[Help] Bootloop after unlocking Mi 9T PRO - Redmi K20 Pro / Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro Questions & Answe

Hi, thanks for reading:
I own a Mi 9T PRO 128GB.
After waiting for a week to unlock, I was able to do so.
Once I unlocked my device I tried to flash TWRP. I flashed a few until I found mauronofrio's TWRP.
Once I entered TWRP I couldn't read my data partitition so I selected Format inside Wipe option.
Now I'm stucked at fastboot logo!
I've tried to manually flash the official ROM I was using (raphael_eea_global_images_V10.3.4.0.PFKEUXM_20190923.0000.00_9.0_eea_65ad59b1cb) manually using fastboot.
Now I have original recovery, but it still won't boot. It just keeps resetting to Miui Unlocked screen.
Please, help me.

No. When it boots, it shows the word unlocked. Then it goes straight to fastboot.

I don't have the answer, but don't sweat it for now. If your bootloader is still unlocked and you gave access to fastboot. There is a way to recover.

I'm going to follow these steps:
Flashing Recovery ROMs using XiaomiADB
Download and unzip XiaomiADB from here.
Download the Recovery ROM you want to flash from here.
Enter MiRecovery by holding power and volume up simultaneously for 5-10 seconds, then select the third option (Connect with MiAssistant / 连接小米助手).
Connect the device to your PC and open a command prompt in the unzipped folder by typing cmd into the address bar and hitting enter.
Type xiaomiadb sideload_miui into the command prompt, then drag and drop the downloaded ZIP on the command prompt window and hit Enter.
Wait until the installation finishes.
Disconnect the device and wait for it to boot in.
The first boot may take up to 15 minutes.
Wish me luck
PS: I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW SLOW IS TO DOWNLOAD EVERYTHING FROM MIUI. Current speed is 75kbps from https://bigota.d.miui.com/

If the device doesn't reboot or some apps crash after reboot, you need to manually format the device using "format-data" command!

Tell us what do you want to do? Flash stock rom with TWRP? Or do you want to go with a custom rom?

IT'S ALIVE
Finally MiFlash 2017.4.52.0 did the trick.
I flashed raphael_eea_global_images_V10.3.4.0.PFKEUXM_20190923.0000.00_9.0_eea_65ad59b1cb
It took around 600 seconds
After that, finally I have my device again.

Flash TWRP, then reboot to it, after you enter TWRP, erase data type YES, after you format data, copy disable_dm_verity file to your phone and flash it in twrp. LINK: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1395089523397966811
This will block your phone from restoring the stock recovery and will make twrp permanent, and your phone should boot normally.

Hi!
I'm stuck in the exact same spot at OP (stuck in fastboot loop).
I'm unsure how to put roms on the phone, or any data for that matter.
I was in twrp, then i disabled MTP and rebooted, now i can't get back to twrp. When i flash twrp again, it does not show up, instead goes to fastboot no matter the button combination.
Could you or someone please provide me some help. I'm very new to this process and am afraid i've bricked my phone.
Thank you!

I was unlocking bootloader and now 15 minutes I only see mi logo and moving dots above android.
Is this normal and I must wait more or is this soft brick?

How to go back to MIUI?

Hi there, I have a Mi5 device that has:
* Bootloader Unlocked & Root
* Resurrection Remix, TWRP
I am going to give this device to someone else and I want to go back to MIUI ROM, stock recovery and have the bootloader locked again. What method should I use to do that, Fastboot? Thanks.
I cannot post links, so: google for following string: "Here - Xiaomi MIUI Official Forum" and open first result
There will be an official Xiaomi fastboot flashing guide.
You will need to dowload "Xiaomi Mi 5 Latest Global Stable Version Fastboot File"

Guide to Flash TWRP (Unofficial) and Root Redmi Y2/S2 (YSL)

Here I present you my toolkit for flashing TWRP and rooing Redmi Y2/S2/YSL.
Requirements
1. PC
2. Fastboot Drivers
3. Unlocked Bootloader (Guide)
4. Flashing TWRP Toolkit
5. Magisk flashable file
Steps for Flashing TWRP
1. Download the file. Link given in the end of the threads.
2. Boot your device into Fastboot mode (in power off state press power button + volume down button).
3. Connect your device from pc.
4. Now open the downloaded folder and run the file "Flash.bat".
5. Then press any key to continue.
6. Now your phone will automatically boot into TWRP.
7. Now you have sucessfully flashed Twrp.8. Before rebooting your device do flash lazyflasher-no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip.
Note :-
* If you don't flash Lazy Flasher then the Custom recovery will be replaced with stock recovery in next Boot.
Steps for Rooting
1. Download and place the Magisk zip fiile into your device.
2. Boot your device into TWRP Recovery (in power off state press power button + volume up button).
3. Select the option of 'Install' and then locate the directory where you have placed the Magisk file and select it.
4. After selecting the file, swipe the arrow loacted at the bottom.
5. When the flashing is completed click on 'Reboot System'.
6. After the phone has booted successfully install magisk apk.
Congrats you have rooted your device !!
Note :-
* This is Exclusively for Redmi Y2/S2/YSL and if you try this on any other device probably you may be bricking your device!!
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed.
* First boot may take upto 15-20 mins. So don't panic.
Links :-
* TWRP Toolkit - Click here
* Lazy Flasher - Click here
* Magisk - Click here
will try this as soon i am able to unlock my bootloader, thanks!
(i hate xiaomi for locking the device for 1 month....!! )
Flashing LF ends in endless boot. No loop but endles bootscreen 1,2,3 dots endlessly! Any ideas ?
So I got stuck on Bootscreen.
I flashed MIUI with TWRP and was back on stockrom with stockrecovery.
Then I booted TWRP temporarely with ADB. (adb command: fastboot boot twrp.img )
Now I installed Magisk and I am happy now
Just DON´T install TWRP. Boot it temporarely !
I used MIUI from here: https://www.theandroidsoul.com/download-miui-10/
Screen asking for PASSWORD.
The TWRP screen asks for password. Default password does not work and after format data the files are not displayed. Same case in clicking cancel.
use xiaomi eu roms they dont ask twrp password
twrp password
Twrp asks for password. What kind of password is this? How to use twrp without the password? How to use this twrp?
Has anybody got rooted redmi s2 finally?
In particular, with stock rom?
finally yes
When TWIRP asks for password nothing helps. The only thing I could do is to wipe ALL THE PARTITIONS except for external SD card, of course. Yes , you loose everything on your phone. Now, you flash the ROM you want (I flashed the stock ROM). After that, you flash the Magisk file. It is important not to reboot in between. After rebooting you have the new system installed. After initial configuration, you have to manually install the Magisk Manager apk.
P.S. the Lazy thing is not needed. TWRP persists.
Want mbn file of unlock bootloader redmi y2
i need emmc_appsboot.mbn file of unlocked Redmi y2(s2) 's bootloader.
If someone has unlocked y2 then please send me the file.
This TWRP for Custom ROM, and if you flash on RI MIUI will not work with any method as well. Especially if you Flash LazyFlaser will certainly be bootloop (stuck on logo)

to be able to use this application you must enter EDL mode or "TEST POINT". After devices are detected 9008 on PC, proceed with running the application. Don't forget to enter the "firmware27" password.
Hopefully it can help for UBL redmi YSL without having an official UBL.

The problem is I updated Pixel Experience and after changing active slot on TWRP I now have the stock recovery
Hello
Same here after installing pixer experience when i try to go recovery , stock recovery come back , how to do , did i have to install twrp again or what?
fastboot --set-active=a
or b
this depends on version of fastboot but you can see all cmd by using "help"
alternatively just run :
fastboot boot recovery.img
***this will boot recovery without installing it but then you can install magisk or install a twrp recovery zip or you can change active slot in the reboot button or tab
**** obviously for this to work you need to put twrp in the fastboot / adb folder and rename it to recovery.img and also open cmd window there with aright click

hardbrick? or just my stupidity? Do not laugh at me :'v (lie, if you can do it)

I am new and I don't have much experience in custom rom, recovery, kernel etc. and I think I was wrong in some procedure.
I have a problem with my Moto E5 XT1944-3, I wanted to install the TWRP by following these steps:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e5/development/recovery-twrp-3-2-3-x-moto-e5-plus-t3912189
(I have the bootloader unlocked)
The inconvenience came when I restarted in recovery mode and the touch did not work (only in recovery mode), which led me to flash again twrp-x.x.x.x.img but still the same. What I ventured on the Internet to find solutions and simplifying, I ended up flashing the recovery img as follows: fastboot flash boot twrp-x.x.x.x.img (I guess the problems started there)
*The E5 did not turn on with the logo and did not start the OS, I tried to use the Lenovo tool to restore the E5 and it says that it is not compatible (maybe because of the unlocked bootloader) although it allowed you the option to search for it within the "compatible" smartphones . I tried from the fastboot tool to try to revive the E5 but it does not start the system. Nor does he let me use: fastboot erase system / data / recovery; to try to make a clean installation.
* The last thing I try is to reinstall the TWRP and try to use the USB-OTG with the mause, but, although it has electricity, the mause does not appear and if the screen is turned off and then on again it remains blank forcing me to a forced restart.
* Oh and download an AOSPEXTENDED ROM and install the img with fastboot and it didn't load the logo but the boot animation but it was just a loop
* Any idea what to do?
* I think that if the recovery worked correctly, I could solve this.
Greetings from Argentina using the google translator :dedos cruzados:

Do not downgrade from Pie to Oreo! Once Pie is installed there is no way back to Oreo.
TWRP can't decrypt /data on Moto G6. Start TWRP, don't enter a password and hit cancel. Go to "Wipe > Format Data (do not use 'Advanced'!!) > type 'yes' and swipe to confirm".
Next reboot to recovery twice!
Now /data is unencrypted and you must flash the no-verity/disable_forceencrypt.zip in order to stay unencrypted. A reboot to system without that .zip will encrypt your /data again.
---------- Post added at 10:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:53 PM ----------
Flashing newest Magisk v20.4 will cause a bootloop. Use v19.3 instead and update Magisk through Magisk Manager when v19.3 is installed without any issues.

Flashing newest Magisk v20.4 will cause a bootloop. Use v19.3 instead and update Magisk through Magisk Manager when v19.3 is installed without any issues.

It's not a decryption.zip, it's a forceencryption-disabler.

I guess you don't reboot to system after flashing the stock ROM, do you?
One of the last fastboot commands was "fastboot erase userdata". The missing reboot command is the reason for your problem!
