Non-eu is a little vague. Is that China, India, and the US? From that POV it's hard to know if it's serious or a joke, either could be true.

These files are HUGE! Well in 100 years I'm sure they will fit in your standard paint on nails, but as of this writing these are not files that should just be linked too with no warning.

Perhaps it would help to further qualify what's special about the EU version. My version of the device does not indicate NON-EU, obviously, it's not part of ZTE's designation AFAIK. Stating the same thing another way still carries the idea that the Chinese version and the US version are to be grouped together. I'm not suggesting they shouldn't be, I do believe that is the case... It's just saying NON-EU to someone not in the EU is confusing, because the idea of an EU version is brand new and needs explaining to some minimal extent.

You specifically don't have to. Same problem, if it's not obvious what versions there are then it's not obvious what region applies to a location.

That's unlikely to be legit. Access to these units is tightly controlled, and resale is forbidden (they actually have "NOT FOR SALE" stamped on the inside)
edit: Nevermind, it's legit. See the third picture? That button is different from yours. That was the menu button in one of the earlier revisions of the phone, so this is likely to be an early unit. It will probably be unlocked, but keep in mind the hardware isn't exactly the same as the retail release (this one will have camera issues, for example, and no gorilla glass).
In any case, ask for the output of "cat /sys/firmware/fuse/secure_boot_key"; If you do get a reply, paste it here (retail units return nothing on that, unlocked units do. But I won't tell you what, since there's the possibility that seller is reading this)
My phone is a developer version. It doesn't accept kdz updates. My phone is bricked and only power up in Upgrade mode.

Our colleague gave us a hope here. He says he has succeeded, so why will not I? Does he even have a model "developer"?
I'm not doubting it, but I notice that I am the one who is harmed by this procedure. In the tutorials teach to do the KDZ flash by in no time is cautioned that does not work on models "developer". I find this very strange. I ask all of you to help put an end to this issue.
And can you give me a kick in the butt if I'm mad at this point of forgetting simple things hahaha

COR-TL10 - I want to install a global ROM, is it possible??

As stated in the title, I'm helping someone (trying to anyways) with their Chinese variant of the honor play, and am having a lot of trouble finding any information or success stories for getting a global ROM on the Chinese variant. I confirmed that this phone has an unlocked bootloader. I saw one post saying that it's simply not possible because of a different modem in the TL10, please someone help me out. This Chinese ROM is problematic. Otherwise great device!
Thanks
Probably not as while debranding it may end up with locked frp. Had this been other variant, I just posted a debranding method in development section

Well whatever wouldn't be the Chinese version, everytime I reset it it reinstalled all of the bloatware, and it won't even let me change the launchers. So I guess whichever is the most stable global version. I've found information but I found myself confused by must of it. I know how to use ADB and root and install TWRP.

Question So how bad did I mess up? Global SKFZAVC

Soo... apparently my native firmware wasn't loaded anywhere online, so I got great advice to back it up before doing anything, did that.... saved it happily on my PC and played around with a few Roms. Wanted to do a clean install and guess what? ZIP file corrupted. Any ideas to get it back? guess I have no choice but to flash Global SKFMIXM? A link to doing that would be appreciated also. Thank you for your time

No need to apologize at all! In fact i was going to put it online as the original person who gave me advice on Telegram said that it was a "rare" Rom. Like maybe it could help a dev or something. What would be the most efficient way to post a link? I'm not very tech savvy and I'd probably end up posting the link to my beach holiday pictures?
Also I'd like the link to be accessible to anyone who would need it, I saw one mention only of a desperate person who could've used it

I got it by going to about phone, clicking on the 13 picture of the left, then it started downloading, then I clicked install and started panicking because they told me to save it, but after it installed, I did it again and this time I just saved it the phone, then connected phone to PC and copy pasted it in a folder. Extracting? Why? It's a recovery rom. It's only used for flashing on custom recovery. But I guess if it shows error during extraction then I guess it will also fail during flashing. No clue unless it's flashed tbh. Did you try on other programs to extract the zip? Also is the zip file 3.x gb something? I heard about sometimes recovery rom downloaded from updater app would sometimes come with less than 3gb (at least for sweet) and it's like a corrupted zip. Or maybe the download did not finish. It's really weird that once the recovery rom gets downloaded, a full 3.xgb zip is already available on the downloads folder even though it's still downloading.

Perhaps I brutalized the English language, what I meant is that I did downloaded it fully, wait time was about 15/20 minutes I suppose. I tried standard 7zip and winrar but gave an error. The file size as a zip is 3.3gb . I'm quite sure it did fully download though. When I extract Project Elixyr.zip file, it immediately starts with winrar. Isn't it good to have a fresh clean install of your firmware every now and then when changing ROMs often? Plus what if there was something in there that could help someone, I know there was another South African looking for it a few months ago and he was so desperate. But i suppose I just use basic Global when I Feel its time for a clean freshy

Since SKFZAVC is a weird and restricted version of MIUI, there's no way for anyone to know whether MIUI 14 will arrive on it or not. If you want, you can unlock the bootloader and manually flash the Global version with the latest MIUI 14.0.1.0. Although, I'm not certain whether using the global version is ok for your region/provider as ZAVC is restricted and locked and maybe changing region will prevent you from using the sim or other carrier stuff. I really don't know because this is such a rare region and only those who own it can tell their experience on it.
If you want, and possibly have other people explore that region rom a bit more, try uploading the recovery zip of SKFZAVC in drive or other clouds and have others use and test it. There's no ZAVC rom in circulation or achieved anywhere so none was able to test it.

Question Mate 50 Pro (EU version) and Harmony OS

Hi, anyone managed to install Harmony 3 on their Mate 50 Pro? I have the orange one (DCO-LX9), and would like to give a try to the Harmony OS 3.
Any working methods? The method with changing region in "MY HUAWEI" app is not giving results even with Chinese account, it is just not giving the option to update to Harmony, it checks for update and says "your phone is up to date"..
If someone knows a working method, will be very helpful to lots of people, i am sure.
I am also looking for a solution to this. However, I couldn't find it. Looks like it won't come to Europe if we wait. I wish there was a solution.
