Download the package and save it to your phone (not SD card, anywhere does not matter)
Go to Settings > About phone > System update then tap on the MIUI logo 7 times. Tap the menu button, select Choose update package, then select the package you downloaded.
Let it do its thing, restart your device when prompted to.
The phone will take some time to update and boot, keep it plugged into a power source while doing so.

Does the rom suffer from a problem of autonomy like some other devices passed under MIUI 11 ?

Works perfect on my Note 8. Nothing to complain about.
Thank you

So far only Android 9 .
Has anyone rooted it back. Does root normally works as in MIUI 10?

Anyone else suffering battery drain on MIUI 11?

Check Settings>Apps>Permissions>Autostart and disable unneeded apps if they are enabled. Also, try restarting and letting the phone sit idle for some time to allow the ROM to 'stabilise'.

can u pls tell what is the difference between global and India versions

Version number seems the same (11.0.3.0) so I'd guess it's the same. No harm installing it though.
Edit: Just realised the 1b9baa227b part is the same as OP and that was the version I installed manually. So perhaps it will fix your battery issues.

Did you flashed it in Redmi 8?
It reboots properly and I am using it. No problem found so far. I rebooted to fastboot and miui recovery to check if they are still ok or not. They are ok and fine.
But I am concern that if it is fully ok or not. I mean if something is invisibly broken or not. I found other posts in xda with similar error and that says OK. Those posts were related to Redmi k20. I still posted again whether is it ok for redmi 8 olive or not.
And another bugs me that i flashed miui global fastboot rom before in my same redmi 8(olive) but I can't remember whether that error showed or not.
Thank You.

Actually, there is no error there. In the options below, it gave an error message saying that it did not lock the device because you did not click "clean all and lock". Your device's bootloader lock is still open. It states that there.
I just got this error too, I was downgrading from 11.0.1.0 (Android 10) to 11.0.7.0 (Android 9) on an European Redmi 8 4/64 olive_eea.
Don't worry, the phone booted up fine, it is a first boot after flashing a fastboot rom so it took a few minutes.
have the same error. what's the solution? i want to flash stock miui 12 from pixel experience plus.

The solution for me was to ignore the error, the phone booted up fine after that, does it not boot after flash up for you?
Keep in mind that a first boot after flash can take up to 5-15 minutes.

Question Xiaomi PC Desktop Mode (Dex for Xiaomi) MIUI +

Anyone see this?
Apparently a magisk module is available which can turn your Mi11 into a mini desktop PC like Samsung Dex.
Anyone got any more info?
Found the module for those that want to have a play around.
Apparently you may need to adjust your DPI to suit or you may get app crashes.
Enjoy and post your findings!
it didn't work for me. 12.5.1 tw rom
I installed pcmode from apkmirror. be warned, if you do it on the phone like I did, horizontal display height is too low, and you cannot press button to exit pcmode, because it is not visible on the screen. rebooting does not help, pcmode starts automatically. I got out of it by using appmanager app (any other similar app might work) to disable pcmode apk.
Dpi mode adjustment may help. Can you advise the steps you went through to get it working and which rom you are on?
How this works? Need only a external monitor or a notebook?

Think with Tasker u can change automatically DPI when u launch the app and restore dpi when u quit it
But for me i never be able to use it because it was installed on my mi 11 12.5.15 (xiaomi.eu rom) but i can't find where to activate it
I tried installing it via Magisk on MiUi 13 beta (Mi 10T) but had no result.

Hi I think you need to update the attachment as it was working fine on Xiaomi.EU 12.5 on Xiaomi 11T Pro but with the Xiaomi.EU MIUI 13 it is not working anymore can you at least send me the original form of the file or send an update version of the module?
Thank You
I'm using a mi pad 5 but hope for the relevance of my experience. The mi pad 5 global doesn't have a PC mode integrated out from the box, but all I did is to download the PC mode by Xiaomi from apk mirror, install it, then opened it without issue.
Regarding extending the display, unfortunately, the mi pad 5 doesn't output display by wire, so I cannot test it. Again, I'm using mi pad 5.
EDIT: Works on both miui 12.5 and 13

Question [SOLVED] Having Trouble Updating to MIUI 12.5

Hi, I recently got myself the Redmi Note 10 Pro and it came with a stock ROM of MIUI 12.0.2 Stable (RKFZAVC).
I live in South Africa, hence the "ZA" in "RKFZAVC".
I of course went to the settings and tried updating to the latest stable version of the ROM as I have been seeing videos online about MIUI 12.5. I had no luck there... It tells me that there aren't any Updates available.
So my second idea was to download the ROM myself and load it onto the phone and use the "Choose update package" option from the update screen. I had no luck with this either; Firstly I cannot find the RKFZAVC version of the ROM anywhere online. And secondly downloading a global ROM or an EU ROM, does not work, as the phone does not see them as "official".
I did some more research and then found the Mi PC Suite Tool (http://pcsuite.mi.com/). I booted into recovery, signed into the software, and tried doing an update through "Update>R. Flash". This method actually found an updated RKFZAVC ROM and started downloading it.
Now my problem is, as soon as the download reaches 50%, my phone restarts into the "System" and because of that the update fails, with the software prompting me with the message: "Couldn't Update. Sign in to your Mi Account".
I tried this once or twice again, and the same thing happens.
PS: The bootloader is still locked. But I have linked the Phone to my Mi Account, following the steps laid out in the settings page under developer options.
So I guess my question(s) is are:
Does anyone know what could be causing the 50% issue? Could it be because of the bootloader not being unlocked?
Does anyone know where I would be able to download my South African ROM(RKFZAVC) to maybe try "Choose update package" again?
Any help/point in a direction would be much appreciated . If push comes to shove, I'll just wait my 7 days, and flash something custom.
Thanks in advance.
I have found a solution. I realised that the MiPCSuite after the initial download to 50% always started from 50% again. So I had to assume the files were downloaded somewhere... In the MiPCSuite settings, you can set your download directories, but there is one that is not displayed there, but the folder is on the same level as the two directories...
It should look something like this: "D:\Xiaomi\MiPhoneManager\OTA"
Where "D:" can be exchanged with whatever your drive letters are set to.
I copied that file over to my phone, did the "Choose update package", and now I have MIUI 12.5.
Hi, I am also from South Africa. I actually just changed the region in settings to India, checked for update, and my phone was updated to MIUI 12.5.2 (Redmi note 10 pro). To what MIUI version was your phone updated to through the Mi software?

It updated to MIUI 12.5.2 as well, but of course, the South African version, which I quickly realised is restricted to some nice features.
I found a thread describing the region changing, and I did that Wish I'd have known sooner...

I noticed the restriction to some of the features shown in YouTube videos as well, so it updated to the same version as yours. I was hoping for 12.5.8 which is latest global version, but no luck.

I am curious if anyone is currently interested in releasing a pixel experience Rom for Xiaomi 11T Pro as it is too similar to the Redmi K40 Pro/+ and that also has its own official pixel experience rom. So I guess it won't be hard.

Yeah it's kinda pointless making twrp based on Android 11 source when a12 is alr around the corner tbh, let's hope when Android 12 drop, we can get proper twrp support.
Using the GSI rom in the moment, wish it have more support through this way we get proper roms without some bugs.
We could use other recovery like the AOSPA recovery to install the ZIP file instead of using TWRP.

Hello yes original cable and original charger .
Alright guys so the situation is i have an note 10s i think might be a base 10 at the same time too. It doesn't have original IMEI at all, some stupid dude changed the IMEI in both sim slots, but i went to a close friend of mine to solve this not updating issue because whenever I try updating it would crash and ending up losing all data in it. But after my friend updated the phone and fixed the IMEI situation the next update worked okay. The question is i have literally no idea would it be okay to update to MIUI 13 without getting crashes (before I gave my phone to my close friend, it would do the update as intended and the phone would open for 2 sec then crash and return back to recovery mode with an error code) .
Note: after the change the dude had, tried updating to 12.5.5.0 and it was all okay and good nothing happened and it run butter smooth.
I can't ask him because when I asked him he was like okay I fixed your phone and updated into the last firmware but you really should not try doing updates whatsoever. I miss pressed the update is ready do notification and it did the update really as a regular phone should do.
Sorry for English I'm not a native speaker at all and sorry for typing under another phone's discussion but it's literally the first time I typed something to forums
Thanks in advance.
