Pairing Google homes in stereo - Google Home

Has anyone managed to pair a Google home and Google home mini to output in stereo. I have the option to pair two minis but not one of each.

Toyota Avalon (or other Toyotas) and Built-In Bluetooth...how to stream audio?

So, I have a new Toyota Avalon with built-in bluetooth. Was wondering if anyone knew of hacks, tricks, tweaks - software or hardware - to permit a2dp to show up when connected through bluetooth. It says HANDSFREE but doesn't show WIRELESS STEREO on my ATT TILT (stock rom).
Anyway to do this?
Also, for anyone with a Toyota and bluetooth, is there any way to get Microsoft Voice Command activated from the steering wheel? On all my external car bluetooth speakers, hitting the call button activates Voice Command. Doesn't do it with the built-in Toyota system...unless I am overlooking something.
BUMP....
Is there someone on the forum with a Toyota and bluetooth?
I am bummed about this...the only way I can stream or play audio is use the AUX jack which is fine EXCEPT it means that the phone cannot be used via the built-in blue tooth...the other party can be heard by the car microphones don't pick up my voice (presumably because the AUX connector somehow hijacks it???!!)
Any help would be appreciated.

That's what would happen if the car's BT did not support A2DP. My guess would be that your car only supports handsfree.
I'm in the same boat. I have an '07 Sienna and I have been looking for a way to connect AD2P bluetooth. So far, I'm having no luck.
I've thought about mounting my i.tech clip inside the dash to the Aux input. That means I'd have to modify the i.tech to work when power is connected. I would also have figure out a way to use the Aux port directly (with another device) if I wish. It is always something...
The '09 Toyota's support the AD2P.
works for me
so, I am in a '10 toyota. When I get into the car, it will pair up as handsfree, but does not show AD2P initially. For me at least, if I go to the BT tab on the audio screen, and press and hold the play button, it will start playing from the last playlist I was using. The steering wheel seek up seek down work to skip forward and back.
The first time I needed to initiate some music playing on the phone, and then tell the car to connect bluetooth through the BT tab on the audio menu, I think it hides the AD2P unless the phone requests it, and treats it separately from the handsfree connection.
I wish you luck- for short trips, it is great to be able to just sit down in the car, and have the radio play my mp3s without having to muck with my phone or cables.

[Q] remote control

is there any remote control or an app that will allow me to change the music without first having to hit the power button to turn the screen on then press the next button while driving?

there are many many different bluetooth solutions in the market, that can do much more than just skipping songs remotely. Adapters, Radios etc. . if your car radio doesn't have bluetooth, there are several bluetooth remotes that connect through aux.

i have a gm9aux or whatever adapter on my cd player that has two rca inputs can you recommend one or a couple with controls for changing songs via bluetooth?
was looking at this adapter http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10827&cs_id=1082704&p_id=7364&seq=1&format=2
but like i said i need one with controls for changing songs as well
my car has steering wheel controls and there are tons of adapters for controlling iphones and ipods with it but none for the hd7 or windows phones
maybe Parrot MKi9100? - that one would enable you, to skip your songs, but also use voice comands, it also includes a handsfree set. Please search the web for more options on bluetooth adapters. Wait, in your case, mybe a new car radio fits your needs - one that connects to your steering wheel controls and has bluetooth to use with the windows phone - there would be the JVC KD-R721BT on the cheap.
Thank you 123fels321 that parrot kit will work perfectly i think for my application..
the only reason i do not replace the headunit in the car is because mine is a monsoon which is 1.5din and aftermarket stereos look like crap in the car while the stock unit looks perfectly fine and sounds decent enough after a speaker upgrade. so I am pretty much stuck with the monsoon.

[Q] Problem with bluetooth headset

I have bought a new bluetooth headset, and having problem with it. There is no audio in bsplayer and in vlc. The headset is paired, and no sound is played through the phone speaker. The song skip functions do work. What prevents me from throwing away the headset is the fact that when I play music in the native Music Player, the headset works.
The old headset works in all the programs.
Both sets are just generic (probably) Chinese made junk. I can't post links, but if you go to ebay and look for "Adjustable Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Headset Headphone Earphone + Mic+ FM Radio", you'll see it. The old one is seven years old and I have no idea what model it is.
The phone runs Android 2.3.7, CyanogenMod-7.2.0-olympus.
I did try to uninstall and reinstall bsplayer.
Any ideas?

Earbuds bluetooth connectivity

I have my bluetooth always on connected to my smartwatch , and I have earbuds which when connected to the phone are not recognized as media output immediately but instead I have to always check it in the configuration options in bluetooth menu . Also when I press the play button on the earbuds music player doesn't play automatically . Is there anyway to fix this ?
I have just ordered Jaybird X3, when it reachs me I will check here again
I have my 3T paired with multiple different Bluetooth devices: JBL earbuds/headset, as well as JBL Pulse 2 speaker, Kenwood car head unit (Subaru stock head unit), and Plantronics headset (the one ear kind - only paired for phone, not media). They all work flawlessly.
The problem might be with the headset, or the fact that there are just so many different Bluetooth accessories, and it's really hard for manufacturers (on both sides, the phone and the accessory makers) to ensure they are all 100% compatible.

Device that does the same thing as the Chromecast Audio

So at home I have a crazy awesome google home set up with multiple speaker systems, lighting, smart outlets, google minis, and google home speakers all tied into the awesome google home app. For (3) different speaker systems, I used the old chromecast audio to tie the receivers into my google home system and it worked great! Now that is discontinued for whatever reason, and I can't seem to find an equal to it (the chromecast audio that is). I want to tie in another speaker system with an old receiver I have. Does anyone know an alternative to the chromecast audio that will do the same thing that the chromecast audio did? Also, I read about tieing speakers with bluetooth capabilities into the google home system, but couldn't figure out how. Anyone done this yet?
Thanks!
I have a few Chromecast audio devices, and got a Google Home Mini and realise it is very similar. It offers an audio out port that I could plug in to my speaker, and I can stream to it as a Cast Audio device.
