i'm really addicted to games and i was wandering what's the best rom and kernel for gaming .
I use Simplicity 1.5.1 with Semaphore kernel and it is very fast. Games run smoothly also and the battery life is good. You can also try other roms bu odexed are better for gaming.

So far, that's the best stable rom for gaming, as the other roms concentrate more on having CM10.1 or aesthetics.
A good gaming rom is something u have to build urself. Use official cm7.2 and throw in a bunch of performance tweaks.

I think that the best rom is the cm7 from slim series. It's stable, it uses less ram than experience 8, and it's very lightweight.
If you want to play 3d games with your mini, buy an ipod
Whats the best balanced rom for no lag and best battery? I dont do any kind of gaming.

Stock roms always have better battery and stability.
I'd suggest a china based mod, like Masik, MIUI MS or Xiaomi.eu. With latest betas you get up to 5:30 hours SOT and they're Oreo based. Older Nougat releases reached 6:30hrs.
I am very happy with aex.mod rom. Good battery life and absolutely good gaming performance. I put on test with antutu , gpu performance better than eu rom almost 10k point. Battery performance over 5 hours.
