This happens if you wipe system and reboot recovery without flashing another ROM first.

Im on LOS right now. It booted without issues. What do I have to do to boot this ROM?
I mean, do I really have to flash a stock ROM over and over again every single time? what?

You don't need to flash Stock ROM !
Can I ask you which one of stock ROM you have flashed before flashing LOS ? It it's MIUI10 EU 9.8.1, you just need to :
1. Reboot to TWRP
2.Format Data
3.Reboot to TWRP again
4.Copy any ROM you want to flash into your phone
5.wipe cache/dalvik cache/system, then flash ROM
6.If ROM without google play services, then you can flash Gapps. If ROM with google service, skip this step
7.Reboot to system and finish ROM setup

You need to flash an MIUI version coming from LOS since it uses it's own vendor unlike other ROMs.

I think your ROM with problem about wifi or LTE connection when going into initial setup !
No network and it keeps showing circling when setup ROM...

Use MiFlash to reinstall MIUI and then go from there. You should then be able to reinstall TWRP and do whatever you need to. Make sure not to relock your bootloader with MiFlash, there is an option at the bottom.

Oh

Latest rom clean install stuck on infinite EvolutionX boot logo. Did repeat the data/cache wipe, still doesn't boot. LOS 16 works for me and I remember this rom worked for me a month ago, too.

Same here. I was updating from 21/11/2019 build and it got stuck on EvolutionX boot animation. Tried clean flash, same thing. Flased another ROM, works fine. Clean flashed latest EvolutionX again same thing stuck on boot animation.
Edit: Seems like others have the same problem in the telegram group

Hi. What TWRP are you using? I had that problem with the version "TWRP 3.3.1-0 with Tissot Manager (Giovix92)", but I installed the standard TRWP and so the bootloop is not produced.

Be sure you really did a clean install.
Wipe dalvik, system and data.
In my case, I did that on both slots, A/B, before flashing ROM and recovery.
Flash ROM and recovery on both slots too.
If you're using TWRP with Tissot manager, be sure to uncheck active slot flashing.
Magisk flashing just at the end of all procedure.

You meant for gaming ? Edge detection if yes you can fix that by flashing patch made by booluck (works on all roms)

if it boots to recovery directly after flashing you need to format data ? (internal will be wiped)

What about selinux?
Is there any button configuration like "long press home to screenshot"?

Added rare functions of PE firmware, very satisfied. The only problem is that the long screenshot function is not normal, and it always prompts that scrolling screenshots are not supported, but sometimes it works well, or it stops after scrolling one screen to the end, or scrolling screenshots succeeds, but the lower part is a black area and there is nothing .
I wonder if it can be fixed in the next patch? I have used the PE9.0 firmware made by Orgasmtrron. The long screenshot function in it is great without any problems, but I sent him a message from the site and did not reply to me.

Does this rom support VOOC charging, or charging becomes slower?

Upper Two Edges Outside the Screen
Is there a way to fix the upper two edges? They are a little outside the screen.
I already installed the mentioned screen fix.

Camera SD Card
Is it just me or is the SD Card makeing problems? Some Apps just have read-only access. The Camera App for example. I can select save to SD Card, but the Pictures are not saved at all.
Any Idea?

First Time Install / Clean Flash
0. Unlock your bootloader, yes!
1. Flash "MIUI China Official" version "12.0.8.0" before beginning. (You must have it flashed onto your device before beginning, definitely must!) by your preferred method.
1.2 Make sure what you have flashed is MIUI China Official V12.0.8.0 and not Xiaomi.EU
2. Flash the LRTeam TWRP (Known in the community as Chinese TWRP, no mauro's TWRP)
Move the file onto your device and flash it via "Install ZIPs" or you can go to go into sideload mode and run "adb sideload rom.zip" to have it sideloaded.
3. After flashing, "format" (not wipe) your data.
4. Reboot to System
5. Follow the post-flash instruction in the second post and #KeepEvolving

1. Download the proper flashable ZIP for your device
2. You can flash via Updater OR Recovery, if recovery follow the third step
3. Reboot to Recovery

Fod
We use LOS fod implement (Thanks to @framework_res )
For FOD reabilty use Vivo Cyan or Vivo Green as FOD color.
(The Evolver->Lock Screen -> FP pressed effect.)
When you swich fod color please re-scan fod.
Screen Flickering but we need Kernel dev. for this issue
SafetyNet
If you want pass Safety**** with magisk you should enable MagiskHide from magisk settings.
Audio Issue
This is issue about audio bass on umi when volume %100.
You can fix that using Viper4Android

You should Install MIUI China 12.0.8.0 Stable others versions has problems.

Thanks for Team Evolution X:good:. The rom seem good for initial version of this Mi 10. Some of the bugs which hope to improve. 1st fast wireless changing. It can be charge but it seem not fast changing. 2nd the 10MP cam cannot be enable, only 2.7M photo can be set. 3rd. fingerprint seem not working very well. Please share your experiences if am wrong . Anyway, it is a very cool custom rom for it and waiting for next version. Thanks.

If I am using the now defunct 5.7 official release will it cause problems to dirty flash this new unofficial version via TWRP without wiping everything? Just wondering if I need to just wipe and start over or not.

I haven't tried to refresh from the old version to this new version. I suggest you wipe it again. Of course, if you want to update / dirty flash through the old version, please back up the data in advance. I don't know if there will be problems.

Any way to pass safetynet? Magiskhide not working on my end.

AB is supporting evolution x official again for 6/6t

Followed all instructions (latest oos 10 on both slots) then flash rom/latest recovery again. Then flash magisk. All worked fine and can boot to system. BUT ...
When flashing Gapps (niksgapps and flame also) I get error 1 no space in system partition.
How can I resolve this error?
