The stock rom would have google play store by default. Did you have a custom rom put on it?

About Samsung galaxy tab s 10.5 Rom
How to check custom ROM?

Hi Ustech.
Have a look in Settings - About Tablet - Software information. If it's not clear to you rom is custom post the information here.
It's a new one for me to hear of Samsung store replacing Google - perhaps you might want to double check for Google in the list of installed apps (Settings - Apps) and confirm.

[Q] Installed Paranoid Android, no google play app to be found. Help!

Hi everyone! I'm having some issues. I made the jump to install a custom rom and so far I like it, with the exception that I have no Google Play app and have no way to install my old apps or anything. Is there anything I can do?
Go back to the ROM page and Install Google gapps package. That's where the play store app is.

[Q] Samsung App Store on Motorola Droid Razr M

I have a new Gear 2 Neo.
I want to install the Samsung App Store on my Razr M, so I can download apps for my Gear 2. But no matter what I do, I can't get it installed.
Has anyone been successful in getting it installed on a non-Samsung device? I read somewhere someone modified the build prop of the app store to spoof a Samsung device. Has anyone done this yet?
As I know, Samsung app store did not install on no Samsung device, you can install tizen mod 3.0 and install many app that it made to install on your gear,

[Q] Smart Unlock for Galaxy Nexus

Hello,
I still have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone running Android 4.3.
Why is the Play Store Version of Smart Unlock not compatible with it ?
I cannot install it from play store.
But the XDA version seems to run fine when I install it manually.
I would preferre to use the Play version, and I also would pay for it.
So why is it not possible to use it at the Galaxy Nexus ?
Regards
Uwe

Hello,
Thanks for your comment. I have realized that there was a mistake on the google play smart unlock compatible devices configuration.
We had excluded Galaxy Nexus by mistake.
Now Galaxy Nexus is marked as compatible with Smart Unlock, so you may be able to download from google play.
Let me know if any problems.

Google certified device

Getting the following error on DSTV Now app since today on Remix Mini in South Africa
Video playback unavailable
Please ensure that you are using a Google certified device by going to Google play store menu
When I go to play store it tells me the remix mini is not certified
Can anyone assist
Julian
It isn't . You need to go back to the OS version that was Google supported most likely . That's what I did. I need to find the guide to link it.

Guide no longer exists on Jides site. I posted a copy here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3752456

It would just trip Knox as stock filmware has been altered, if there was a way to do that.
You are better off using a package disabler on the playstore or disable them via adb - https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....arrier-oem-bloatware-without-root-access/amp/
You can try Samsung Member Apps from Play Store.Check Diagnostic>Unused Apps>Check which one you never/rarely used>Delete.
