Rhinoshield crashguard POCO f1 alternative - Xiaomi Poco F1 Accessories

Hi,
I was checking for metal/tpu based edge bumper case/frame
For sample you can check https://rhinoshield.io/pages/crashguard
My main requirement is that it should be only edge bumper case meaning no back panel/ glass/ sheet.
It's seems to be difficult to be found, I have tried searching on multiple platforms but no help.
I did contact Rhinoshield but even they said it's not available.
If any one has any details, and if the company is charging extra to customize it, that is also okay for me.
Biswajeet

I'm also interested in bumper-only. Any news ?

Athena Crystal Case

Is there such a thing? The crystal cases for other devices such as the Tytn 2 are great!
I havent seen anything yet..I had a clear case for my treo 650 that had a flip up cover for the screen as well so you can access it to touch and keep the case on...loved it
I am looking for the same thing.
its kinda hard to believe they dont have a CC case yet...or none of us have managed to source it yet....some devices have Crystal cases available on ebay even before the device itself is available. Still well after the advantage was available.... no crystal cases.
Fingers x'd that some chinese plastics factory see's this thread and gets their act in gear!

due to the nature though of this pda/phone i don't think they will otherwise they would have made the plastic version of the Aluminum cases which would have been brilliant as they wouldn't block the sat nav reception.
maybe someone that raeds this baord and does work with polycarbonate could replicate the aluminum case in polycarbonate as that is as close to the
crystal case as you can get
sort of related to the other post i saw somewhere in the athena section. website was planning to come up and sell a silicon case for the athena. you know, those rubbery things that come in different colors for phones.
but alas, nothing came up. i'd be interested in one or a crystal case as well.
cheers
Any traction on this thread in the last month?
Anyone gotten anywhere on this issue?

Found Clear Case for HTC Advantage 7510
This looks promising. I'm thinking about buying this one and see how well it works.
http://www.bloochoo.com/product_info.php?currency=USD&products_id=550694
I just wish re-sellers would actually put a picture of the product with the correct device so that a potential customer like myself can see how it looks.
QsWorld
Then maybe you better get this one, as it is seems to be specifically for the X7500:
http://www.bloochoo.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_78_9644&products_id=550665
Different product code, so the cutouts of the X7510's non-existing buttons may be different.

{UPDATE: *INSTALLED* Pix added} *Real* Carbon Fibre Composite Cases

Just as the subject line states: Who is interested in a *Real* Carbon Fibre Composite Case for their Samsung Galaxy Tab?
There is a company in Florida that made my HTC Supersonic (Evo 4G) Carbon Fibre Composite Case. Very very good quality stuff, not only the quality of the fabric is top notch but the fitment is perfect.
About a week ago i contacted them and asked if they would be manufacturing a case for our Galaxy Tabs and they are waiting to see how many requests they get before putting the time in on developement and testing.
How much you ask? Not exactly sure, but they manufacture a case for the iPad which is $124.95 and a majority of their smartphone cases are $99.95, so i would say pricing would be on or around $124.95 for this case.
If you guys are interested, please contact them via Facebook @ www.facebook.com/infinitycarbon or on their website @ http://www.InfinityCarbon.com.
Thanks in advance!
Today, 12/27/10, i was contacted by Infinity Carbon:
"Good news! We are currently working on cases for the Galaxy Tab and they should be available in our store in just a couple of weeks!"
*EDIT*
PROTOTYPE PIX ADDED!!!
Here are pix of the Prototype Carbon Composite Piece. Infinity Carbon has informed me that *INSTALLED* pix will be available sometime next week, which i will post as well. If you would like, you can also PRE-ORDER your Carbon Fibre Composite Case *NOW* just go to:

Any questions, post um, pm um, or you may contact Bryan @ www.InfinityCarbon.com directly or on Facebook @ www.facebook.com/infinitycarbon. My email / gtalk address is [email protected] and MSN is [email protected]
If not, everyone have an Awesome, yet safe Happy New Years!!!
i would definitely interested as long as the sides are protected as well =)
I voted yes but then got to thinking about it. Carbon Fiber is very strong but not made to hold up against scuffing and scraping. now if they put a very durable coating over the carbon then I would be interested in it.
What I'd love to see is this type of cover but one that replaces the back cover totally..and wraps around the sides protecting them too. that would make it almost nude size-wise and back pocketable. And, yes, I know that would void my warranty..but looking at my ATT Tab and its faux back carbon lookalike cover made me wish for the real thing..and gave me that idea.

Sounds like an appliqué like the PhantomSkinz Chromatics would suit your needs. Do a little XDA searching for feedback, and I posted a link in the Accessories sub-forum regarding the Tab. It's just a sticker, but it's a good sticker.
OK Guys, i just got conformation from Infinity Carbon that they are going to go ahead and start the manufacturing process for our Galaxy Tabs!!!
From Infinity Carbon:

I have had poor experience with real CF cases on wireless devices. They look great, they are extremely light and sleek, but they interfere with signal in a major way. In fact one that i purchased for an iPhone i had was a CF/Kevlar composite fabric made specifically to reduce interference, and yet it still caused very noticable interference.
If the weave was thin and loose, then perhaps it would work better in regards to signal, but then it would not be as strong or visually appealing IMO.
good job pls try to do a type of way to have teh cf wrap the sides or at least protect the sides similar to gel cases, i know that you can make flexible type of cf ( i used to work with a cf company for scion parts ) just hope it will look great and protect well =)

Do they have a tighter weave they can use?

They use what most Carbon Fibre Composite Parts are manufactured with, 2x2 3k. I'm not sure if you mean 1x1, aka Plain Weave, which cuts the looks down to tinys sqaures instead of what you see here.

I doubt we will be offering the 1x1 plain weave as that is not very sought after these days but we can always make it as a custom order so if they want to email me we can discuss the options. [email protected]

Mi Smart Wake-up Flip case

This review is of the Mi Smart Wake-up Flip case in Blue/Grey.
Overall it seems quite well made it contains a hard shell case inside for the phone.
The phone fits quite snug inside the shell.
The outside is made of quite hard plastic & a perspex window, on the inside it has a felt type material inlayed on the plastic.
It has the Mi Logo embossed in silver on the back which looks quite nice.
By the overall feel of it I believe this case will wear quite well probably better than the MOFI & has good protection all round for drops & knocks.
All the appropriate cutouts are big enough & clear every peripheral device needed, the speaker holes are not covered in any way & it's even slimmer than the MOFI case.
Again as with the MOFI case if you have the back flipped open & pick up the phone it covers the fingerprint reader...so it needs to be closed or semi closed to unlock :/
I'm not too sure whether I will use this case as I'm not a fan of the large window but that's a personal preference.
A Thanks goes toTo2c.com as for ordering the RN4 it was a gift.
I have this exact case! Since the XRN4 isn't really a mass circulation device (at least outside of China), I had to go with it since this was the only case the vendor had on hand. I must say, it isn't bad but the pleather coating is kind of cheap-feeling and I'm just not a huge fan of cases flip cases.
On top of that, the top, bottom and left side of the device are exposed -- so if you put this into your pocket, make sure you don't have coins or what-not because they may ding your XRN4.
Since this is a Chinese device, one of Hong Kong's popular accessory makers, Nillkin, has a few cases for it. I put in an order for a TPU case as well as a harder plastic case. This case isn't terrible -- for the price I got it at (around $7), it's a solid deal -- but I'm probably going with those Nillkin ones as alternating daily drivers since flip cases really mess with my device usage flow.
Guys I bought this case also for my Note 4 - but I cannot get it to unlock or lock when flipping open or shut. I have enabled it in the settings (Lock -> smart cover lock or unlock screen). I turned on Smart Cover and I choose a case type of "Transparent front cover".
Any ideas how I can get this to work? I am using the official Global MIUI ROM.
we shut the cover . .... I need like samsung or something like devices has that option like clock or notification and like that on smart view .. is that any app for that mates????
Keep in mind this type of case will not work with custom roms due to not having access to the kernel files for the phone.
Could you please provide link to the case?

That would be nice to know before buying it, and changing to AOSP EXTENDED custom rom.
Now I am trying to find how to make flip smart case to work!

They may work now cause custom kernals are available. But the flip case is a bit rubbish so I don't bother with it.

Oh! Thanks for the clue. I know the case is a bit rubbish, due to the fingerprint sensor in the back... but I have it, so I should use it, while I find a good tempered glass solution.

Review SCHNAIL titan note 20 ultra case

Been testing the case for the past three days.
Durable feels Good in hands
Camera bump is well covered
USB type c flapper for extra protection
Kick stand
Observations
Case shape is on top makes it a little harder to pull notifications, however within settings that's fix by pulling it down from within the screen on the bottom, spen slot sits a little bit high.
I want to thanks SCHNAIL for all around great case and giving me the opportunity to participate with the product development, I will use this case daily it offers the right protection.
You didn't "participate with the product development" - the case is already for sale. You fell for a marketing ploy to promote a product across various forums through inherently biased "reviews" generated by promotional discounts (something you should always disclose if you want to appear even remotely ethical).
It is helping with 'product development' because they can take the information from these reviews and use it to improve future cases for future devices. Not exactly hard to understand. I'll be posting my honest review in a few days as my FREE cases are on the way.

ISO "protective" style cases, really hard to find

So among my several slight disappointments upon receiving my 7T the other day is how hard it is to find the kind of case I like (in the US). After much experimentation with 3 different models of OP, I only like "ultra slim" cases with exposed volume and power buttons. The case like this most people would recognize is the "classic" official OP "protective case." Yes, I know the top and bottom are exposed but I don't care; I'm all about the naked buttons. Beside the official OP cases go out of stock almost immediately and are way too expensive (I wouldn't pay more than @$10 for a case).
https://imgur.com/ZAAYWmP
The vast majority of cases for my old OP6 and my new 7T have covered buttons that are very unpleasant to press, regardless of the rest of the design. Even my go to Nillkin Frosted was redesigned for the 7T with covered buttons.
You can still buy the standard very cheap Chinese case I always get, but it takes forever to come. These are *never* available in the US *anywhere* for some reason, but foreign sites like Daily Objects have had literally dozens of cases in this style for every OP phone until the 7T. No more.
I actually did find the ideal case and it available from Amazon for US shipping. The company is Kalibri and this is the only OP case I've ever seen with *both* exposed buttons *and* covered top and bottom, which is ideal and unique. But it's ~$30 (again). Oddly the Kalibri brand seems more or less exclusive to Amazon and international Amazon sites have a better selection but they are not shipping to the US these days.
So do a brother a favor: if you happen to stumble across a case with exposed buttons for under $20 please let me know by pm or a reply to this post. Thanks!
