Kids Home from Samsung to Xperia xz1 Compact? - Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact Questions & Answers

Hello guys,
I bought Sony Xperia XZ1 compact for my 6 year old son.
I realised that Samsung has very nice Kids mode application, but unfortunately its only for Samsung devices.
I've been searching across the interenet for any ported application, but i did not found any relevant information regarding this application.
My question is:
Is it even possible to port this application to Xperia xz1 comact device from Samsung device?
Recommend me what i can do and how can i have it on the phone?
Recommend me a dialer app which has only buttons with names (without showing any phone number, even while dialing).
Many thanks in advance.

[REQ or Q] Xperia small apps - browser

Good evening devs,
Ive been searching around and does not seem like there is such feature to enable this option. I would like to ask if it is possible to create an xposed module or even a normal apk to launch more than one xperia small apps - browser? The current software limits the user to open one browser. I know it seems useless for our 5 inch phones but it will definitely be handy to those who owns a xperia tablet or xperia z ultra.
many thanks
regards,
Litoni

[Q] Getting close to stock - new to Android

Hello,
I was previously a Windows Phone user and I'm having trouble understanding how to get the most out of my new Z3 Compact. I would like my experience to be as close to stock Android as possible.
So far I have replaced the Sony keyboard with the Google Keyboard which was a HUGE improvement. I experimented with replacing the Sony launcher with the Google Now launcher, but they were almost identical other than that the Sony launcher supports adding shortcuts, so I stuck with it.
What else am I missing out on that can easily be reverted back to a superior stock experience? Is there a guide that walks you through all this? So far I've had to figure everything out myself by reading forums and trying to figure out what all the lingo means, and I feel like I'm still missing out on things, e.g. the PIN unlock screen sucks (vibrate on keyup!). Has anyone laid out what is Sony vs. what is stock with instructions on how to fix it?
Thanks!

Xperia has one of the most similar firmware to Nexus devices \
there is just few customization in launcher
+ Xperia special apps like Xperia WALKMAN & ...
But people who like stock Android may confuse when using Galaxy device
cause Samsung customize its phones a lot...
:good:

Possible to migrate ALL data from XZ1 Compact to X Compact?

I would like to create an exact copy of my current XZ1 Compact setup, including homescreens with the webpage shortcuts I've added and everything else, on an Xperia X Compact that I also have as a backup. Is this possible using Sony software or perhaps a 3rd party application?
Thanks.

Xperia Transer mobile does all of that.
Use the software on your old device and back up to your Gdrive or SDcard. Log into your new device and let Play store finish installing all your apps, restart, then install Xperia Transfer mobile and restore missing apps and personal data. Although what it won't do is remember your app passwords.
There is an Oreo migration feature, if you set up Chrome on your new phone and set a sync passphrase, then every time you log into an app the password will be rememebred for you. Not much good for this migration, but helpfful for the next.

Xperia Action

hello guys,
i noticed that ''Xperia Action" feature was removed in xz3 and it's not available.. i looked it up in display and where it used to be in xz2 and the previous models.. in "Xperia assist" menu... but it looks like Sony got rid of it... it was very cool tnd useful feature that i use it all the time according to my personal settings... and I'm frustrated that Sony removed it... s
do you guys recommend any other alternative feature available in the xz3 that can turn on automatically according to the schedule? like putting do not disturb, dimming brightness with night mode, and turn off other features in one option!
any suggestions would be so much appreciated!
than you
It's very annoying as I used it on previous Xperia phones. Anybody else recommend an application that could replicate the same functionality?... Namely, having Bluetooth and WiFi come on at set times of the day.
Tasker, not very easy to use, but maybe more powerful
There's a replacement coming in Android Q. https://www.xda-developers.com/google-pixel-android-q-settings-routines/
