Restoring default app sound notification! - Redmi K20 Pro / Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro Questions & Answe

Been rocking this awesome device for 3 weeks now.
I have an issue with sound notifications for apps, phone overrides the app's default ones.
So far I wasn't able to figure out how to restore default app sound notification.
One example is this game I play KOA, sends different sound notifications for things happening in the game while screen is off, now all have the same sound notification assigned by the phone.
Any input is appreciated!

have you figure it out yet?

[Q] No Sound for Ringtone, Notification

I am running CM 10.2 on my HTC One and have noticed over the past few weeks that even when Volume is set to normal I don't hear any ringtones or notification sounds. When I go into Settings>Sounds I am unable to preview the ringtone or notification sound as well. Sound works in other apps such as Google Play Music and Apollo, and I hear a sound when I push the volume rocker up or down.
I have also cleared the cache for the sound settings app, disabled and re-enabled then re-booted.
Is anyone else having a similar issue? I am truly stumped by this!

[Q] Vibrate mode overrides individual app settings

Just picked up a Droid Turbo. I noticed when I have the phone in vibrate mode, I get a double buzz for EVERY notification on my phone, even on apps where I've specifically made sure to not enable vibrate.
For example, in the Messaging app, I've selected a notification sound, enabled notifications, but did not check the box next to vibrate. When I get a text, I get the double vibrate.
Is there something I'm missing, or is this a Moto bug/"feature"?
Unless you disabled notification sounds as well for the apps you are mentioning, you are describing the expected functionality for Android. Vibrate mode replaces all notification sounds with a vibrate patter. It does not simply disable sounds and leave only vibration preferences active.

Strange, I've had an LG and an HTC in the past and both behaved that way, where when vibrate mode was selected, it responded to each apps preferences.
Example scenario.
Gmail vibrate on notify, play sound on notify.
Google plus no vibration on notify, play sound on notify.
When in vibrate mode, id get buzzed for gmail as well as a notification icon, but for google plus id only get the notification icon.

Help change individual sound notifications?

HI Guys
recently got a Z3 compact. cool little phone but lacking in a lot of simple options compared to the likes of Samsung, etc.
I am trying to change individual sound notifications for various messaging notifications and also to change the sound notification of locking/unlocking screen.
Under; Settings > Sound & notification > Default Notification
This is where I change the sound for notifications, however this effects all notification sounds for all forms of messages, email, hangouts, etc. How do I change them individually?
Under; Settings > Sound & notification > Other Sounds
This is where I can choose 'On' or 'Off' for "Screen Locking Sounds'. However it does not allow me to change the sound that the phone has registered by default.
I downloaded various Super Mario Bros sounds and want to individualise sound notifications so that when my phone is receiving messages, etc it will play the various sounds and unlocking the screen will play the 'level up' sound, making it in all sound like my phone is playing Super Mario Bros. I had this on one of my Samsung phones and rather dissapointingly cant seem to do the same with this phone. I also downloaded apps called "Ringo" and "Lightflow" but they too don't allow me to make these personalised changes.
Any help or advice?
As you mentioned, you can change the sound each app uses for notifications but this is done within each app separately (e.g. email, texts, Facebook, etc). In other words, open each app and select the sound you want from within the apps settings.
You can't change the volume for them individually though, they'll all be at the same level.

Question Problem in Setting Specific Notification Sounds for Individual Contacts : Redmi Note 11 Global

I use distinct notification sounds (as well as ringtones) for 5 of my contacts. Remaining all contacts use default notification sound and Ring tone. Every thing was working fine till yesterday when I changed the default notification sound and default ringtone of my device. After that the specific notification sounds were changed whereas the specific ringtones continued working fine.
PROBLEM : Now when I try setting distinct notification sound of any of those 5 contacts it changes the sound but set the same for all five contacts. The specific notification sound set latest for any of contact become the notification for all contacts with specific notification sounds. Contacts set for default notification sound keeps working as desired.
I searched for the problem on internet and as per the guidance I deleted the data of messages app. That did not delete my messages as claimed but reset notification sound of all contacts as default. However when I set the distinct notification sound for those 5 contacts the problem persisted as before ... that is ... The specific notification sound set latest for any of contact become the notification for all contacts with specific notification sounds. Contacts set for default notification sound keeps working as desired.
I have been using this feature on android phones for many years but never encountered such problem .... Please suggest a solution !

New to Tasker - can it do this?

I am new to Tasker -- and before I start spending loads of time learning the language, I need to know if it can do the one thing I need most urgently.
My brand new Samsung S23 Ultra has one bad feature - vibration that is so soft I can't feel it. What I am looking to do is, essentially, switch between two sound profiles without having to go into settings and change a bunch of settings one by one. Setting one would be the normal sounds -- an MP3 ringtone and rather standard sounds. Setting 2 would change the "ringtone" to a sound that resembles a vibration, as well as changing the notification sounds (e.g. incoming text messages) to the same thing, and lowering the volume of the ringtone and notifications. That way, the phone will sound like a good old vibration, and thus sound like it was silenced (but I will hear the fake vibration and know I have incoming).
Can Tasker do this, and create buttons or the like to enable each sound profile?
Many thanks!
