I noticed that the Atrix supports GTalk with video, so I've robbed a couple of files to test on my O2X.
IT WORKS
So I've put them in a handy CWM .zip for you.
Tested it fine by calling someone in a browser, although the little window on the phone that shows what they see is upside down (which was fixed in CM7 #98). Not a big deal at all.

I tested it with the latest CM 89 / BB 218 / RIL 218 / Over wifi just now and it works much better..
..Except for my picture being upside down. The receiving picture is fine. Turning it upside down or sideways didn't help. :-/

I'm using it fine, I think you're getting it confused with the Skype with video support which uses NEON instructions.
No, the original GTalk 1.3 wouldn't do video on the O2X which is what I was basing that on. If the one in the Market does then it's been modified, and if I'd known I wouldn't have fiddled around packing this up
Talk isn't on the market; the app I was referring too is a Talk 1.3 installer. I'm pretty sure it grabs the same modded apk.

I tried it on my LG O2X and it works well but I have the video upside down but i hope they will fix this!
Once LG will release a 2.3.4 official then we will have all features working!
Stop thinking that, LG releasing 2.3.4 will be of no benefit to CM.

Sorry, where can I find this fixed update?
I am reading that the new GVS has been working for rooted users. Is this true? I can't find much info. on it. I am referring to the new Google Voice Search that comes with Jellybean and acts like Siri on iPhone. Not the old thing that doesn't talk and barely does anything.
If anyone could shed some light on this I would be grateful I am running CM9 still but if I have to upgrade to 10 for this I will do so. Just seeing if it is even true first of all.

I wouldn't know how it compares to an iPad as I have not used it . Why don't you try it .Make a nandroid and install will take 15 minutes and if you don't like it you can switch back .
It's quite a bit better than Siri, I've got/used both, and Siri only understands me about 50% of the time, Google Now is closer to 80%

I had paid for it back in the day on another older rom because it worked so well, then for whatever reason it quit working after I flashed a different rom a while back, but it does work with 4.4.x and bluetooth. Just wanted to share. thanks guys.

DAC is working just fine on pie update for me.
Previously I have owned a LG G2 and a V30+
I had a really weird bug with my V40 since purchased;
I wanted to use "Electronic-ID" app called BankID (Swedish), it would just crash when trying to read phone. The solution was oddly enough to put a micro sdxc card in the second sim card slot :victory:
Quad DAC is great with my shure in ear plugs and speaker system, currently using Tidal as streaming service (3 months free).
Camera is amazing compared to my old Oneplus 5T :good:
Battery life isn't really great, with about 5-5.5 hours screen on time, I think it's partly because of LGs automatic screen brigtness mode - in my opinion it turns the screen about 15% too bright most of the time.
Mine is currently unlocked bootloader and rooted with Magisk, but I hope we will see a lot of custom rom support (including twrp recovery) in the soon future.

Wouldja look at that, a lot of the same. I dig Overlord but newer seasons seems to be drifting away from the whole "stuck in MMORPG" setting. It's still isekai but the game elements feel a lot less now.
Fairy Tail has ended, last S9 was the last one. I loved DanMachi (anything in an isekai setting really), just realized it's got a new season.. yay!

I can confirm it's working with V50 also.
But it seems choosing refurbish it doesn't allow to crossflash. Any suggestions? Maybe Partition DL or lgup 1.15 with cmd? Waiting your thoughts.

You should be posting in the LGUP thread mate. Anyways, have you tried with upgrade instead?
On the V30 we had to go with partition DL selecting all partitions. But that was on an older chipset. No way to know if it's gonna work on the newer SD unless someone tries it - not that I'm suggesting you to do so.
And here we are still struggling to get pie out the door for most folks..

my mi9t was dead recently and i'm in the market for a new cheap phone. I resisted realme for a long time due to color os until someone pointed it out that the new realme ui is better than miui, so i am going to give it a try and stumbled upon how cheap the x2 pro is given its spec.
Well since specs arent everything and there are many little things not covered in reviews, i would like to ask if
1. it has AOD and is it customizable
2. Does it have screen off hands off ok google, i use it a lot
3. since it is using in display fingerprint sensor i made the mistake of not backup-ing the resist partiotion in mi9t making it almost useless. Do i have to do the same thing and is it bootloader unlockable? i saw quite a lot of custom rom available and thats kinda good
4. is there any small things i need to know like build quality, lagginess

It's a good phone overall. I am using CN version, however I recommend you get the EU version to get full gapps support.
Yes AOD on realme UI is fairly customizable. You can choose what to show and the clock. Display format and style. Beyond that not really.
EU version has the all google apps as far as I know but please double check.
Bootloader is easily unlocked. Rest i am not sure.
Built quality is superb. Battery 0 to 100 percent in 36 minutes. No lagginess with stock. Pretty fast boot due to UFS 3.0 (not all variants have this so pls. be careful when ordering/buying). People say cameras are ok and not great. For me upgrading from LG V20, they definitely are better. Also you might have to disable smart power saver for apps to work correctly i.e send notifications pop ups etc. Maybe that's only for CN version.

that sucks, but you could use face unlock then use ok google right away, the face unlock in this device is really really fast, just one lock and it will be open
