Just 6 languages to choose? Have someone other Regional Code then 709 Taiwan? - HTC U19e Questions & Answers

Hi,
some days ago my U19e (and wife's Desire 19+) arrived. Both as every time when bought an HTC a nice piece hardware, good haptic, and so on.
But I was wondering that on my U19e I just have 6 languages to choose. English and some Asian, Regional Code is 709 Taiwan. My momentary U12+, also 709 Code, have all languages to select.
On an older HTC I've rooted and checked also German as available language, but this causes that I won't receive OTAs anymore (directly after switching on 3 or 4 received, one after another), and as it seems no custom recovery will be distributed.... this is not an option.
Did anyone have other Regional Code the 709, or have one with more languages to choose?

Hello !
Same problem for me also (HTC u19e) I would like French dictionary/language to add .

Need urgent help in changing interface ROM language on T8285

I just purchased a T8285 recently, but need help in flashing/changing the interface language to Traditional Chinese.
As all you know, the T8285 is the Australian version (supports 850 3G band).
I need the ROM language version from T8282 in Traditional Chinese (sold in Asia -- aka Taiwan/Hong Kong version).
I have not done any phone ROM flashing before, so a step-by-step instruction would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks again!
Starting with the "sticky" threads and the wiki would help you alot!

Most shipped roms, just find the one in the language you need: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Blackstone_Ship_exe
Finding a ROM in traditional Chinese may prove difficult here. For the most part, you're going to have to look on forums that center around the Taiwan and Hong Kong XDA communities. While xda-developers is perceived by many as the "main" xda site, in reality it is almost completely devoid of Asian language ROMs. Usually what you'll find here in CHT are crap ROMs from a long ago.
For Simplified Chinese CHS: you can turn to http://bbs.592ppc.com and http://www.xda-china.com. 592 is also a good place to get provisioning CABs for the three 3G networks on the mainland.
For Traditional Chinese CHT:

Also, htc-world.com etc. I don't really know much about the CHT scene, but there seem to be many ROMs to choose from.
If what you want is just the ability to operate in a Chinese world with your phone, it is rather easy to add Chinese language support to an English phone. While the system pages may still be written in English, applications will have no trouble displaying Chinese and you'll be able to send and receive text in Chinese.
To do this you'll need:
1) An Asian language supporting wince.nls file. You just use Total commander to copy it over the file in your \Windows directory.
2) A traditional Chinese font. You can get this from your Windows PC.
3) You'll need to add that font to your FontLink entries in your registry.
* Many ChineseFont CABs do steps 2 & 3 for you, but you can do it yourself.
4) An input method. The best I think is A4 2.8 (not 2.4) for Dopod HD. It's a PinYin keyboard that supports both simplified and traditional, but as well has English support sufficient for me (a native English speaker) to use for 100% of my typing.
If you need any help with these things, just let me know.

Changing language

Hi all,
If there is a language that is not in the list of languages on the milestone, is there some way to get more? For example, I want to have Swedish menu's and so on. Many thanks!
I know that in israel one of the providers translated the whole thing into hebrew and added proper LTR support.
And their SBF can be found on motorola's site. I've downloaded it and flashed my device, and now if i'd like to, it can be in hebrew.
Maybe a swe provider did the same?
Hebrew
What is the link?
I'm about to buy a droid 2 global, but I need to be able to type in hebrew on the hardware keyboard and view hebrew on the screen including websites.
Can this be done?

[Q] Can anyone of existing owners answer simple question?

Is it possible to change User Interface language e.g. from German to English? Or is it necessary to change the whole image?
Thank you very much for reply...
Yep. My UI is english instead of german, but all localization options are set to german (time-format & co.). If you browse the marketplace with this settings, you get a german description of apps (if available), but after installing them the ui of them is set to english.
My language options are englsh/german/spanish on my german o2 HD7.
So far my experience.
Thank you very much... I am on my way to Germany to buy one... ))
Hmm, maybe you won't have luck. It's sold out here everywhere.
Its was not. I bought one in Dresden...
And I have seen several of them in O2 shops in Munich as well. They didnt have them in store but when I asked the sales, he said, that he has couple of them on stock.
Find the shops in your area, check if they have it and go
http://www.vertriebspartner.de.o2.com/shopsuche/?o2_type=url&o2_label=o2shop
Till now I thought, I have a good phone (HD2) but since I have HD7 I dont like it anymore.

Firmware for S10 973U multilanguage

Hi, friends. Have Samsung S10 T-Mobile G973U (unlocked) . Please tell me in which firmware I can find the maximum number of languages of the system ( in the firmware from T-Mobile there is only English, Spanish, German, French and several Asian languages). I live in the USA, and bought a phone as a gift to my mother, she lives in Belarus (English is bad). Maybe in the unlocked version from Samsung there is multilanguage (namely Belarusian or Russian). I will thank you for your help!

I have T-Mobile S10e and when you go to the menu and tap Add Language, it will display "English, Spanish, German, French and several Asian languages" as you mentioned. Now tap 3 dots in the top right corner and select All Languages. It will display you list of other languages, but the phone will not be fully Russian language. Some items in the settings menu and most apps that have Russian language support, should work(including Google apps). Also after you select the new language, your phone will download some info for different apps, so they can display that language

In order to get all languages properly displayed, you need another model of S10 that is for EU market. Model # would have an F instead of U
