Privacy oriented operating system for all! - Sony XA2 Ultra Guides, News, & Discussion

Eelo OS or better know as "/e/" is a privacy-oriented operating system with its own ecosystem which gives power to the user who is in complete control of their phone. Thanks to this dev who built these unofficial builds remain unknown links below. this build is based on nougat, but on their official builds they have moved to pie, however, when this was made they were still on nougat at the time. I would like to see /e/ take off because it would be a privacy-oriented OS available to the masses of people who don't know how to flash lineage for example. If you have technical questions they have a telegram and a forum and are quick to respond I will provide those links as well. If you have any questions or concerns I would try the links. I hate to sound useless, but chances are when it comes to software development you probably know more than I do so I can do my best to direct you to links I find to help but I would contact them through telegram and such.
Note: this is an unofficial build so I'm am not responsible for bugs or if somehow these bricks your phone personally have flashed and have had not extreme issues. I am posting this because I wish I knew how to fix mobile operating systems, but I do not plenty of thanks for your help and support.:good:

[ROM][HYDROGEN][7.1.2] Team OctOs Oct-N
ABOUT OCT OSTeam OctOs was formed on a few core beliefs. The ROM had to be something we’d run, reliable, and customization by the user to the level of their desire.
Please see our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), Supported Devices, the License under which we live by, our ChangeLog, and the Team OctOS team.
Disclaimer: OctOs is considered a “Work in Progress” project. While we make every attempt to provide stable and reliable custom Android operating systems, we can not guarantee that everything will work as expected.
The development team is not responsible for any damage to your device or information
Team OctOs presents ROMs that meet three critical conditions:
It’s a ROM we want to run
Stable and Reliable
AOSP feel and User-Customization together in harmony
Releases appear when we are satisfied in their stability, and not before hand. We live by the credo that Stability trumps ‘Bleeding Edge’ and not ‘New is everything’.

Unofficial AospExtended v4.6 for Huawei Y6

Hi.
This is AospExtended for Huawei Y6.
Built by @Runner85sx, Patched by Me.
Im maintaining this Rom.
AOSP Extended is an AOSP based rom which provides stock UI/UX with various customisations features along with the Substratum theme engine. The project has been made by cherry-picking various commits from various other projects. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth and lag-free experience out of the box. We will constantly try to add more features and make it even better in future updates. A ROM by a user, for a user. #StayAOSP #ExtendYourDevice #BeExtended
The following devices should work:
SCL-L01
Test and see.
What does not work:
Calls seems to have some issues.
And battery drain seems to be petty quick.
What works:
Almost everything should work.
Download: https://mega.nz/#!WNoX0Q5Q!CD1084EIlcRzR7cbvbBy-Qe8Df8hMsBbxbO2oQRETaI
Old build: https://mega.nz/#!PdZVjQyR!1a8ZjMuqFEeUCJlA0TJyKWeYv3BmH8lpKDw6QBsnQfU (The new one seems to have some scrolling issues)
Flash the Rom from TWRP.
Press the Thanks button if you like my work

[9.0] GZOSP OFFICIAL for ZUK Z1 [Galaxy Kernel]

What it is
- GZOSP is our 8.1 base we use for other projects, e.g. Validus
Not much features will be added, only basics and aosp patches will be merged.
It's open source and buildable for anyone, builds from it already started popping up, so we decided to allow it
and to avoid the constant pm's with build questions we decided to create this thread, so maybe people will
help each other some.
Isn't that a novel idea
What is this thread
- The place for: questions about GZOSP, GZOSP builds, GZOSP unofficial builds, GZOSP build questions,
GZOSP issue reports, GZOSP requests, GZOSP anything...
We will not be creating device threads for GZOSP ourselves since it is our base for Validus, for now.
-(Maintainers and unofficial builders are allowed to do whatever they want with GZOSP builds however).-
But since some people like that pure aosp feeling, we will post builds when things get added/updated in here now.
No plans for Tesla & Tipsy yet, but since those were born out of boredom at the end of a Validus Android cycle
anything can happen when we get bored again
- If reporting issues state what device since this is in Beta development
What's working :
Boots
RIL (Calls, SMS, Data)
Fingerprint
Wi-Fi
Bluetooth
Camera
Camcorder
Video Playback
Audio
Sensors
Flash
LED
GPS
Selinux : Permissive
Known issues:
You tell me
Instructions :
Download the latest build and GApps
Reboot to recovery
Flash the latest build and GApps
Reboot
Note: You must have at least nougat firmware (ZUI) to load sensors and other stuff properly
Download :

[ROM/TOOL][10.x] RattlesnakeOS [Pixel 3 XL]

This is a bit different than most postings here, as I'm not directly providing any binaries to install on your phone and instead providing a simple tool, rattlesnakeos-stack, to build your own customized ROM based with latest AOSP on a regular basis, with your own signing keys, and your own OTA updates. This probably will be interesting to a small subset of users as it requires some technical knowledge and costs money to run this infrastructure in AWS to produce your own builds.
You can read more about the project here: https://github.com/dan-v/rattlesnakeos-stack
I'm generally more active on the subreddit if you have any questions: https://www.reddit.com/r/RattlesnakeOS/

Hello!
I wanted to report success on build 10.0.0-beta3. It works great, and as a bonus, if you do your build on a weekend - my spot instance pricing was around $0.15 - I think my build cost was under $0.75 total.
Thanks for the awesome tool, and helping to bring AOSP to the masses early!
