CN | EU | India ROM? - Realme X2 Pro Questions & Answers

There are lots of posts about the inability to flash CN to EU ROM, or vice versa. But it left me wondering: Is there a separate ROM available in India as well?

Yes.

Question [star/mars][CN][MIUI][Global][unlocked]: Will an upgrade to EEA work?

Hello community!
Tomorrow I will receive my CN Ultra unlocked with Global Version.
Will an direct fastboot upgrade to the EU firmware work without restrictions?
Howto of ingbrzy:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...mi-eu-rom-for-xiaomi-mi-11-pro-ultra.4260617/
Do you have experience and are there still restrictions (e.g. banking apps)?
Thanks and best regards!
Mine worked from China to EU without going to global first
You should be ok
Banking and payments all work fine
Hi speedtripler!
But will it also work from CN -> Global -> EU without a trap?
Will I have to do it as fastboot_update or fastboot_first_install_with_data_format ?
best regards!
Hi all,
I did it and it worked very well!
Started with:
- Xiaomi Mi11 Ultra CN Hardware model
- unlocked by Online seller (cect-shop.com)
- Global ROM 12.0.1
Fastboot update to:
- 12.5.4 EU stable (xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11Pro_MI11Ultra_V12.5.4.0.RKACNXM_v12-11-fastboot.zip)
How To of ingbrzy : https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...mi-eu-rom-for-xiaomi-mi-11-pro-ultra.4260617/
-> clean install with "windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat"
best regards!

Hi vendetta17,
4G+: logged in yesterday but not tested.
5G: I haven't been able to test it yet (no antenna nearby).

Just FYI the xiaomi.eu ROM is NOT the EEA ROM.
Xiaomi.eu is tweaked CN ROM and not official EEA ROM.

Question Swap to EEA from Global and OTA updates

Hi all, perhapshis question has been asked (so sorry if it's a double) but if I swap to EEA (note: official EU build from Xiaomi, not the EU build based on CN) from Global is it then possible to get official OTA updates or do I need to manually flash subsequent updates? Thanks.
up, I'm interested
Up. Me too
Every official ROM from xiaomi will get OTA updates
and you can also use system apps updater right?

Hi there, You have normal OTA update. I am on this ROM now (Chinese Version of Mi 11Pro).
Regards
Honestly I find this official EEA firmware the best one for my taste, super snappy and fast,

Updating system applications will work.
In xiaomieu this is disabled because some of the applications are from the Global version and some are original from the Chinese version only translated.
If you updated such a translated application, it would either be corrupted or be in Chinese.

Question Camellia/camellian ?

Could someone define what a difference between camellia and camellian ?
Rom updater lets to select camellia and when select version it let you only download camellian. What's the hell ?
Basically, camellia is the chinese version(M2103K19C) and camellian is the global version(M2103K19G/M2103K19Y).

Camellia refers to chinese version with dual rear cameras. And camellian refers to global version with triple rear cameras.

Question What is the difference between NE2210 and NE2215?

I am an app developer. From our Firebase Crashlytics logs, some issue is happening on NE2215 but I didn't see NE2210.
I can only find NE2210 in my country.
What is the difference between NE2210 and NE2215?
Seems NE2210 is China version and NE2215 is US or global version.
Is it only the ROM difference? Can I flash a NE2210 with a NE2215 ROM?
Thanks
NE2210 is a POS model that does not work well outside of china
Thanks.
Would it be possible to change it to NE2215 by flashing the global ROM?

Won't matter if you can't unlock the LTE bands for use outside of China.

Question TKFEUXM 14.0.2.0: which variant is?

As the title state, I'm wondering which variant is TKFEUXM 14.0.2.0; someone say Global, other says EEA (European); from which I found on Google, seems that "EU" in the name suggests EEA.
T - Android Version
KF - Device Code
EU - Region Code
XM - Sim Lock (carrier)
->
Tiramisu
Redmi Note 10 Pro
EU variant
Unlocked
It is confusing to me.
I purchased the phone (sweet) in the UK from mi/com/uk that had MIUI Global 12.5.8
12.5.8.0(RKFEUXM) but the ADB and Device Info HW app were reporting sweet_eea
adb devices -l
List of devices attached
[...] device usb:3-3 product:sweet_eea model:M2101K6G

The first update it received was 13.0.17.SKFEUXM so EU again.
Recently I installed Lineage 20 custom ROM that was calling to flash firmware V14.0.1.0.TKFMIXM which is the Global version.
All was good until I discovered that this newly installed system shows V14.0.2.0.TKFEUXM
Does the V14.0.1 Global firmware include V14.0.2 EU firmware?
Are there any differences between EU and Global firmware?
Can those be flashed like for like?
Is my device a global or EEA device?
It is all not clear. Phone purchased in the UK, with global software and EU firmware?
What is going on here?
Any clarification and advice appreciated.
