[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][fajita][9]LineageOS 16 for microg - OnePlus 6T ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Other Dev

This is an unofficial custom build of LineageOS 16 for OnePlus 6T based on official LineageOS repositories.
I did this because it's not yet available on official LineageOs for microg database.
This rooted ROM includes full microg spoofing patch.
It has been build just using following docker command on a Linux-based system:
Code:
docker run -d\
-e "BRANCH_NAME=lineage-16.0" \
-e "DEVICE_LIST=fajita" \
-e "SIGN_BUILDS=true" \
-e "SIGNATURE_SPOOFING=yes" \

Are microG fully working good for u guys? App for car sharing detects the missing Google Play Services (i thinkg GmsCore shouldn't let app know about this) and whatsapp stops at the start saying he need google play services

Have you activated all microg features in microg settings ? You may need to allow some permissions on general applications settings also.

Dunno mate, this is my first time dealing with microg. Just tried a few hours. I managed to have Google Maps working. Didn't stay though, I went back to OOS as I didn't figure how to have Clash of Clans working on this ROM.

New build is up -> https://sourceforge.net/projects/lineageos-for-microg/files/lineage-16.0-20191017-UNOFFICIAL-fajita.zip/download

Snapchat doesn't detect the Google Play services. Any fix for this? Enabled all settings in MicrG.

Why the duplication?
Why is it necessary to do steps 3 and 4 over again?

Gets the ROM on both slots. This should only be necessary for the initial flash. When updating you should only need to do it once. Sometimes having two different ROMs on the different slots causes problems. (Like an AOSP ROM on one, and OOS on the other)

Cool. So this happens automatically right? I don't have to specify that I'm flashing on one and then flashing on the other.

Yes. ROMs should automatically flash to the opposite slot. When you reboot to recovery it will switch slots (only after flashing a ROM). Then you could flash other things like Magisk, Gapps (NOT on this ROM) etc, as you would now be on the slot that new ROM was installed.
Hopefully that explains it, and didn't muddy it up more?

Thanks a lot for this build! I was pretty disappointed after realising that there is no bundle with microG officially available. However I am having trouble to get this rom working. After installing it (on both slots) TWRP keeps telling me that no OS is installed and boots into fastboot mode. Only way to get it working again was via MsmDownloadTool.

Lineage OS 17.1 + MicroG for OP 6T
Any chance to build a new ROM Lineage OS 17.1 for MicroG for OnePlus 6T, which is already updated with Android 10? It will be excellent!!

is latest image up to date?
Hello! At first thanks for this image and your work! I need to flash LOS 16 on my new oneplus 6T and wanted to ask if the last version of from Oct, 2019 is still a useful version to use?

Expected so...cos cyanogen based all 6.0 MM roms has broken hwc ...which was fixed in recent versions of lineage os N roms...if only u can make a miui build on lineage 15.1..it will work

So if anyone can help me building miui 9 for our device which is based on lineage 14.1 could be helpful and i have made an test build of miui 9 based on marshmallow but unfortunately the launcher force closes and because of that the whole ui becomes unresponsive:crying:. so if anyone is there to help me out to build miui 9 for our beloved device would be grateful.

hwc has nothing to do with WhatsApp calling. WhatsApp calling has been fixed on both CM13 and LOS14/14.1
Launcher crashes all the time, i can go into settings, but there is no "google services" to chose from.
Been rebooting, wiping cache, dalvik, etc, tried a lot of different stuff. I selected Swedish language, could that **** stuff up?
Edit: i was not 100% charged, but would that really make a difference?

maybe, did you performed a full wipe before installing the rom ?

hi guys, anyone needs miui 9 theme for this rom?
here it is - MIUI 9 theme
installation procedure-
see the video- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vG96PDUReus
for detailed installation procedure

[Guide] Install Android Pie 9.0 (via Semi-GSI Version)

This guide will show you how to install Android 9.0 Pie using the (semi) Generic System Image built using the official release.
What is project treble?
I would suggest checking out Android Authority's Gary explains video which goes quite well into depth.
How is it incorporated into this guide?
Well as you read from the title, we will be using a Semi-GSI, meaning we are using a ROM made for the OP5 (in this case the Mokee ROM) underneath and the GSI as the "frontend".
Download Section
Latest OxyenOS version [Required]
Latest Mokee Rom Nightly [Required]
NoVerity (Encryption Disabler) [Required]
PR1 - Semi-GSI [Required]
Post GSI - 1 [Required]
Post GSI - 2 [Required]
Post GSI - 3 [Required]
Working Google Play Services apk [Required for stability]
Working Google Camera apk [Assuming you need a camera]
Camera Fix zip [Assuming you need a working camera ?]
Lag Fix(Inside this folder, called DP5 lag fix)
Redflare Kernel (Latest "Treble" build) [Highly recommended for stability]
Click to collapse
[0]Download everything above.
[1]MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT ENCRYPTED
- If you are: Wipe Data
- If you aren't: Well, it's always better to start clean, Wipe Data
[2] Flash the latest OOS firmware
[3]Flash the Latest Mokee Nightly ROM
[4]Flash the good old NoVerity.
[4]Boot up the System
[5]Vaguely setup the phone, I'd suggest skipping the network connection process, just let the phone think you're called John Smith, it's not that important I swear ?
[6]Reboot back to Recovery
[7]Now the fun part, in TWRP > Install > Install Image (I too wondered when I would ever use it again) > Install the extracted image from P-PR1-sGSI-Aonly.zip
[8] MOUNT VENDOR, don't forget!
Goto Mount > Check "Vendor"
[9] Install all the Post files you downloaded (1, 2 and 3)
[10] Reboot to system
[11]Now the ROM is booted, however it is not yet ready for daily use. I invite you to reboot back to recovery.
[12]Using the Advanced > File Manager, move the Google Play Services apk you downloaded from above to system/priv-app, find the old one and replace it with the new one
[13]Again using the file manager, move the Google Camera APK to /system/priv-app
[14]Flash the Camera Zip fix
[15]Flash the Lag Fix
[16](Optional but highly recommended)) Flash latest Redflare Kernel
Facing any Issues? Ask me here or here

A lot of people have already been doing this for a while tbh, since the developer previews with the DP/PR roms here. There's even guides on YouTube for it.
It's not AOSP Pie, it's S-GSI rom ported from Google Pixel DP/PR releases. And like said djsubstrain a lot of guides has been posted in the original topic [ROM][P][PORTED][semi-GSI] Android P Developer Preview
I purpose my tutorial from the DP4/DP5/PR1 release :
\01/ Back up your personal data, sms (with SMS Backup & Restore), etc on your computer
.

.
.
\06/ Don't Reboot, not needed!
.
.
\07/ Always in TWRP > Wipe "ONLY" partitions > Dalvik/Cache - Cache - System - Data
.
.
\08/ Now we will install the latest PR1 Android P (Yes!) : for more details, follow the topic
Link : https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr...ment/rom-android-p-developer-preview-t3816659
For A-Only Treble Devices :
TWRP > Install > Image > Flash the \02/e_ "P_PR1_A_only.img" (extracted from P-PR1-sGSI-Aonly.zip)
TWRP > Mount > Select "Vendor" partition
TWRP > Flash the \02/f_ POST-sGSI zips from 1 to 3 in the order
TWRP > Reboot > System
If the boot stuck at the O+ logo, back in recovery, mount Vendor/System partitions : TWRP > Install > Flash the \02/g_ FBE_Disabler
.
\09/ Normally, system boot fine, but you will encounter a Setup Wizard problem (can't be finished/data restored) because some Google apps are not updated
Use the File manager and install the \02/h_ Google Play Services & Google Play Store APK
Reboot system
.
.

When you purpose a Guide, think to post also all the rom link/credits/sources, so thank you @erfanoabdi
I don't understand the hate lack of love for this guide. I have already done this process and been running S-GSI for a bit. I find this guide to be more straightforward, with better layout, and best of all it's located in the OP5 specific forum, instead of getting buried in a generic Treble thread. It also provided some really helpful resources for fixing some bugs I've been living with. Thanks to the OP for this, and I look forward to future developments of AOSP/GSI/Treble! (Maybe soon my phone won't need to think it's a Pixel XL!)
PS - to anyone reading, I'm looking for some help with the hw keys. End goal is to have BACK as the right hw key, and APP_SWITCH as the left. Remapping BACK and APP_SWITCH keys in /system/usr/keylayout/Generic.kl results in both my hw keys acting as APP_SWICH even though I have them seemingly set to BACK.
I can post my file as well as the original if it's helpful.

Fair enough. edited my post to reflect. But as far as I can tell, this seems like an original piece of work. Nothing to me flags as "stolen from someone else" or anything like that.

Fairly sure answer is no. The rom you mentioned is just that, a rom, not treble based system image like described in this thread. Hope that helps!

No sorry you can't as PE doesn't support Treble. Don't worry it doesn't change anything to the UI or anything dw ?

[ROM][GUIDE][UNOFFICIAL] ResurrectionRemix, LineageOS 15.1 + MORE! - Project Treble

Hello fellow Redmi S2 community
We finally have some custom rom/ Project Treble roms available to use
Please NOTE: Most are unstable as daily drivers as we still don't have developer support for our little device
Disclaimer
You know the drill, I'm not responsible for what happens to your device
good luck!
Let's begin!
I have been testing different project treble roms AND the Miui base roms (ranging from stable Miui9 - 10 and beta's) to find the most 'stable' daily driver
The best combination to date is using the Sep 11th MIUI 10 global stable with Resurrection Remix.
However if you do want to experiment, I highly recommend doing so as the Project Treble roms are updating constantly.
I will leave links to recommended ARM - A roms below and the recommended MIUI 10 base roms to flash over.
What you need:
Miui Base rom both Fastboot & Recovery (I recommend MIUI 10 stable)
Project Treble GSI (gemeric system.img)
Fastboot installed on your PC - there are plenty of tutorials, use google
GAPPS (please note I have had a lot of difficulties installing gapps and HIGHLY recommend you download a rom with gapps go pre-installed. You can use apps like LINK2SD to delete the Go-version and install the fulll version later)
A little bit of patience and time - first boots can take 5-10minutes

Open GAPPS - I RECOMMEND USING MICRO-NANO-PICO. There are plenty of installation issues

Known Issues
There are many, let me know and I will compile a list
Brightness scaling
Auto-brightness
Instructions
Backup ALL data & partitions
Boot into TWRP recovery
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe data (backup)
Flash MiUi stock rom VIA fastboot
When rom flash is complete DO NOT BOOT THE ROM
Reboot into Fastboot
Make sure your GSI or system.img is in your Fastboot folder
Run this command: fastboot flash system the-name-of-your-rom.img
For example: fastboot flash system-180818-arm-aonly-vanilla-nosu.img
Now the ROM has been flashed, you can install TWRP, Magisk and GAPPS or just reboot into your new rom
If I helped you please thank me, it helps a lot enjoy your new project treble roms!

Hi guys
First of all I am NOT A DEVELOPER!
There are plenty of issues with every AOSP treble build but they can function OKish for daily use.
You can install almost any Project Treble GSI that has support fo devicesr: ARM - A
I recommend using ResurrectionRemix - it has been the most stable for daily use I have experienced so far
https ://sourceforge. net/projects/resurrectionremix-oreo/files/armaonly/
^ ^
-remove the spaces-
You need the system.img (Generic System Image - these are used for project treble roms) to proceed further.
THIS WILL DELETE ALL OF YOUR DATA. MAKE A BACKUP OR SAVE YOUR FILES ELSEWHERE.
and of course I am not responsible for anything that happens to your phone, do this at your own risk and be prepared to face bugs! and use google to find out how to overcome them.
good luck my friends!
Known issues:

Download the latest Miui 10 Beta recovery rom current - MIUI 10 8.8.30
Reboot to TWRP recovery
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe data (backup)
Advanced wipe- system cache dalvik data
Flash latest stock rom - MIUI 10 8.8.30 beta
Reboot to fastboot
Plug your phone into your computer
copy your downloaded GSI.img to your adb&fastboot folder
Flash via fastboot: fastboot flash system the-name-of-your-rom.img
Reboot into TWRP & install Magisk
- PLEASE NOTE I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH INSTALLING Gapps, PLEASE TRY AND FIND A ROM THAT COMES WITH Gapps. YOU CAN USE L2SD TO DELETE THE GO VERSION AND INSTALL THE FULL VERSIONS FROM PLAY STORE LATER-
Reboot
I am not a developer, this is not my main device but I am here to help solve any problems or try and help find solutions!

Looking forward to seeing more Project Treble roms out there!
Please support rom
Some applications are not supported because they support 64-bit architecture, which refmi s2 cpu can run 64-bit version. However, the developer has only 32-bit in operating system, which causes a lot of problems. One of the major problems is that you can not install a 64 bit application. Please help make this a ROM.
Users of Redmi s2 have asked the developers of Xiaomi's way to make a new ROM that supports 64-bit architecture, but has ignored it and has never talked about it.

Yes, camera works.
This build includes this workaround described by sony to make camera works.
There are some random issues, but it is quite rare, and you just have to restart camera app to get rid of them.

Yes, only for rebuilding the kernel.
It is really painful to setup, I used this guide and some advises from this, but it is far from straightaway guide.
You'll have to checkout old versions of android prebuilt gcc to get gcc because it was removed on master...

How do I mount the system as rewritable? I'm unable to in root explorer. Thanks for the rom it runs great so far. I have noticed a bug that status bar tuner doesn't open btw
Also, I don't believe that NFC is working correctly. I was unable to pay for gas, NFC kept turning on and off according to Google pay and trying to open the connectivity settings freezes and/or crashes the settings app, which actually happens on my pixels stable Android 12 anyway..lol.
I do have Magisk however all of my backing apps work and safety net is passing
For me dash charger isnt working.Start charging for a sec and then it stops. Quickcharge 3 charger works
Got this from Octobot, it was for PE12 but it works great. Flash this TWRP zip through FK kernel manager and reflash Magisk if you are rooted once TWRP boots. No crashdumps...etc.
Has anyone had luck getting this to work on Verizon. Just installed, and it doesn't detect sim

I'd assume the community took a break since it's the weekend of Christmas in the US, not sure if that would apply to the dev working on this project or not. I'd just be patient.
Of course. Im not one of those who nags at the guys who put in hard work to provide something for free, nothing irritates me more, lol. It's just been a while since the last release so im curious whether or not I should keep an eye on this thread or if Josh has moved on with something else for a while.
