Hi all,
I noticed that my proximity sensor isn't functioning. In fact when I call the screen remains active even if I put my hand over the sensor. I used CM10 so I reflashed stock GB ROM and it still does the same. If I use the *#0588# test I always get "Proximity: 1" value. It seems like my proximity sensor isn't working but my light sensor does. What could be the problem here?
I also tried cleaning the screen, lifting the protective plastic but no way, it still doesn't work. Also I dismounted the Galaxy S, tried to blow some air with a compressor, tried to clean the inner surface but no luck...

I've buyed a new one but nothing changes, do you have my same problem? Proximity sensor stuck at 5.0 cm?

after I installed the full-size Nillkin full size screen protector
I bought for the new Mi8 (with Chinese rom), the proximity sensor failed and the screen started to look black.
Unfortunately, it did not work to calibrate the sensor in the morning
is there another way of resetting the screen guard detection of the sensor to the yard? ?
Screen protector problem, replace it with another or run without.
i Bought new REDMi K20 Pro i think the proximity sensor is not working whenever i pickup a call my screen doesn't going off ive done CIT test in CIT proximity senson Value showing 5.0 and do not increase or decrease it stuck on 5.0 value
my screen has screen protector is this problem related with the screen (i do not want to remove it coz it cost me a lot)
if anyone haveing the same issue Please help to get rid of this problem it is very annoying

I am facing serious issue on my redmi note 10 pro,
Whenever i make a call the proximity sensor ( idk whether it really has one or not) works fine and when i have to hang up the call my screen doesn't turn on . It goes all Black, no response from the buttons or fingerprint sensor ,
i sometimes need to force restart the device.
If anyone could help will be thankful.
I am having the same Problem here.
Try changing always on display theme or try disabling always on display completely. Doing that solved my issue.
