, etc. It just does what it's supposed to do when a monkey operates it.
But if you're in IT, you most likely want to do some more stuff, go more in depth and then Android is clearly the OS of choice.
I like iphone coz everybody knows when u have an iphone. But you have to tell that you have a Note 4 coz there are hell lot of samsung mobile with similar looks. Also there is atleast 1 year surity that apple will not release another phone with similar looks. Also with some restrictions removed like access to files or install from external source could make apple on top.But guess this is how ios will be.Although I can now play movies & songs from external source by an app called xender atleast making it usable

For me is simple, if I use iPhone I will become dump, if I use android I will be generous because android is for geek not for dump. Yes lol most of the people use apple iPhone but they are totally useless in technology. There are a lot of iPhone user who even don't know simple problems in smart phone world. My company have a lot of previous ios user try to use android and return back to iPhone because very simple problem in android (simple problem for android user) is bothering them, that android user can solve the problem in just few second. I have a lot of friends using iPhone and always come to me with some simple problem I just laugh and says only one word..... useless guys. They always says iPhone is very smart.. ha ha.. i always says ..yes you are dump and go study first.
I am not insulting them, I just want them to not blind and open eye, Technology is changing, iPhone is good but not perfect, android is good but not for normal user same as window phone.

I do not intend to be rude, but in english the word dump means something different to the way you are using it. Perhaps you meant the word dumb?

A transition soon to come

So a few things if you don't mind, some of you may have been in a similar situation before moving from iOS to the android camp yourselves.
1) charging.
I have multiple lightning cables around the house connected to plugs (not so important) but I have various ones I bought specially from Anker and wouldn't want them going to waste so was wondering if there is a usb c adapter that the lightning cable plugs into and makes it usb c.
2) drafts app.
Much like times like now I write out notes and forum posts in an app called drafts and with one click of a button I can quickly output the writing to clipboard or even directly to a note in an app. This proves extremely useful when drafting posts for ready much like today!
https://getdrafts.com/
Basically looking for an android alternative. I'm a basic user of this app and I'm pretty certain I don't use it to its full potential.
3) Reddit.
I'm using an app called Apollo which is a beautiful app on iOS only. What is most people's most loved Reddit client?
4) Twitter.
Bit of a sore subject when I was on android with my S6 and went with tweetings back then. I'm spoilt with Tweetbot nowadays but have you a favourite twitter client that comes close to Tweetbot? I realise 3rd party apps are rather limited these days of course thanks to Twitter themselves.
5) Keyboard.
I used to stick with Samsung but briefly used gboard. iOS version is toilet but android was pretty slick. Is that still the case? On my S2 back in the day I went through a swipe phase using various swipe capable keyboards but not sure if I'd take to those again!
6) Find my device.
I'm sure I know the answer to this but on occasion it's useful to track my iPad or if my wife leaves her phone at someone's house we can confirm it but is the web browser the only way I'll be able to track iOS devices?
I'm sure I've forgotten something but your input is going to be helpful before I make the right decision and come over to an awesome phone!

1. Check Amazon. I found a couple Lightning to USB C adapters for less than $10. But you need to read reviews and make sure they're good quality. USB C is a little more finicky than microUSB. You don't want a company that cut corners.
2. I do the same. I usually use either Google Keep Notes, or Samsung Notes. Google Keep Notes syncs across all Android devices. Samsung Notes, as far as I know, is only available on Samsung devices, but will sync across those devices as well.
3. I'm not much of a Reddit guy. I usually just use their mobile website, but they have their own app on the Play Store as well.
4. I despise Twitter.
5. The Samsung Keyboard is better than it used to be, but I still prefer GBoard. And you can either type or swipe on either one, so best of both worlds.
6. There's a Find My Device app for the phone to track other phones.
5) Since this is on the Note 9 section: If your handwriting skills are semi-decent or better, do also try the handwriting keyboard options with S-pen. I'm currently using Google's handwriting variant (haven't had time to try different solutions yet), and oh boy, do I love that handwriting. I do occasionally switch to normal keyboards, depending on how complex stuff I need to input, but that is quick and easy switch back and forth. Note: I haven't written much with tiny mobile keyboards so I'm "s k<-l o q<-w" with those, but my handwriting is quite clear (even if I say so myself), so... YMMV. Maybe you have chance to try it at some shop?

I always forget about the handwriting. It does a great job even if your handwriting isn't so clear!
I just find typing or swiping faster for me!
3) I just use the Reddit app and it works great for me.
5) SwiftKey Keyboard is pretty much the gold standard. GBoard is fine but nothing has ever gotten me off SwiftKey for long. Better predictions, better features and customization... Unparalleled in both swiping AND hunt/peck.

Ok, you convinced me to.try SwiftKey again. About once a year I try it again. But always go back to GBoard.

What do you prefer about GBoard? I've tried it and wasn't thrilled.

Not sure really. I guess just familiarity? Just things about SwiftKey I can't seem to get used to.
Thanks so far!
