[Q] Flashing CWM Recovery - can't see my phone model

Hello all! Hopefully, I put this thread in correct section. If not, please move it.
Anyway, here is my question.
I installed ROM Manager because I want to try some other ROMs on my SGS i9000 and when I want to flash the CWM Recovery, the only option I get is Google Nexus S. Is this normal? Should it show my model? Can there be any problems if I choose Google Nexus S option?

What ROM are you currently on ? if its a custom ROM you may have the Nexus Drivers, and that could be why it is only showing you that option.
there are many other ways of flashing a custom ROM so dont give up if ROM Manager starts acting up.
i personally prefer a flash with ODIN and all update Flashes through CWM

I recently upgraded from 2.2.1 to 2.3.3. Here you can see more info:
As far as i know, this is not a custom ROM, just leaked one. Or am I wrong? I upgraded it with ODIN too and it wasn't hard, I just think it would be even easier, if i didn't have to use the computer and could download ROMs directly on the phone.

Did you do ever flash using Heimdall or Odin?
I'd rather go the procedure described for installing the OVERCOME rom. - It's pretty safe and if you follow all steps, you should end up with a fully working device.

Trouble flashing anything!

Hi all!
Got this p970, it was running 2.3.4, rooted it using framaroot. (Woot woot). Installed rom manager and successfully flashed recovery through the app.
I've tried twice now to flash different versions of CM (10 and 7.2, stable versions) with no luck. Get an error very quickly in recovery, forcing reboot. I don't have a screen cap of the exact error wording (which I realize would be helpful) but I seem to recall "prop" showing up a couple times.
Was there any step I missed that is causing this? Any help would be killer, I wanna ditch this iPhone and get back on a droid!

Camera app can't switch to rear after downgrade (solved)

I downgraded from 5.0 to 4.4.4 (always using same version ) and the little button that you press to switch between cameras isn't even there anymore :silly:

I tried:
-Factory reset
-Wipe caches
-Reinstalling 4.4.4 (using 3 diferent versions, RETUGLB, RETUAWS and my NiiMX twrp backup, and always the same result)
-Uninstalling camera app usung Titanium Backup and reinstalling from store
-Using 3rd party camera apps
etc etc etc ... same result.
the switch button appears only if I install lollipop again And I dont want install it by now .. cuz the batery drain issue

I think the solution is restoring the phone to stock using Shawn's Window Tool.

Its the same stuff as of Shawn's

I found the problem just upgrade the build to latest( .27 )

My Leeco Le S3 X522 Qualcomm died?

Hi, how are you guys? Good night.
It turns out that I had a problem with the installation of the magisk application, when it asked me to flash it, I did it and the phone was never the same again .
I was googling and it turns out that I found this page, and downloaded a ROM that was not the version of my phone (Leeco Le S3 X522) so, when I started with the ROM, nothing on the network or anything like that worked, so here same on the page, I found the following ROM
