Hi
I'm not able to unlock bootloader of 5 pro.
Whenever it goes to bootloader page and i type the code "fastboot flashing unlock" it just says something in chinese "something something 6-10 something" and then reboots back again.
Is there any solution for this

Make sure you are using usb 2.0 port not usb 3.0
If you don't have usb 2 ports then use usb hub.
Also make sure that usb de bugging, OEM unlocking is enabled in Dev setting and you have successfully applied in deepest apk.

there are reports that rm5p roms can also be flashed on rm3p.. is anyone using it on rm3p ?

Thank you. Did unlock the bootloader and flashed this ROM onto it. One error I found which is fingerprint unlock doesn't work on the lockscreen. It worked for 2 times then it refused to work. Other than the ROM is pretty smooth
& yes, should I submit logs here if you need them?

Fp is kind of hit or miss on some ROMs. Do check it before flashing.
Devs are trying to fix it.

Here is a quick review of the ROM.
Using it from yesterday. A big improvement over other pie roms. Tons of customisation of all sorts. Everything about this ROM is fantastic. Updated frequently even before an official thread. I missed only feature of dt2w which can be activated through magisk. Overall great work from Havoc OS team.
Thanks sir
used for like 12 hours, average battery backup with standby drain
UX is very smooth comparing to any Oreo/Nougat rom
got random freeze on some apps like messenger, facebook (after 1-2 min, app worked normally, no reboot needed)
so, back to Oreo for a while
hope android 9 builds will get better over time, just like all other previous builds did.
Does this ROM has changing font function cause I love the HYcoffee font in Havoc 8.1.0.
Hey guys, I have an RN3 (kate) , when I try to install the Havoc Pie Rom I can not get past the configuration screen, it stays on looking for update and it does not get out of it. Anyone knows how to resolve this?
Bugs:
1.) OngoingPlay store downloads are not shown in the notification bar
2.) Clear all recents button customization options dont work
Are you installing with a SD into the Kenzo (I'm not saying FROM SD). Try installing without SD and tell us.

I will try with this version. Just two more questions, what Gapps did you use? and In which order did you flash the files?

I always use pico.
My step - wipe all - flash rom, gapps, magisk, reboot & enjoy
Latest having issue, when switch to another user. Previous builds don't have the same. When switch to another user, after some time nav bar changed from pill to old style. Need reboot to restore to pill.
Can anyone tell me how to enable call recording or where the settings.
I have flashthe rom since yesterday, everything is fine but the function double tape wake and pocket protection is missing. Hopes add it back soon.
Encryption supported ?

What are the changes to 20181211?
Also the downlink above are outdated / for the old version
For riva? And does it lag like the previous havoc os releases?
I don't know why you made a new thread for Havoc, since the version you post in the link is similar to the other thread, and the features hence remain the same. No noticeable difference.
Literally every problem that users post in the other thread still persist (probably because wrong link posted by OP, so I actually installed the same one with the other thread).
Also, the build device ID is still wrong like previous version. In some part, written as "riva", while some written "rolex".
- clean flashed, installed with latest firmware

Finally Freezing problem is gone!
VoLTE doesn't work sometimes, needs reboot.
WiFi is slow sometimes.
Ram management could be a little better.
Night light feature isn't working same for Color inversion.
Sometimes when dismissing a notification, the 'keep showing notification' opens.
That's all recorded til now.

Yup I also faced volte problem
And WiFi speed only limits to 49-50 kbps
And also calls does not show up sometimes need to reboot to make it work
The above quote is from another havoc thread by aryan

What about Riva?
Thing which are not so perfect.
1_ Nightlight(yellow tint).
2_Grayscale(digital wellbeing (wind up)).
3_Charge cycle(doesn't show anything).
4_Battery life (5 hrs max expected another 30 mins or so because my phone is almost 2 years old.)
5_Google feed(left most page on the launcher) is laggy.
6_FM doesn't work.
7_Update section is broken ("cannot check for updates not connected to the internet").
8_Google sound app.
Rest all is very good, don't want to pin point.
I need some help with GCmod how can I increase noise reduction when using front camera. If I cannot do that then how to lesser the grains.
By the way keep up the goodwork and I think it's the best pie ROM I have ever tried on my rolex.
Anyone facing issue like random freezing? My device is getting freezed frequently. I need to force restart my device in this situation.
Except above issue (May be with mine only), everything is perfect.:good:

No, works perfectly fine.
Magisk
Magisk won't install on my phone after flashing this custom ROM, I don't know what the problem is.
Whenever I flash Magisk, it will always successfully flash. After rebooting into the system and checking if it installed, it isn't. What could be the problem? Thanks.

Thanks for the tips, im using the latest version n its working.
My VoLTE isn't working. Any suggestions?
The speaker and microphone stopped working after the update.
Is 200mhz cpu speed added in the kernel?
Do you have any plans on adding a native call recorder?

TWRP for zenlte
For some reason, TeamWin's build servers couldn't build version 3.4.0-0 for zenlte from the marshmallow branch of the official source tree (the most recent one), so I ran my own build:
twrp-3.4.0-0-zenlte.img
twrp-3.4.0-0-zenlte.tar
zenltetmo has an official 3.4.0-0 build.
I've been following thread since on note5 pages. Im glad that u finally make it on here
Tried to install here, and current message is Updater process ended with ERROR: 7 Error installing zip file. SMG928G
Just needed to erase first lines of the updaterscript to get install on TWRP.
Wi-fi not working. calls stays on speaker only.

Hi,
Wanted to join you at Telegram, but get the message the invite has expired or I get "This chat does not exist".
Gr, J
Hello I really like the ROM you are building
I'm new to custom roms, is this compatible with my S6 Edge+ AT&T (SM-G928A)? I searched online and it says it's a GSM model sl I'm confused if my phone is compatible. Thanks!
success on G928F
@ripee, thank you very much!
@ripee, a typo? "Flash Gapps [ARM64/9.0/PICO](Optional)". Should it not be 10.0?
Just rooted my G928F, using these instructions: http://www.samsungsfour.com/tutoria...nougat-7-0-using-cf-auto-root-all-models.html
As I'm using Linux, I used the odin4 cli from: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/odin4-v1-0-linux-t3782930
./odin4 -a CF-Auto-Root-zenlte-zenltexx-smg928f.tar.md5
@ripee, thanks again for the TWRP build earlier in the thread, I needed that.
./adb push twrp-3.3.1-0-zenlte.img /sdcard/
Used TWRP app to flash the zip
Used open gapps from https://opengapps.org/
./adb push lineage-17.1-20200315-UNOFFICIAL-zenlte.zip /sdcard/
./adb push .open_gapps-arm64-10.0-pico-20200322.zip /sdcard/
Used TWRP to flash above
All is running fine till now, not found any major issue till now.
is there any fix for in call audio i have none using g928t

Notes
No outgoing calls?
If you can send/receive messages, can receive calls, but cant make them, download the two files from -Here and replace them in system/priv-app. You will need root for this
GSIs
This Havoc build ships with Project Treble compatibility , meaning you can flash a GSI as System Image from TWRP. Please don't report GSI bugs here, report them instead to the GSI's maker. A Format Data from TWRP is required after flashing a GSI in order to avoid problems.
Technical details on our Treble implementation:
This device is a community-treble device, meaning other devs before us made it compatible with Project Treble, using the oem partion as a vendor. GSIs still have some problems regarding cpu frequency scaling and camera. You have been warned.
Wanna help?
If you find a problem or a bug, please share a logcat with us, alongside an explanation of the problem and steps to reproduce. We won't accept bug reporting without a logcat. Collect logcat with:
Code:
adb logcat -b all > logcat.txt

Many thanks to @EmaMaker for the pair-working we are doing in this adventure, to @davidsonsjesus for his work on KVT, to @jeferson1979 for his help and teaching. Thanks to all the testers that have helped us testing this ROM.

I was customising everything and, at one point, when I turned on the night light, my screen went off and now it goes off whenever the system fully boots

It is possible night light is broken. I'll investigate further

I've been trying further. Night light wasn't the thing that made my screen stop working, it was setting the brightness to minimum.
If I set the brightness to minimum, the screen always goes off.

Huh, that's weird. Might have to adjust the minimum brightness
Hello,
I'm actually trying this image, and I think it's pretty good
But, I cannot find anyway to update Havoc in the future (no update rom found)
Is it impossible to update in the future without reflashing it everytime ?
Thanks for your help !
(PS : No GAPPS installed, I don't want google apps anymore on my phone...)

As we are not official Havoc (notice the Unnoficial tag) we cannot use the OTA system that Havoc has in place, so the only option is reflashing everytime

Thanks for your help Marcost22
Can you tell me if everytime you need to reflash you need to reinstall all apps and settings ? Or if is it possible to reflash over old version ?
Many Thanks !

Some times you may be able to dirty flash. But as we are in the middle of the entire bringup and some big changes are happening left and right, dirty flash may sometimes leave you with something unusable
Hello again,
Finaly I've choosen to stay on Havoc, the best rom in my opinion
But i've got a problem, not critical but annoying...
In settings, sound & ringtone, it's actually impossible for me to change ringtone, notifications or others. Since I push to change, all the settings app crashes. All the others fonctions is OK.
Do you want a kind of report or something else if it can help you ?
Or maybe you have a solution to resolve this little bug ?
Many thanks !
And keep up the good work

HUH, that's the last thing i thought could break. If you can grab a logcat of it crashing that would be fantastic

The same issue here Not possible to change call signal... After several attempts - "settings application" stopped working. Havoc flashed directly on new stock 8.0.
.
.
.
And... nope! Last version (20201207) didn't change a thing - still setting app crashes... This rom is SO close to perfection. This above setting app issue, and lack of fingerprint pad configuration - if someone would like to use it for example to sleep/wake the phone.
One way or another - the rom is great, congratulations, I was nearly crying when I had to go back to my previous fully functional daily driver...
Has anyone discovered any solution or workaround for this issue?
All the best for everyone in this New Year!
