First off this guide is not for the faint of heart and I'm not responsible for any bricked or broken devices.
So in the recent days Telia has decided to switch on VoLTE and VoWiFi on the server side for OnePlus devices. Right now there isn't an official way to get it. Follow my instructions precisely and you should get it. Confirmed works on OnePlus 7T Pro but should also work on other Android 10 OnePlus devices.
First off - turn on VoLTE on the carrier side:
1. https://iseteenindus.telia.ee/era/teenused/mobiil
2. Click "haldan lisateenuseid" under your number
3. Find an option called "VoLTE (Voice over LTE ehk 4G kõned)" and turn it on - it will take some 10 minutes maybe
If that's done and cooking, let's switch on VoLTE on your devices side:
4. Download and install EngineerMode apk on your device (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1E_pxMNtm92l-JobE9gTSFFgeVjsoMCXV/view)
5. Dial *#800# and select EngineerMode
6. OnePlus LogKit
7. Function Switch
8. Turn on VoLTE switch, VoWiFi switch and VT switch
9. Reboot
10. Go to Telia sim settings and turn on VoLTE and VoWiFi
11. Should work now, you should see an icon in status bar like this
Known bugs:
Mobiil-ID is not working when you're connected via VoLTE or VoWiFi - turn these off to use Mobiil-ID and after using it you can turn back on
Thanks for looking at this guide, post your results below. For official VoLTE support, be sure to support my petition on change.org!

VoLTE calling support: ROMSs, and how to enable

Hola!
Many carriers are enabling VoLTE calling nowdays, which is a great advantage. Calls will be made practically without a delay, and finally a phone could be used in 4G-only mode, saving lots of battery. (more: VoLTE Improves Wireless Voice Quality with HD Voice)

For example, Vodafone and Movistar are enabling it in Spain starting october 2014.
S3 LTE was the first phone to have the hardware to make VoLTE calls, although for some devices an update was necessary. I've only found some pages stating the update was released, but not more details.
there was a related question on Cyanogen regarding the update but the thread left unanswered since May.
I've noticed that newer devices like S5 have "Enable VoLTE and HD calling" in network settings.
however my S3 LTE running rXtreme ROM doesn't seem to have it, and probably an update is necessary.
could anyone comment on that?
because VoLTE is basically VoIP like SIP, i don't think an update consists from anything more than a new dialer, extra settings + a service to receive calls.
so have 2 questions:
1) how to enable VoLTE on i9305 custom roms?
2) is a list of VoLTE-enabled ROMs necessary?
thank you.
anyone?
IIRC it's a CSC feature. Google for "csc ims volte".

Well, i've found this interesting thread: T-Mobile IMS/VoLTE Settings
it mentions:
1) Volteconfiguationmenu.apk
2) com.sec.android.voltesettings
googling (1) gives no results, but (2) lead me to a I9300 thread. Apparently there is already a firmware with a VoLTE configuration menu:
[4.4.4][BETA][Stock I9300 LTE PORTING][GT-I9300] (non-xda source)
it clearly mentions: VolteConfigurationMenu 1.0 (com.sec.android.voltesettings)
so how can we add it to our I9305 roms??
there are some respective updates i've found (for Note 3)
Seem that only korean variant have that configuration menu
voLTE
Does all phones which have lte support voLTE??????????

I believe VoLTE is a carrier specific feature, it means voice on LTE, so basically YES, any LTE phone can have it as long as the Carrier Company support it.

Verizon VoLTE (Verizon Nexus)

Soo I'm stuck I came from a note 3 and never had a problem. I have enhanced LTE checked. I flashed the Verizon radio, and ive tested on euphoria/benzo/etc no luck. I need data when IN a call what can I do?5m I can flashback to stock and call Verizon help I will pay someone money to get a successful resolution.
Did you activate it on the Verizon site? I did that right after I got my sim in yesterday and when I went into the enhanced menu to turn it on it was already on.
"In order to enable the setting on your phone, head into the dialer and type in *#*#4636#*#*. When you hit that last *, your phone will jump into the hidden settings menu. Choose “Phone info” and then scroll down until you see an option for “TURN ON VOLTE PROVISIONED FLAG.” Tap that and then reboot your phone (I had to reboot twice for some reason to get it to work). Once booted, head into your phone’s regular settings menu, tap on “More” under “Wireless & networks,” then “Cellular networks.” You should now see an option for “Enhanced 4G LTE Mode” and it should be toggled on."
Enhanced LTE is already under cellular network and when I dial *#*#4636#*#* i see the option remove volte provisioning flag tap it and nothing happened

If it says Remove, its enabled so it should be working. That doesn't make sense unless you're not on LTE when you're trying to use it?
Anyone got Stock Verizon rom
Mine says LTE when I make a call the lte vanishef
You turned it on via your account right?

I cannot set Messages as default.
Also, there is a notification: "This app won't work properly unless you Allow "Google Play services" request to access the following:
* Phone
To continue, open Settings, then Permissions, and allow all listed items."
Then have not Permissions to allow.
Yes i got it working mi9tpro ( i have global version with google dialer by default ) .
Pocof1 and Xiaomi A1.
Strange thing is that my crap carrier has a message+ app and didn't work with that lol.
I hope Google enables it by default from now on and improves on it.

Force 3G only / 4G only possible?

Hello,
in my office, the network signal isn't the best. I have 1 bar at 4G, 2 bar at 3G and 3 bar at 2G. So the phone choose 2G all the time, but 3G is possible and fast. On my old Huawei, i had the network mode "3G only", but the realme has only "3G/2G auto", so it's still choosing 2G.
Is there any Possibility to force 3G or 4G?
I already read of the Settings Database Editor and installed it, but didn't find a proper settings item.
Also i tried to get in the engineering mode by dialing *#36446337# but it didn't work.
Thank you for your support.
Hello use this code on dialer *#2323#
Sorry, doesn't work. Nothing happens.
on the Chinese version of the phone appears the choice of network type
With the app "Force 4G LTE" i come into the screen "about the phone", where i can change the network type to "LTE/WCDMA only".. but it's full of ads...
i dont see any options to choose from as well (like 3G or 4G connection) default is just showing 4G

Force 3G only/4G only on realme device
I am using realme 5s and I have the same problem but finally I found a solution. You can download an app named "4G LTE SWITCHER(No ads)" from playstore and as the name suggests it has really no ads and it works for me!

Question C.46 update and 5g disappeared from preferred network type

Good afternoon XDA!!! I was getting 5g no problem and I received the notification for the C.46 update today. After updating 5g isn't even listed in the "Preferred network type" anymore. I'm on T-Mobile in the states model CPH2173, anyone else have this happen after the update?
Thanks!!!

Have you tried to disable "Smart 5G" option in advanced network settings?

If I go under "advanced settings" under mobile network all that shows up now is the "use mobile data during calls" option which isn't even able to turn on. No Smart 5g option
Try to reset your phone if same issue you need Full flash,

Did that and same thing, only gives max 4g/3g/2g option and no "Smart 5g" option anywhere.
So I'm wondering if T-Mobile is restricting phones from using 5g now like AT&T is
If you already flashed with ( CPH2173export_11_C.46_2022021122370096.zip ) Then should be fine,
& Yes its could happens, Such 12Pro does not show 5G due to unsupported 5G (SIM)

That's what I'm thinking is going on because it showed 5g on the .45 firmware and now it's gone so I'm guessing it is just stupid US Carrier restrictions for 5g .
Enter this code *#54794824#
Then enable 5G
How are you for finding those ussd codes? Any new ones?
Here's the one actually working on my 3X Pro:
*#6776# Info
*#899# Engineering mode
*#800# Logs
*#888# Hardware Revision
*#54794824# Toggle 5G on/off
