P9 Plus not booting after flashing twrp backup - Huawei P9 Plus Questions & Answers

Hi i have this p9 plus vie-l29, i unlocked the bootloader, installed twrp and root, everything worked perfect until i found a backup online and restore it using twrp. Since then, P9 shows "device has failed verification and may not work properly".
I boot to erecovery, but i got this error: "getting package info failed", I tried to flash again twrp from fastboot and resccue mode, but not working because i did a factory reset and cannot activate usb debugging. It still has stock recovery but I only have 3 options, reboot, clear cache and factory data reset.
Can you give me a solution to this please? If i try dload method from sdcard, should work?
UPDATE: So, I tried dload method, did not worked for me. Now phone is in service center, I hope it can be fixed.

P9 bricked... :(

So, I tried to root my phone using the SRKTool, however, while trying to install ADB sideload it gave me an error, stupidly, I ignored it, went to chainfire, downloaded SuperSU, and transferred it to my phone, went back into TWPR and attempted to flash it and I got an error saying failed to mount '/data' invalid argument. I try rebooting my phone, yet it always takes me too erecovery instead of rebooting the system, I tried formatting my system to FAT in an attempt to remove the failed to mount error. Still doesn't work. I can't transfer any files from my computer to my phone and I have no idea what to do. Help would be appreciated. (I can't enter stock recovery only TWRP)
So u have TWRP installed. Download zip with your phone Stock Rom . ( Try to use full rom ) put it in your SD and install it true TWRP. After that swipe for factory reset ans reboot phone. U will lose TWRP.

Umbrick my P9 with a corrupted ROM file. I can only access fastboot, it does not go into recovery mode. I had USB debugging disabled. I tried everything and I can not access recovery. It is in bootloop. I am from Brazil and I do not have technical assistance and warranty. Does anyone have a solution?

Use this guide to unbrick, its for P8 but works the same on P9, just use the update for P9.

Need help REMOTE COMMAND NOT ALLOWED (Can't go back to stock)

I have an L19C900B220 origanally C185, I tried changing the cust and got stuck on C900, and I also lost root access for some reason, so I tried to reboot to TWRP but it would just take me back to huawei recovery, so I went on SRK and tried to reflash TWRP and it gave me an error (Remote command not allowed) I tried to relock the bootloader same error, I tried to flash the revcovery.img through adb and got the same error, and I checked that OEM unlock was turned on, any ideas? Also DLOAD method gives me something along the lines of your deivce isn't compatible with this software or something
EDIT: NOW ON TWRP 3.1.0-0 can't mount data or system, can't do a data format either, don't know where to go from here, also lost access to use my phone so need an urgent fix, found out I'm still on NRD90M test-keys firmware
EDIT: Flashed recovery and boot, tried to flash system.img it said it worked in SRK, but my phone would be stuck on the bootloader warning screen
From where did you download your firmware? Use official website to download for right and not corrupted firmware.

Forced recovery stuck at 5%

Hey all. I was trying to rollback my P9 to a stock ROM, but it failed and now I am stuck with a bricked P9 (bootloop).
My phone is a European P9 (EVA-L09C432). I have an unlocked bootloader.
- Huawei eRecovery and HiSuite restore does not work.
- I've tried forcing the update using the SRK Tool brick utility, but receive the message "FAILED (remote: sparse flash write failure)" when it's strats writing 'system'.
- My TWRP backup does not work, I had a 7GB backup that installs fine, but the phone is still stuck in a bootloop.
- I can flash EVA-L09C432B378 ROM using the SRK brick utility fine, but the phone is still stuck in a bootloop.
- After I have installed B378 and try to force flash B136 using the dload method, it either gets stuck on the "going into restore mode" or it goes to the "installing package" screen, where it is stuck at 5% until it reboots.
Any suggestions?
try one more time install rollback package by download mode
I've tried. Several times, all day :crying: My process:
Write TWRP from fastboot so I can boot into TWRP and transer UPDATE.app to the dload folder
Reboot into fastboot
Write stock recovery image from fastboot
Boot into recovery mode
Get stuck at 5% on the "Installing update" screen.
I've tried the UPDATE.app or firmware B136 (stock), and UPDATE.app for B378 (Nougat)
Both get stuck at 5%.
I'm stuck at the bootloop
isn't srk tool only for MM?
maybe try extract recovery , boot and system partition from b378 and flash by fastboot , next start flash rollback package by download mode
I noticed when I tried to restore my backup using TWRP it failed at "vendor" (Failed to wipe vendor). I receive this issue at vendor and product.
I tried using fastboot to flash vendor and product manually, I receive these error messages:
"failed: remote command not allowed"
The phone won't allow me to write vendor and product.img... but my bootloader was unlocked?
Is it possible I could have relocked my bootloader? How am I supposed to get the bootloader code for my P9 again :/ It's nearly impossible.
I managed to use the recovery dload method to install a beta version of B378 (build number NRD90M test-keys). Will now try to use the recovery method to roll back to B136 and update back to B378 again.

Bricked P8 Lite 2017

Hello Everyone,
I tried to revive my P8 Lite 2017 and it's impossible. I followed every guide I found but anything work for me.
I have access to bootloader also recovery.
erecovery not working, fail when try to download.
recovery not working factory reset stock at 99%
bootloader I can flash but maybe i didn't find the right firmware.
The version I had was PRA-LX140B105.
More information.
I deleted some picture so I tried to recover this photo so I used undeleter, diskdigger and these app said if you're rooted you have more change to find things.
I rooted the phone and when I used this apps, wanted to come back to factory so I flashed supposedly a stock rom from firmware finder huawei. I flashed boot, recovery and system. The first time I boot stuck on your device is booting now, after that i swith off my phone and tried recovery I do wipe cache also wipe data and factory reset then again 99%. I swith off again my phone start again the factory reset by itselft and then say completed, phone reboot and then i see the animation and stuck on huawei logo after that reboot by itselft and then open erecovery. Again I Turn off phone try to swith on and stuck on your device is booting now..
I don't know what more I can do.
I tried to put update.app inside dload folder in sd card but it fails
flash TWRP, restore this https://mega.nz/#!vspAXIZI!yHj-2n9DuGvb-ZdsemOgw4k3vQTMy7CJXIGFAhJlplo in TWRP, flash stock recovery, update to the newest firmware, do a factory reset and flash a recovery of your choice.
to get the backup to work, first create a random backup in TWRP then go to TWRP/BACKUPS/*random numbers* and put the downloaded backup there
How to root this big brick?! Damn huawei site not allows me to login! Need root bcs of few apps dmn **** nobody dont know and dont want to help me here???

EVA-L09 inconsistent state

Hi there!
I have a P9 (EVA-L09) on my desk, which is in an inconsistent state. Meaning, that it in original condition it was a C02 with German Vodafone branding. Then the owner flashed some Nougat beta (can't remember which one), wasn't happy with Nougat and wanted to go back to MM by using the official rollback package provided by Huawei. The dload update failed and then he tried to flash different versions stock roms (can't remember either), leaving it in a constant bootloop. So first thing i tried was flashing TWRP. It boots up, but the touchscreen is not working. I think this is because some of the partitions where destroyed (firmware e.g.). So I flashed the C432B182 recovery and tried to dload the C432B182 firmware. The update process stops at 5%, maybe because in the meantime the device was converted to a C900? So I tried to get some C02 firmwares. The oldest I could get was C02B339. dload started the update process and failed at nearly 100% with the "Software install failed" message - no additional information. Because I have only fastboot and no adb connection, I can't rebrand to C432 (only adb shell in twrp is running, but I can't access the internal memory from there - or can I?). So these are the hard facts and I don't see any way to get a working rom on the P9. So, is there anyone with another idea? Would be great. Thanks!
Ok, I got it working again. Here are my steps, just in case anyone gets in the same situation:
1. Flash Stock recovery through fastboot, extracted from C432B182
2. Boot to Stock recovery with Vol Up + Power, it should start
3. Wipe cache and try to factory reset - won't work
4. Put C432B182 UPDATE.APP in dload folder on SD card
5. Tried Vol Up + Down force flash, but it did'nt work, so I wanted to get back into recovery by starting with VOL Up, and voila - it started flashing the B182 from SD card, BUT says failed at 99%
6. After that, boot into recovery again and see that factory reset now works
7. After factory reset restart phone and enjoy your unbricked P9 on C900B182. From here you can change to C432 with the known manuals to get the latest updates
